Port Klang (Malay: Pelabuhan Klang) is a town and the main gateway by sea into Malaysia. Known during colonial times as Port Swettenham (Malay: Pelabuhan Swettenham) but renamed Port Klang in July 1972, it is the largest port in the country. It is located about 6 kilometres (3.7 mi) southwest of the town of Klang, and 38 kilometres (24 mi) southwest of Kuala Lumpur. Located in the District of Klang, it was the 11th busiest container port (2012) in the world. It was also the 12th busiest port in by volume (million TEU) in 2018 and as of July 2020 was the top location for aluminium stockholding for LME, the top metal exchange in the world.

The Port Klang Komuter station is a train station in Port Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, operated by KTM Komuter. It is the western terminus, and name sake, of the Port Klang Line. The South Port cruise ship terminal, Port Klang Immigration Centre and the Pulau Ketam ferry terminal are located a walking distance from this station. Many primary and secondary schools are located in the proximity, and because of that, this station can get packed during the mornings and evenings.

Also popularly known as Jusco Bukit Tinggi, the shopping mall is located in the Bandar Bukit Tinggi township, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia.The mall is the largest ÆON (JUSCO) shopping centre in Malaysia and Southeast Asia (and the largest in Asia).The RM350 million (over US$111 million) shopping mall opened its doors on 24 November 2007 and was officiated by the Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah. The shopping complex has over 3,000 car park bays.The AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre has a gross lettable/leasable area of 1,800,000 square feet (170,000 m2), making it one of the largest shopping malls in the country. The AEON store is the anchor tenant. Other stores include restaurants, cafes, specialty and services stores, food court, leisure and entertainment stores, cinemas, sports and book stores.By February 2024, the shopping mall will be directly connected to the Bandar Bukit Tinggi LRT station on the Shah Alam line. It is the first AEON to have a joint hotel and an apartment, The Landmark. AEON Bukit Tinggi receives almost more than 250,000 customers during weekdays and more than 400,000 during weekends.

Pandamaran is a town and a state constituency in Klang District, Selangor, Malaysia. It is adjacent to Port Klang and close to Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital as well as Bandar Bukit Tinggi. Pandamaran is essentially a Chinese New Village area, it is served by excellent road connections and is one of the major industrial zones in the royal town of Klang.

The Jalan Kastam Komuter station is a commuter train halt located in Port Klang, Selangor and served by the Port Klang Line of the KTM Komuter railway system. It was named as Pelabuhan Klang Pusat at the beginning. The Jalan Kastam Komuter station was built to cater traffic in suburban area with the similar name called Jalan Kastam, located north-east from South point of Port Klang. The KTM scrapyard and depot located beside the station is currently used to house old, broken down locomotives that will be sent for scrapping. Now, the station will also interchange with future MRL East Coast Rail Link Phase 2 and would be the terminal station for passenger service.

Botanic Klang is a major township in the southern part of Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. The RM3 billion township project is led by Gamuda Berhad and developed by Harum Intisari Sdn Bhd. It is adjacent to other new and modern townships such as Glenmarie Cove and Bukit Tinggi, Klang. The township consists of 2 development parcels, Parcel A and Parcel B. Parcel A was developed mainly for double storey link houses, semi-detached houses, commercial shop offices and apartments. Parcel B is mainly focused on bigger sized houses: double storey super link houses, semi-detached houses, and bungalows. Botanic Capital is a massive 67-acre (270,000 m2) freehold central business district in Botanic Klang. The 1,247-acre (5.05 km2) freehold township became one of the most sought developments in the Klang Valley when it was launched in July 2001. Botanic Klang falls under the jurisdiction of the Klang Municipal Council. It is represented in the Parliament by the Member of Parliament for Klang, Mr. Charles Santiago. There are many public amenities in and around Bandar Botanic such as banks, post offices, shopping centres (AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre, Tesco and Giant Hypermarket).

Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre (formerly known as Manipal Hospitals Klang) is a modern private medical facility located in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. Bukit Tinggi Medical Centre (BTMC) is a part of the Ramsay Sime Darby Healthcare (RSDH), a joint venture between Ramsay Health Care, Australia and Sime Darby, Malaysia. Earlier it was part of the Manipal Hospitals, India.

The Klang River (Malay: Sungai Klang) is a river which flows through Kuala Lumpur and Selangor in Malaysia and eventually flows into the Straits of Malacca. It is approximately 120 km (75 mi) in length and drains a basin of about 1,288 km2 (497 sq mi). The Klang River has 11 major tributaries. Because the river flows through Klang Valley, which is a heavily populated area of more than four million people, it is considerably polluted, because of deep siltation caused by human waste from informal settlers of the riverbank and even from some business establishments without septic tanks or sewage treatment plants and by soil carried by mudflows from mountains. Heavy development has narrowed certain stretches of the river to the point that it resembles a large storm drain in some places. This contributes to flash floods in Kuala Lumpur, especially after heavy rain.

The Klang Jaya LRT station is an elevated light rapid transit station in Bandar Bukit Tinggi, Klang, Selangor, Malaysia, forming part of the Shah Alam line.The station is marked as Station No. 23 along the RM9 billion line project with the line's maintenance depot located in Johan Setia, Klang. The Klang Jaya LRT station was expected to be operational in February 2024, but Transport Minister Anthony Loke mentioned that the overall line would be expected to be operational by 1st March 2025 adding more delays to the opening of the Shah Alam Line. It will have facilities such as Park and Ride, kiosks, restrooms, elevators, taxi stand and feeder bus among others.

The Kampung Raja Uda Komuter station is a commuter train stop located in Kampung Raja Uda, Klang, Selangor and served by the Port Klang Line of the KTM Komuter railway system. The Kampung Raja Uda Komuter station was built in suburban area and named after the village, Kampung Raja Uda, located northern east from Port Klang. Kampung Raja Uda is a very convenient location, it only takes 10 minutes to Federal Highway, Kesas Highway, NKVE Highway.

The Tengku Ampuan Rahimah (TAR) Hospital in Klang (Malay: Hospital Besar Tengku Ampuan Rahimah, Klang), also known as Klang General Hospital or Klang GH is a 1094-bed government tertiary hospital located in the south of the royal town of Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. The hospital is the second busiest hospital in Malaysia in terms of inpatients admission and the busiest outpatient medical facility in Malaysia.This hospital provides primary and selected tertiary care services. The hospital began operations in 1985 and is located not far from Istana Alam Shah and Bandar Bukit Tinggi. It was named after the consort of Sultan Salahuddin, Tengku Ampuan Rahimah.
