Godolphin School

Milford railway station was the first railway station to be built in the city of Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, in 1847. The Bishopstoke to Salisbury line approached from the south-east, and terminated in the Milford area of the city by the Church of St Martin. In 1859, passenger services were transferred away to the newer station located at Fisherton (now the main station in Salisbury), with Milford retained as a goods depot until the 1960s.

Salisbury Sixth Form College (S6C) is a free school sixth form in the city of Salisbury in the English county of Wiltshire.The college was established in 2014 and opened in temporary accommodation, before moving into a new purpose-built building on Tollgate Road in May 2016.Salisbury Sixth Form College offers a range of A-levels as courses of study for students, as well as some BTECs and Cambridge Technicals. The Church of St Martin, also known as Sarum St Martin, is a Church of England parish church in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. The church dates from the 13th century and is a Grade I listed building.

Salisbury (locally SAWZ-b(ə-)ree) is a cathedral city in Wiltshire, England with a population of 41,820, at the confluence of the rivers Avon, Nadder and Bourne. The city is approximately 20 miles (30 kilometres) from Southampton and 30 miles (50 kilometres) from Bath. Salisbury is in the southeast of Wiltshire, near the edge of Salisbury Plain. An ancient cathedral was north of the present city at Old Sarum. A new cathedral was built near the meeting of the rivers and a settlement grew up around it, which received a city charter in 1227 as New Sarum. This continued to be its official name until 2009, when Salisbury City Council was established. Salisbury railway station is an interchange between the West of England Main Line and the Wessex Main Line. Stonehenge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is 8 miles (13 kilometres) northwest of Salisbury.

Chafyn Grove School is a private co-educational day and boarding preparatory school situated on the edge of the city of Salisbury in Wiltshire, in England's West Country. Founded in 1879 by Mr. W. C. Bird as an all-boys' school, it became Chafyn Grove School in 1916, when it was renamed after its first benefactress, Julia Chafyn Grove.

St Mark's Church is a Church of England church in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. It was built in 1892–94 to the designs of Joseph A. Reeve and has been a Grade II listed building since 1974.

Salisbury Arts Centre is a venue in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. It is run by Wiltshire Creative, a charity which provides opportunities for members of the community to experience the arts. The centre stages a range of educational and community events, many of them free, and it also participates at events in and around the city, including the Larmer Tree Festival. The centre is housed in the deconsecrated St Edmund's Church on Bedwin Street in central Salisbury. Its main performance space can hold 164 people seated or 400 standing. It also has a studio space called the White Room that seats 60, a media space, a multi-purpose arts and crafts space, a pottery studio, an exhibition space, a café, a bar, and staff offices.

The River Bourne is a river in the English county of Wiltshire, a tributary of the Salisbury Avon. It flows in a generally southerly direction for about 48 km (30 miles). In its upper reaches the river is a winterbourne, often dry in summer.The Bourne's source is at the eastern end of the Vale of Pewsey, just south of the village of Burbage. The river cuts through the chalk escarpment at Collingbourne Kingston, to flow south across Salisbury Plain through the town of Tidworth and the village of Shipton Bellinger. As it continues south the river passes the Bourne Valley villages: Cholderton, Newton Tony, Allington, Boscombe, Idmiston, Porton, Gomeldon, Winterbourne Gunner, Winterbourne Dauntsey, Winterbourne Earls and Hurdcott. After passing Ford and Laverstock, the Bourne joins the Avon in the eastern outskirts of Salisbury.

Salisbury Grey Friary was a friary in Wiltshire, England between the 1230s and 1538. The Franciscan Grey Friars came to England in 1224, and by 1230 Henry III was providing building materials for their church at St Ann Street, Salisbury, which may have been founded at the instigation of Richard Poore (bishop of Salisbury 1217–1228). Little is known of its later history until the institution was surrendered during the dissolution in October 1538, when its financial value was found to be low. No visible traces remain of the buildings.The 17th-century house called The Priory, a short distance away at 95 Brown Street, may be on a site connected with the monastery.

Bugmore was an area of the city of Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, to the east of Exeter Street and south of St. Anns Street. It is now occupied by the Friary residential estate.

Frowds Almshouses are Grade II* listed almshouses at 1–12 Bedwin Street in Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. An inscribed stone above the original entrance reads: "Built and Endow'd by the Liberality of Mr EDWARD FROWD Merch[an]t late of this City. 1750." The building was constructed under the terms of the will of wealthy merchant Edward Frowd (d. 1720), who directed that a sum of £8,000 from his estate was to be invested to provide an annual income for his sister Lydia Guest and that upon her death (which occurred in 1745) £7,500 of that sum should be used to build 24 almshouses near to St Edmund's Church in Salisbury. They were to be "built after a husbandly manner but to have little gardens to each house and so built that the poor people may have a comfortable living therein…" Land at the corner of Bedwin Street and Rollestone Street was bought in 1749 and the almshouses were built there. Frowd's will directed that the almshouses should be for twelve poor men and twelve poor women from the parish of St Edmund’s, unless any of his own relations were in need, and that a pew be made for them to sit together in the church.

The Bell and Crown Inn, until April 2019 called The Cloisters, is a Grade II* listed public house in Catherine Street, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England. It dates from the fourteenth century.
