Diessen

Baarschot (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈbaːr.sxɔt]; Brabantian: Baorschot) is a hamlet in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek in the province of North Brabant in the Netherlands. In contrast to many other hamlets in the Netherlands, Baarschot does have an official built-up area and thus also standard blue town signs. Administratively, it is part of Diessen.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Hilvarenbeek, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 5 km south of Diessen.

Esbeek is a village with 1,200 inhabitants. It is one of the six church villages of the municipality of Hilvarenbeek, which has a total of 15,000 inhabitants. Esbeek is located on the high sandy soils in the south of the Netherlands in the province of North Brabant, on the border with Belgium. The village originated from a ring structured village around farm fields, the structure of which can still be recognized today. In addition to Esbeek, it includes the neighborhoods of 'Groenstraat' and 'Hoogeind'. The field is located on the western bank of the 'Spruitenstroompje', a stream that flows into the 'Reusel' five kilometers north of village of Diessen.It was not until 1889 that Esbeek became its own parish and a small village center arose around the church that was inaugurated in 1890. Also around this time a steam tram came from Tilburg to Poppel. The 'Oude Trambaan', a broad lane that separates the forests of the 'Rovertsche Heide' and 'Landgoed de Utrecht', is a testament to this. There was also activity in the form of a brick factory. The local brick industry was started around 1900 by the Zeebregts family, a family of masons and contractors. From 1923 there was a brick factory that worked on a larger scale. This became the largest employer of Esbeek. The activities stopped in 2008.

Hilvarenbeek (Dutch pronunciation: [ɦɪlˌvaːrə(n)ˈbeːk] ) is a municipality and a town in the south of the Netherlands, along the border with Belgium. The biggest tourist attraction is called Beekse Bergen, consisting of a safari park, amusement park/playground, holiday bungalow park, and camping parks. In the centre of the town the Sint-Petrus'-Banden is a Gothic church from the 14th and 15th centuries. The tower is a highlight of the Kempen Gothic.

Speelland Beekse Bergen is an amusement park and playground near Hilvarenbeek, Netherlands. It is a part of the Beekse Bergen group, which also owns Safaripark Beekse Bergen. The park has been a part of Libéma Exploitatie since 1987. Speelland mainly has playgrounds, a beach, and water attractions.

Middelbeers is a village in the municipality of Oirschot in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located between Oirschot (c. 6 km) and Hilvarenbeek (c. 7 km). It is one of the three Beers villages.

Oost-, West- en Middelbeers was a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It included the villages Oostelbeers, Middelbeers, and Westelbeers. The municipality existed until 1997, when it became part of Oirschot.

Moergestel (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈmuːrˌɣɛstəl]) is a village in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located in the municipality of Oisterwijk, about 7 km East of Tilburg.

Heikant is a hamlet in the municipality of Reusel-De Mierden, in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It is located about 1 km north of Hulsel.According to the 19th-century historian A.J. van der Aa, Heikant (or "De Heikant", "De Heykant") consisted of 8 houses and had a population of 50 in the middle of the 19th century.

Safaripark Beekse Bergen is the largest wildlife zoo of the Benelux region and provides a home to approximately 1,250 animals from over 150 species, varying from small mammals to large birds. It is located between the cities of Tilburg and Hilvarenbeek in the south of the Netherlands. The visitors can for instance watch zebras and giraffes on the spacious savannahs. Safaripark Beekse Bergen offers the possibility to explore the park on numerous safaris: walksafari, carsafari, bussafari and boatsafari. The park is owned by the company Libéma Exploitatie BV, which is one of the largest leisure-related companies in the Netherlands. What makes the park so special is that visitors can explore the park with their own car, without a fence in between the visitor and the animals. While driving through the park people can for instance encounter leopards and zebras or get their car 'washed' by a giraffe. In this way the visitor can imagine that they are really taking a safari in Africa. Visitors can also choose to follow the same route per bus. In this way they will get to know more information about the animals, since they will be joined by a Ranger. Besides these two ways of exploring the park, the visitor can also choose to take a boat, that plies between two piers in the park. The visitors can also watch the animals by foot on the approximately 5 kilometres of roads throughout the park. All of the above-mentioned safari possibilities can be combined. All the safaris start at the front of the park and come together at a parking side at the backside of the park, close to the Kongorestaurant. Another feature of the park for which it is very well known is its bird show. In this show full of humour and interesting facts all sorts of birds are shown to the audience. All animals receive a strict diet, as a result of which feeding the animals is prohibited.

Hooge en Lage Mierde was a municipality in the Dutch province of North Brabant. It included the villages of Lage Mierde, Hooge Mierde, and Hulsel. Hooge en Lage Mierde existed until 1997, when it merged with Reusel to form the new municipality of Reusel-De Mierden.

Koningshoeven Abbey (Dutch: Abdij Koningshoeven, Abdij Onze Lieve Vrouw van Koningshoeven) is a monastery of the Trappists (Order of the Cistercians of the Strict Observance) founded in 1881 in Berkel-Enschot in North Brabant, the Netherlands.
