The Drexel University College of Engineering is the university's flagship college, founded in 1891 by banker A.J. Drexel to prepare his hometown Philadelphians to participate in opportunities provided by the Industrial Revolution. The college has six departments, 11 undergraduate programs/majors, and 18 graduate degree programs at its main campus in the University City section of Philadelphia, one block from 30th Street Station. The college is listed in the U.S. News & World Report 2020 rankings as #54 for Best Undergraduate Engineering Programs and #74 in Best Engineering Schools (graduate). Drexel was cited by Forbes magazine as one of the top 25 STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) schools in the country.

Schuylkill Yards is a $3.5 billion, masterplanned development project by Brandywine Realty Trust in West Philadelphia. The project was announced in a press conference in March 2016. The project is being designed in phases. Groundbreaking occurred in late 2017, and the first piece—a public park called Drexel Square—was delivered in June 2019.

The Campus of Drexel University is divided into four sites in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania—the University City Campus, the Center City Campus, the Queen Lane Campus, and the Academy of Natural Sciences. An additional location for the College of Medicine is under construction by Tower Health near Reading Hospital in West Reading, Pennsylvania. A branch campus in California—the Drexel University Sacramento Campus–closed in 2015.

Pennsylvania Railroad Office Building is a historic office building located in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. It was built by the Pennsylvania Railroad in 1927, and is a 14-story, brick and limestone building in the Classical Revival style. It consists of a four-story limestone and terra cotta base, topped by a 10-story E-shaped tower of buff-colored brick.It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The medical school merged in 1993 with Hahnemann Medical College, which was founded in 1867. Drexel's cooperative education program (co-op) is a prominent aspect of the school's degree programs, offering students the opportunity to gain up to 18 months of paid, full-time work experience in a field relevant to their undergraduate major or graduate degree program prior to graduation.

The Philadelphia Parking Authority (PPA) is an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania that manages many parking operations for Philadelphia. The PPA was created by the Philadelphia City Council on January 11, 1950, for the purpose of conducting research for management of off-street parking and to establish a permanent, coordinated system of parking facilities in the city. Since then, the PPA's scope has expanded to include parking operations at the Philadelphia International Airport, most street-parking policy enforcement, and regulation and enforcement of taxicabs and limousines.The PPA's status as an agency of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania rather than the City of Philadelphia allows for the Republican-controlled state authorities to offer patronage positions in the largely Democratic city. The former board chairman Joseph Ashedale has over 10 family members on the agency's payroll. 33rd Street station is a subway station in Philadelphia. It is located on the campus of Drexel University and serves all routes of the SEPTA subway–surface trolley lines. It is the last station of the subway–surface lines with all lines before the Route 10 splits away and exits the tunnel at 36th Street. The stop is located on the campus of Drexel University.

The College of Arts and Sciences (CoAS) is one of the many colleges at Drexel University. It was formed in 1990 when Drexel merged the two existing College of Sciences and College of Humanities together.

Hajoca Corporation Headquarters and Showroom is a historic commercial building located in the University City neighborhood of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The original section was built in 1921, and expanded in 1930. It is a two-story, flat roofed building in the Art Deco style. It is clad in limestone and features decorative brickwork. The building houses WXPN radio and the World Cafe Live, a live music venue dedicated to showcasing live music. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003.

The Drexel University College of Computing & Informatics (CCI), formerly the College of Information Science and Technology or iSchool, is one of the primary colleges of Drexel University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The College of Computing & Informatics has faculty and administrative offices, research laboratories, collaborative learning spaces, and classrooms at 3675 Market Street (University City Campus). Its current dean is Yi Deng.CCI was formed in September 2013 by merging the former College of Information Science and Technology (iSchool), the Department of Computer Science, and the Department of Computing and Security Technology. It is part of the iSchools Caucus and the former College of Information Science and Technology was one of the three founding members of the iSchool Caucus.
