Lycée Janson de Sailly is a lycée located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France. The lycéens of Janson are called les jansoniens and they usually refer to their high school as Janson, or JdS. It is the biggest academic institution in the region: 3,200 boys and girls from 11 to 20 attend classes ranging from junior high school to Classes Préparatoires.

The Musée d'Art Dentaire Pierre Fauchard is a museum of dental history located in the 16th arrondissement at the Académie Nationale de Chirurgie Dentaire, 22 Rue Émile Ménier, Paris, France. It is open Wednesday afternoons by appointment. The nearest métro and RER stations are Porte Dauphine, Avenue Foch, and Victor Hugo. The museum dates to 1879 when Parisian dentists began to organize a dental school; with it the Musée d'Art Dentaire was established to display old techniques and tools. By 1892 its collection contained around 300 items. In 1937 the museum was renamed the Musée Pierre Fauchard to honor Pierre Fauchard (1678-1761), sometimes called the father of modern dentistry. Since 2003 its collections have been maintained by the Musée de l'Assistance Publique - Hôpitaux de Paris. Today the museum contains over 1,000 items relating to the history of dentistry, including instruments and dental chairs from the seventeenth century to nineteenth century, about 350 items for the cleaning and extraction of teeth, about 200 dental prosthetics, as well as etchings, paintings from the seventeenth century Dutch School, and a library of about 500 antique books including an original edition of Fauchard's "Le Chirurgien Dentiste", published 1728. One item of particular note is the magnificent Charles X case, manufactured in the United States in the middle of the 19th century, which contains a total of 130 instruments for the maintenance and extraction of teeth.

Rue de la Pompe is a street in Paris, France, which was named after the pump which served water to the castle of Muette. With a length of 1690 metres, Rue de la Pompe is one of the longest streets in the 16th arrondissement. It runs from Avenue Paul Doumer (in the district of Muette) to Avenue Foch (in the district of Porte Dauphine). Originally, it was a small way and first mentioned in 1730. For a long time, Rue de la Pompe, which runs from South to North, was together with Rue de Longchamp (which runs from East to West) the main axis of Passy whose terrain was mainly used for agricultural reasons until it became a part of Paris on 1 January 1860.

Rue de la Pompe (French pronunciation: ​[ʁy d(ə) la pɔ̃p]) is a station on line 9 of the Paris Métro, named after the Rue de la Pompe. The station opened on 8 November 1922 with the opening of the first section of the line from Trocadéro to Exelmans. This Passy street is mentioned in the archives of 1730 as a way of skirting the walls of the Château de la Muette. It led to one of the gates in the wall surrounding the Bois de Boulogne. It was called the old path, but was transformed at the end of the 18th century into a street and was named after the pump (French: pompe) that supplied water to the Château de la Muette. Nearby are the Lycée Janson de Sailly (a prestigious high school) and the town hall of the 16th arrondissement.

The Ambassador of Malaysia to the French Republic is the head of Malaysia's diplomatic mission to France. The position has the rank and status of an Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and is based in the Embassy of Malaysia, Paris.

Avenue Victor-Hugo is an avenue in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. It begins at place Charles de Gaulle (also known as the Étoile) and ends at place Tattegrain (becoming avenue Henri-Martin). It is one of the twelve avenues beginning at the Étoile, and the second longest of the twelve, after the avenue des Champs-Élysées. Its junction with the Étoile is between those of the avenue Foch and avenue Kléber. It runs along the colline de Chaillot. Halfway along it is place Victor-Hugo and the Line 2 Metro station Victor Hugo. Originally named avenue de Saint-Cloud, it was renamed avenue Victor Hugo in 1881.Crossing the whole northern part of the 16th arrondissement, over 1.825 km from the Étoile to the Muette, it is an average of 36m wide (its first part, between the Étoile and the place Victor-Hugo, is wider than the second part, between place Victor Hugo and place Tattegrain). Planted with trees and decorated with a statue of its namesake at the junction with avenue Henri-Martin, it is one of the most prestigious avenues in Paris. It includes several buildings by Pierre Humbert, such as numbers 122 and 167 (the latter built in 1911 for Humbert's family). Humbert also built number 124, on the site of the hôtel particulier where Victor Hugo spent his last days (having as his address "Mr Victor Hugo, In his avenue, in Paris").The Avenue was renamed after Hugo on 28 February 1881 (the day after his 79th birthday). The 1907 building's magnificent façade won several prizes and includes a sculpture of Hugo's face by Fonquergne. The Haitian president Lysius Salomon died at number 3 on 19 October 1888.

