99th Street–Beverly Hills station

The Beverly/Morgan Railroad District is a historic district in the Beverly, Morgan Park, and Washington Heights community areas of Chicago, Illinois, United States. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on April 15, 1995.The district consists of the six train stations at 91st, 95th, 99th, 107th, 111th and 115th Streets along the Rock Island District commuter line of Metra. The stations were built between 1889 and 1945 by various architects. In 2017, the 115th Station suffered a devastating fire that resulted in its demolition.

The Ridge Historic District is a residential historic district in the Beverly and Morgan Park neighborhoods of Chicago, Illinois. As its name suggests, the district is centered on a ridge, making it one of the few areas of high ground in the generally flat city. Development in the district began in the late nineteenth century, as the Rock Island Line brought access to downtown jobs and several private schools opened in the area, and continued through the early twentieth century. Real estate atop the ridge was particularly sought after for its views and attracted wealthy residents, while the area's working-class population typically lived near the railroad stations. The district's houses exhibit a variety of popular architectural styles from its period of growth; its Prairie School architecture is especially noteworthy, including twelve designs by Walter Burley Griffin and multiple Frank Lloyd Wright works.The district was added to the National Register of Historic Places on May 28, 1976.

103rd Street–Beverly Hills is one of five Metra stations within the Beverly Hills neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois, along the Beverly Branch of the Rock Island District Line. The station is located at 10301 South Walden Parkway on the corner of 103rd Street, 12.8 miles (20.6 km) from LaSalle Street Station, the northern terminus of the line. In Metra's zone-based fare system, 103rd Street is in zone C. As of 2018, 103rd Street–Beverly Hills is the 71st busiest of Metra's 236 non-downtown stations, with an average of 734 weekday boardings.As of 2022, 103rd Street–Beverly Hills is served by 40 trains (20 in each direction) on weekdays, by 21 trains (10 inbound, 11 outbound) on Saturdays, and by 16 trains (eight in each direction) on Sundays and holidays. Parking is available along both side of the tracks between 101st Street and 105th Street. South Walden Parkway runs along the west side of the tracks and contains parking lots between the street and the tracks. Hale Avenue runs along the east side of the tracks and also contains parking lots between the street and tracks. Hale Avenue terminates at 103rd Street, but a parking lot runs further north from there to 101st Street.

Parking is available on the south side of 95th Street between the railroad tracks and Longwood Drive, and further west on the corner of 95th Street and Pleasant Avenue.

Beverly Unitarian Church is a Unitarian Universalist ("UU") church in Chicago, Illinois.The church formed in 1951 by the merger of two congregations: the Beverly Unitarian Fellowship, which had begun in 1941, and the People's Liberal Church founded in 1878. People's Liberal Church was known by a variety of names over the years: In 1878 it was called the Unitarian Universalist Christian Union Society of Englewood, or simply the Christian Union Society; in 1880 on moving to a new building, it was named First Universalist Church of Englewood; in 1889 it moved to a larger building and was called Stewart Avenue Universalist Church.

Elizabeth H. Sutherland Elementary School is a public K-8 school located in the Beverly neighborhood on the south side of Chicago, Illinois. It is part of the Chicago Public Schools system. The school is named for Chicago educator Elizabeth "Bessie" Huntington Sutherland, the first woman principal in Cook County. The current building was opened in 1925, one year after Sutherland's death.

The Walter Burley Griffin Place District is a historic district in Chicago, Illinois, United States. The district was built between 1909 and 1914. Seven of the homes were built by Walter Burley Griffin, one by Spencer and Powers, and the rest by various architects. It was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 13, 1981.

The William and Jessie M. Adams House is a Prairie school style house located at 9326 South Pleasant Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

The Longwood Drive District is a historic district in Chicago, Illinois. The houses along Longwood Drive in the Beverly neighborhood were built beginning in 1873 by various architects. Longwood was named for a long copse of trees that ran along the lee side of the hill where the rest of Beverly is located. The area was designated a Chicago Landmark on November 13, 1981. The Longwood Drive has a mixture of different styles of architecture, such as Italianate, Carpenter Gothic, Queen Anne, Shingle, Prairie School, and Renaissance Revival.

Academy of Our Lady, also known as Longwood Academy, was a school in the Chicago, Illinois from 1875 to 1999. It was co-ed until 1892, and a girls' school afterwards; took boarding students until 1935; and had a grade school program until 1950, after which it was only a high school. It opened as Academy of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1875. The name was changed to Institute of Our Lady of the Sacred Heart in 1886 and to Academy of Our Lady in 1898. The campus is at 1309 West 95th Street at Throop Street the Washington Heights community area, and now houses Chicago International Charter School, Longwood.

Beverly, officially Beverly Hills, is the 72nd of Chicago's 77 community areas. Located 12 miles (19 km) from the Loop, it is on the city's far south side. Beverly is considered part of the Blue Island Ridge, along with the nearby community areas of Morgan Park and Mount Greenwood, and Washington Heights, and the City of Blue Island. As of 2020, Beverly had 20,027 inhabitants. Sparsely settled until the late 19th century, Beverly was incorporated as part of the Village of Washington Heights in 1874 and began development by business interests from Chicago. The area was annexed by the city of Chicago in 1890 and continued to grow with the completion in the Rock Island Railroad that runs parallel along the eastern edge of the Blue Island ridge to its terminus at LaSalle Street Station in downtown Chicago. Beverly's situation along on the ridge allowed the community to become an exclusive streetcar community, which is reflected in the homes and large lots.
