Kitanorimonochō (北乗物町), or officially Kanda-Kitanorimonochō (神田北乗物町), is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. As of April 1, 2007, its population is 90. Its postal code is 101-0036. This district is located in the northeast part of the Chiyoda ward. It borders Kanda-Konyachō (North) to the north, Kanda-Higashikonyachō and Kanda-Higashimatsushitachō to the east, Kanda-Konyachō (South) to the south, and Kajichō to the west.

Iwamotochō (岩本町) is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. It consists of 3 chōme. This article also deals with Kanda-Iwamotochō (神田岩本町). As of April 1, 2007, the total population of the two districts is 1,989. Iwamotochō is located on the northeastern part of Chiyoda. The area consisting of both Iwamotochō and Kanda-Iwamotochō borders Kanda-Sakumakaji and Kanda-Sakumachō to the north; Higashi-Kanda to the east; Nihonbashi-Kodenmachō and Nihonbashi-Honchō, Chūō to the south; and Kanda-Sudachō, Kanda-Higashimatsushitachō, Kanda-Higashikonyachō, Kanda-Konyachō, Kanda-Nishifukudachō and Kanda-Mikurachō to the west. Showa-Dori Avenue runs between Iwamotochō and Kanda-Iwamotochō. Iwamotochō, located east to the avenue, has already undergone modernization of the addressing system while, in Kanda-Iwamotochō, located west to the avenue, the modernization has not been enforced yet. In Chiyoda, many districts in the Kanda area has the prefix Kanda-; the addressing system modernization has not been enforced in such districts.

Its postal code is 101-0042. Kanda-Higashimatsushitachō is located on the northeastern part. It borders Kanda-Sudachō to the north, Iwamotochō and Kanda-Iwamotochō to the east, Kanda-Higashikonyachō to the south, Kanda-Konyachō and Kanda-Tomiyamachō to the southwest, and Kanda-Kajichō to the west. Kanda-Higashimatsushitachō is a business district located near the east exit of the Kanda Station.

This article also explains about Kanda-Kajichō (神田鍛冶町), which today only has Kanda-Kajichō 3-chōme. As of April 1, 2007, the total population of the two districts is 371. These districts are located on the northeastern part of Chiyoda. The combined area of Kajichō and Kanda-Kajichō borders Kanda-Sudachō to the north, Kanda-Higashimatsushitachō, Kanda-Tomiyamachō, Kanda-Konyachō, Kanda-Kitanorimonochō, Kanda-Nishifukudachō and Kanda-Mikurachō to the east, Nihonbashi-Muromachi, Nihonbashi-Hongokuchō and Nihonbashi-Honchō to the south, and Uchi-Kanda and Kanda-Tsukasachō to the west. Modernization of addressing system has already been enforced in Kajichō 1-chōme and Kajichō 2-chōme but not yet in Kanda-Kajichō 3-chōme. Formerly, Kajichō 1-chōme and Kajichō 2-chōme were "Kanda-Kajichō 1-chōme" and "Kanda-Kajichō 2-chōme," respectively. In general, a districts with "Kanda-" prefix represents that the district belonged to the former Kanda Ward (神田区, Kanda-ku) and is yet to undergo addressing system modernization. Kajichō and Kanda-Kajichō are business districts near Kanda Station, home to a number of office buildings and stores. JR Kanda Station is located in Kajichō 2-chōme.

Aioichō (相生町), or officially Kanda-Aioichō (神田相生町) is a district of Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan. The closest station is Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line Akihabara Station, which is located in Kanda-Matsunagachō, Kanda-Hanaokachō and Kanda-Neribeichō. While Yamanote Line and Keihin–Tōhoku Line run in the district, JR Akihabara Station is located in Kanda-Hanaokachō.

Akihabara (Japanese: 秋葉原) is a common name for the area around Akihabara Station in the Chiyoda ward of Tokyo, Japan. Administratively, the area called Akihabara mainly belongs to the Sotokanda (外神田) and Kanda-Sakumachō districts in Chiyoda. There exists an administrative district called Akihabara in the Taitō ward further north of Akihabara Station, but it is not the place people generally refer to as Akihabara. The name Akihabara is a shortening of Akibagahara (秋葉ヶ原), which ultimately comes from Akiba (秋葉), named after a fire-controlling deity of a firefighting shrine built after the area was destroyed by a fire in 1869.Akihabara gained the nickname Akihabara Electric Town (秋葉原電気街, Akihabara Denki Gai) shortly after World War II for being a major shopping center for household electronic goods and the post-war black market.Akihabara is considered by many to be the centre of modern Japanese popular culture and a major shopping district for video games, anime, manga, electronics and computer-related goods.