The Musée de la Contrefaçon is a museum of counterfeiting. It is located at 16, rue de la Faisanderie, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris, France, and open daily except Monday; an admission fee is charged. The nearest métro and RER stations are Porte Dauphine and Avenue Foch. The museum was established in 1951 by Union des Fabricants (Unifab), an organization of manufacturers. It currently exhibits more than 350 items, pairing each counterfeit with its authentic original. A wide variety of items are displayed, including toys, pens, clothes, tools, toiletries, luxury goods, etc.

The 16th arrondissement of Paris (XVIe arrondissement) is one of the 20 arrondissements of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is referred to as seizième. Indeed, the 16th arrondissement of Paris is France's third richest district for average household income, following the 7th, and Neuilly-sur-Seine, both adjacent.The 16th arrondissement hosts several large sporting venues, including: the Parc des Princes, which is the stadium where Paris Saint-Germain football club plays its home matches; Roland Garros Stadium, where the French Open tennis championships are held; and Stade Jean-Bouin, home to the Stade Français rugby union club. The Bois de Boulogne, the second-largest public park in Paris (behind only the Bois de Vincennes), is also located in this arrondissement.

The Institut Agro or National Institute of Higher Education for Agriculture, Food and the Environment is a French public scientific, cultural and professional establishment (EPSCP), a Grands établissements created on January 1, 2020. It is placed under the main supervision of the Ministry of Agriculture and the educational supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education. Its headquarters is in Paris at 42 rue Scheffer in the 16th arrondissement. Since January 1, 2022, the establishment is made up of three schools: the Institut agro Montpellier, the Institut Agro Rennes-Angers and the Institut Agro Dijon. Its three schools are among the 204 French engineering schools accredited as of September 1, 2020 to deliver an engineering diploma.

The Musée d'Ennery is a national museum of Asian art located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris at 59, avenue Foch, Paris, France. The museum has grown from a private collection first begun in the second half of the 19th century by Clémence d'Ennery, wife of playwright Adolphe Philippe d'Ennery (1811–1899). In 1875 she built today's mansion in the Second Empire style, and in 1892 she began to transition it to a public museum with the help of Georges Clemenceau and Émile Deshayes, curator of the Guimet Museum. It was inaugurated as a public museum in 1908. The museum contains nearly 7000 objects purchased from the antique shops Bing, Burty, and Sichel, as well as Au Bon Marché and small boutiques, illustrating daily life in China and Japan from the 12th to 19th centuries. They are exhibited in large wooden cabinets inlaid with mother-of-pearl, and include Kyoto ceramics, Nanban Art resulting from contacts between the Japanese and the Portuguese 1543–1640, over 300 netsuke from the Tokugawa period (1603–1837), porcelain of various East India companies, dolls and figurines, carvings of semi-precious stones, ivories and bronzes, furniture, lacquerwork, with many fine carvings of animal and human forms. The museum was closed for refurbishment from 1996 to April 2012. It is opened on Thursdays pm, Saturdays pm and Sundays pm. Booking is required. The nearest métro station is Victor Hugo.

The Musée Arménien de France is a private museum of Armenian art and archaeology located in the 16th arrondissement of Paris at Fondation Nourhan Fringhian, 59 avenue Foch, Paris, France. The museum was established in 1949 by Nourhan Fringhian, and has been irregularly open to the public since inception. It represents the culture and traditions of Armenia through ceramics, translated Bibles and other liturgical works, religious objects, amulets, paintings, and about 500 coins.The museum is currently closed to the public, but the collection remains presented on its website www.le-maf.com.

The Théâtre National de Chaillot (English: Chaillot National Theatre) is a theatre located in the Palais de Chaillot at 1, place du Trocadéro, in the 16th arrondissement of Paris. Close by the Eiffel Tower and the Trocadéro Gardens—the Théâtre de Chaillot is among the largest concert halls in Paris. It has long been synonymous with popular theatre and is especially associated with stars such as Jean Vilar and Antoine Vitez. In 1975 the French Ministry of Culture designated it as one of the four national theatres of Paris.
