Groton-Dunstable Regional High School

The District 7 School is a historic school building at 366 Chicopee Row in Groton, Massachusetts. The one-room single story brick building was built c. 1833, and is one of four surviving district schools (of which it is the best-preserved) in the town. The building has only very limited vernacular Federal styling, but has retained interior finish work from both the early and late 19th century. The property includes a 19th-century outhouse. The building served as a school until 1916, after which time it was taken over by a community non-profit for use as a community center.The schoolhouse was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2008.

The Bennett-Shattuck House is a historic house at 653 Martins Pond Road in Groton, Massachusetts. Built c. 1812, it is a well-preserved example of rural Federal period architecture, and is associated with a property that was farmed for two centuries. The house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2006. Most of its associated farm property is now local conservation land.

The Nissitissit River is a 10.5-mile-long (16.9 km) river in southern New Hampshire and northern Massachusetts in the United States. It is a tributary of the Nashua River, itself a tributary of the Merrimack River, which flows to the Gulf of Maine. This river is part of the Nashua River Watershed. The Nissitissit River begins at the outlet of Potanipo Pond in the town of Brookline, New Hampshire. The Nashua River Rail Trail is a 12.5-mile (20.1 km) paved mixed-use rail trail in northern Massachusetts and southern New Hampshire under control of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation (DCR). It roughly follows the course of the Nashua River, passing through the towns of Ayer, Groton, Pepperell, and Dunstable, Massachusetts and ends about a mile across the New Hampshire state border in Nashua, New Hampshire.
