Percy Lavon Julian High School (commonly known as Julian High School) is a public 4–year high school located in the Washington Heights neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in September 1975, Julian is a part of the Chicago Public Schools district. Julian is named for African-American research chemist Percy Lavon Julian.

103rd Street–Washington Heights station is a commuter railroad station on Metra's Rock Island District line in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, 12.0 miles (19.3 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 103rd Street–Washington Heights is in zone C. As of 2018, 103rd Street–Washington Heights is the 187th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 101 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 103rd Street–Washington Heights is served by 17 trains (eight inbound, nine outbound) on weekdays. It is served during peak hours only, although it does get served by some reverse peak trains. The station is used only during rush hour. Regular service can be found at 103rd Street - Beverly Hills on the Suburban Branch. Parking is available from 104th Street and Throop Street off 105th Street, along the right of way of the former Pennsylvania Railroad "Panhandle Line." Bus connections are provided by the CTA.

The Walter Burley Griffin Place District is a historic district in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The district was built between 1909 and 1914. Seven of the homes were built by Walter Burley Griffin, one by Spencer and Powers, and the rest by various architects. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 13, 1981.

In Metra's zone-based fare system, 103rd Street is in zone C. Parking is available along both side of the tracks between 101st Street and 105th Street. South Walden Parkway runs along the west side of the tracks and contains parking lots between the street and the tracks. Hale Avenue runs along the east side of the tracks and also contains parking lots between the street and tracks. Hale Avenue terminates at 103rd Street, but a parking lot runs further north from there to 101st Street.

Morgan Park High School is a 4-year public high school and middle school located in the Morgan Park neighborhood on the far south side of Chicago, Illinois, United States. Opened in 1916, Morgan Park is a part of the Chicago Public Schools district. Morgan Park is located at the intersection of 111th Street and Vincennes Avenue.

Academy of Our Lady, also known as Longwood Academy, was a school in the Chicago, Illinois from 1875 to 1999. It was co-ed until 1892, and a girls' school afterwards; took boarding students until 1935; and had a grade school program until 1950, after which it was only a high school. It opened as Academy of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1875. The name was changed to Institute of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1886 and to Academy of Our Lady in 1898. The campus is at 1309 West 95th Street at Throop Street the Washington Heights community area, and now houses Chicago International Charter School, Longwood.

107th Street–Beverly Hills is one of five Metra stations within the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, along the Beverly Branch of the Rock Island District Line. The station is located at 1901 West 107th Street opposite the intersection of South Walden Parkway, 13.3 miles (21.4 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 107th Street is in zone C. As of 2018, 107th Street–Beverly Hills is the 121st busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 395 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 107th Street–Beverly Hills is served by 40 trains (20 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. 107th Street Station contains its original station house, but is unstaffed. Parking is available along both side of the tracks between 105th Street and 108th Street. South Walden Parkway runs along the west side of the tracks and contains parking lots between the street and the tracks. Although this street terminates at 107th Street, the parking lot continues to 108th Street. On the east side of the tracks, a parking lot runs north from 108th Street behind the west side of Hale Avenue. Between 107th and 105th Streets, another parking lot runs directly between Hale Avenue and the tracks. No bus connections are available.

99th Street–Beverly Hills is one of five Metra stations within the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, along the Beverly Branch of the Rock Island District Line. The station is located at 9901 South Walden Parkway near 99th Street, 12.3 miles (19.8 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 99th Street is in zone C. As of 2018, 99th Street–Beverly Hills is the 81st busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 645 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 99th Street–Beverly Hills is served by 40 trains (20 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Despite the name of the station, parking is not available along 99th Street. There are two long parking lots along the line between 100th Street and 101st Street, and two smaller parking lots north of 100th Street along both South Walden Parkway and Wood Street. No bus connections are available.

The Beverly/Morgan Railroad District is a historic district in the Beverly, Morgan Park, and Washington Heights community areas of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on April 15, 1995.The district consists of the six train stations at 91st, 95th, 99th, 107th, 111th and 115th Streets along the Rock Island District commuter line of Metra. The stations were built between 1889 and 1945 by various architects. In 2017, the 115th Station suffered a devastating fire that resulted in its demolition.

The Longwood Drive District is a historic district in Chicago, Illinois. The houses along Longwood Drive in the Beverly neighborhood were built beginning in 1873 by various architects. Longwood was named for a long copse of trees that ran along the lee side of the hill where the rest of Beverly is located. The area was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 13, 1981. The Longwood Drive has a mixture of different styles of architecture, such as Italianate, Carpenter Gothic, Queen Anne, Shingle, Prairie School, and Renaissance Revival.

95th Street–Longwood Manor station is a commuter railroad station on Metra's Rock Island District line in the Longwood Manor neighborhood of the Washington Heights section of Chicago, Illinois, at 9501 South Vincennes Avenue at the corner of 95th Street (US 12-20). It is 10.9 miles (17.5 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, Longwood is in zone C. As of 2018, 95th Street–Longwood is the 204th busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 64 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 95th–Longwood Manor is served by 17 trains (eight inbound, nine outbound) on weekdays. It is served during peak hours only, although it does get served by some reverse peak trains. The station is little more than an open acrylic glass shelter and is used only during rush hours. Regular service with more frequent trains is at 95th Street–Beverly Hills station on the Suburban Branch west of this station. Parking is available south of 95th Street along Vincennes Avenue, and east of the station along Genoa Avenue, also off of 95th Street.

The Ridge Historic District is a residential historic district in the Beverly and Morgan Park neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois. As its name suggests, the district is centered on a ridge, making it one of the few areas of high ground in the generally flat city. Development in the district began in the late nineteenth century, as the Rock Island Line brought access to downtown jobs and several private schools opened in the area, and continued through the early twentieth century. Real estate atop the ridge was particularly sought after for its views and attracted wealthy residents, while the area's working-class population typically lived near the railroad stations. The district's houses exhibit a variety of popular architectural styles from its period of growth; its Prairie School architecture is especially noteworthy, including twelve designs by Walter Burley Griffin and multiple Frank Lloyd Wright works.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 1976.
