Merry Hill is a suburb of Wolverhampton, West Midlands and a ward of Wolverhampton City Council. It is situated in the south-west of the city, bordering South Staffordshire and the Tettenhall Wightwick, Park, Graiseley and Penn wards. It forms part of the Wolverhampton South West constituency. Merry Hill is itself is the main focal point of the ward, situated at the junction of five main roads. Because of the layout of the ward boundaries, parts of the suburbs of Bradmore, Castlecroft and Finchfield are covered by Merry Hill ward. The population of the ward taken at the 2011 census was 12,189.Highfields Secondary school, Uplands Junior school, St Michael's RC Primary school and Springdale Primary school are all situated within the ward. Merry Hill is served by National Express West Midlands service 4 which operates daily between Spring Hill and the i54 via the city centre.

Highfields School is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Penn area of Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands of England. It was formed in 1957 and accommodates over 1,500 pupils. There is an environmental centre at the back of the school, which as well as lessons, holds many meetings and gatherings for astronomy or the council. The school was re-built as part of a BSF project and the previous building was demolished. Construction commenced in 2010 and the build was completed in 2012, with landscaping finished in 2013. Highfields remained unaffected by the government revamp of schools rebuilds. The school finished a week early for the six weeks holiday and staggered the pupils back into the new school, starting sixth form down to year 7. Upon moving into the new school the uniform was redesigned. With the move into the new establishment the school changed its title from 'Highfields Science Specialist School' to 'Highfields School'. Previously a community school administered by Wolverhampton City Council, in December 2015 Highfields School converted to academy status. However the school continues to coordinate with Wolverhampton City Council for admissions.

Finchfield is a suburb of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is located south-west of the city centre, within the Tettenhall Wightwick Ward between the Merry Hill and Tettenhall Regis Wards of Wolverhampton City Council. Many of the streets have arboreal/plant related names.

Penn is an area which is divided between the City of Wolverhampton and South Staffordshire district. The population of the Wolverhampton Ward taken at the 2011 census was 12,718. Originally, it was a village in the historic county of Staffordshire. There is considerable confusion about exactly which areas fall within Penn. In 19th century censuses, Merry Hill, Bradmore are understood to form part of Penn, although these areas are generally understood to be separate today. However, there has never been any doubt that the two historic settlements of Upper and Lower Penn form the core of the area. Most of Penn is served by National Express West Midlands 15/ 15A (Wolverhampton - Kingswinford - Merry Hill Shopping Centre) and 16 (Wolverhampton - Wombourne - Stourbridge) and Lets Go 64 (Wolverhampton - Penn, Wakeley Hill). Warstones Road is served by the 4 (which starts from Pendeford) and operates via the City Centre, Bradmore and Merridale. Services 16 and 64 are both based on former Midland Red bus routes. Local service 2 connects the Warstones housing estate with the City Centre and Bushbury. The wide junctions at Mount Road and Springhill Lane date back to trolleybus services, these being the turning points for the service. Older residents still refer to the area located at the Springhill Lane shops as "the terminus".

Bradmore is a suburb of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England. It lies at the meeting point of the Graiseley, Park and Merry Hill wards of Wolverhampton City Council. Bradmore is home to Bantock Park, the former grounds of Bantock House which is now a museum owned by the city council. Enoch Powell formerly lived in a house overlooking the park. Situated in the centre of Bradmore is the Bradmore Arms pub, currently owned by Greene King as part of the Hungry Horse chain, and was built in 1926. Originally called the Bradmore Inn, it was in fact located on the opposite side of the road where the current shops now exist. The Bradmore Arms has also seen a number of building changes as it has changed hands through different companies including Whitbread and M&B. The Bradmore Arms also survived demolition, following an application for planning permission submitted to convert the site into a supermarket.Many of the houses in Bradmore were built in or around the early 1920s. The area is well served by buses with service 4 operating between Spring Hill and the i54 via the city centre while service 3 operates between Castlecroft and Fordhouses via the City Centre. Let's Go service 63 runs between Wolverhampton and Oxbarn Avenue serving the local estates to the east of Bradmore Road.

St Bartholomew's Church is in Penn, a district of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Trysull, the archdeaconry of Walsall, and the diocese of Lichfield. Its benefice is united with that of St Anne, Lower Penn. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II* listed building.

Lower Penn is a village in South Staffordshire, situated to the south-west of Wolverhampton, West Midlands. The Civil Parish covers the area of the historic Parish of Penn that is not now covered by the city of Wolverhampton and thus covers a wider area than that immediately surrounding the village. Part of the parish is considered by the ONS to be part of the Wolverhampton sub-area of the West Midlands conurbation. Lower Penn has a village hall known as Victory Hall, and a pub/restaurant, The Greyhound.

Bantock House Museum and Park is a museum of Edwardian life and local history, with 48 acres (190,000 m2) of surrounding parkland in Wolverhampton, England. It is named after Alderman Baldwin and Kitty Bantock who once lived there. It is run by Wolverhampton City Council's Arts and Museums service.

Castlecroft is a suburb of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, located on the edge of the city, WSW of the city centre. It is situated where the Merry Hill, and Tettenhall Wightwick wards meet, and also borders South Staffordshire.

Park, or Park Ward, is a ward of Wolverhampton City Council, West Midlands. It is located to the west of the city centre, and covers parts of the suburbs Bradmore, Compton, Finchfield, Merridale, Newbridge and Whitmore Reans. It borders the St Peter's, Graiseley, Merry Hill, Tettenhall Wightwick and Tettenhall Regis wards. It forms part of the Wolverhampton South West constituency.

Merridale is an area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is situated to the south-west of the city centre, on the border of the city council's Graiseley and Park wards.

Carmelite Monastery, Wolverhampton is a monastic house at Poplar Road, Penn Fields, Wolverhampton, in the West Midlands, England. It was founded in 1922 by sisters from the Most Holy Trinity Monastery of Notting Hill, London.
