Heikant, Reusel-De Mierden

Reusel-De Mierden (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈrøːzəl də ˈmiːrdə(n)] (listen)) is a municipality in the southern Netherlands. It is located in the North Brabant province, and has an area of 78.66 km2 (30.37 sq mi). It had a population of 13,127 in 2021.

Bladel en Netersel is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It covered the villages of Bladel and Netersel. Bladel en Netersel merged with Hoogeloon, Hapert en Casteren in 1997, to form the new municipality of "Bladel".

Hooge Mierde is a village in the municipality of Reusel-De Mierden in the province of North Brabant, the Netherlands. It was formerly part of Hooge en Lage Mierde municipality, and since 1997 it has become part of Reusel-De Mierden. The village was first mentioned around 1200 as Myrtha, and means "settlement near the swamp". Hooge (high) has been added to distinguish from Lage Mierde. Hooge Mierden is an agricultural village which developed in the Middle Ages on the Campine sand grounds. The Catholic St.-Jan Evangelist Church was built between 1922 and 1923 in expressionist style. The tower from the 15th century remained.Hooge Mierde was home to 121 people in 1840. It was part of the municipality of Hooge en Lage Mierde until 1997, when it was merged into Reusel-De Mierden.

Baarschot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbaːr.sxɔt]; Brabantian: Baorschot) is a hamlet in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. In contrast to many other hamlets in the Netherlands, Baarschot does have an official built-up area and thus also standard blue town signs. Administratively, it is part of Diessen.

Hoogeloon, Hapert en Casteren is a former municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It covered the villages of Hoogeloon, Hapert and Casteren. Hoogeloon, Hapert en Casteren merged with Bladel en Netersel in 1997, to form the new municipality of "Bladel".

Esbeek is a village with 1,200 inhabitants. It is one of the six church villages of the municipality of Hilvarenbeek, which has a total of 15,000 inhabitants. Esbeek is located on the high sandy soils in the south of the Netherlands in the province of North Brabant, on the border with Belgium. The village originated from a ring structured village around farm fields, the structure of which can still be recognized today. In addition to Esbeek, it includes the neighborhoods of 'Groenstraat' and 'Hoogeind'. The field is located on the western bank of the 'Spruitenstroompje', a stream that flows into the 'Reusel' five kilometers north of village of Diessen.It was not until 1889 that Esbeek became its own parish and a small village center arose around the church that was inaugurated in 1890. Also around this time a steam tram came from Tilburg to Poppel. The 'Oude Trambaan', a broad lane that separates the forests of the 'Rovertsche Heide' and 'Landgoed de Utrecht', is a testament to this. There was also activity in the form of a brick factory. The local brick industry was started around 1900 by the Zeebregts family, a family of masons and contractors. From 1923 there was a brick factory that worked on a larger scale. This became the largest employer of Esbeek. The activities stopped in 2008.

Hoogeloon is a Dutch village in the commune of Bladel, in North Brabant. Hoogeloon is situated 4 km north of Hapert and is around 20 km west of Eindhoven.

Cartierheide is a natural landscape area in the south of the Netherlands in province North Brabant located close to the Belgian border in the natural region called The Campine (local name in Dutch: De Kempen). On the other side of the border is Belgium's first national park, Hoge Kempen.
