New Cross Hospital is a hospital in the Heath Town district of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is located to the east of the city centre in Wednesfield and is managed by the Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust.

The Church of St Thomas is located in Wednesfield in Wolverhampton, West Midlands. It was originally consecrated in August 1750, as a chapel of ease of St. Peter's Collegiate Church, Wolverhampton and known as the Chapel of St. Thomas in Wednesfield. It became a separate parish in 1849. The church was almost completely destroyed by fire on 18 January 1902, as a result of which the tower is the only remaining part of the original building. The church was reconstructed in similar style to the original and continues in active use as a place of worship, serving most of the town along with its sister church of St. Alban's, and with the neighbouring parish church of St. Gregory's.Made from brick, with ashlar dressing, it was granted Grade II listed status in February 1977, legally protecting it from unauthorised demolition or alteration.

Wednesfield is a town and historic village in the City of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England, It is 2 miles (3.2 km) east-northeast of Wolverhampton city centre, and is part of the West Midlands conurbation. It was historically within the county of Staffordshire. Its name comes from the Old English Wōdnesfeld meaning Woden's Field, open land belonging to, or holy to, the high god of the Germanic Pantheon. It is reported by the English Dialectal Society in the publication "A Glossary of dialectal place-nomenclature" available on-line in the Internet Archive of The University of Toronto Library, that the place name "Wednesfield" is pronounced by the local populace as "Wencefield". Local areas include Ashmore Park and Wood End. There is also a formal garden at Wednesfield Park.

Wednesfield railway station was a station built by the Wolverhampton and Walsall Railway in 1872, and was operated by the Midland Railway from 1876 onwards. It served the Wednesfield area of Wolverhampton, and was located near to Neachells Lane. The station closed in 1931. Although the line remained in use until the 1980s for the goods depot in Wednesfield and nearby factories.

Heath Park School (known as 'Heath Park') is a mixed secondary school and sixth form located in the Heath Town area of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England.Previously a community school administered by Wolverhampton City Council, Heath Park converted to academy status in December 2011. However the school continues to coordinate with Wolverhampton City Council for admissions. Heath Park offers GCSEs as programmes of study for pupils, while students in the sixth form have the option to study from a range of A-levels and BTECs. The sixth form provision is offered in conjunction with Moseley Park School.

St Matthias School is a mixed secondary school located in Wolverhampton in the West Midlands of England.It was established as Deansfield High School in 1968, and serves the Deansfield area in the east of the city, around the Willenhall Road. It was later renamed Deansfield Community School. Deansfield Community School relocated to new buildings in 2015 and was renamed St Matthias School.

Deansfield is an area of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is situated in the city council's East Park ward, to the east of the city centre. Most of the housing in the area was built by the local council during the 1950s but has since been bought by private owners. St Matthias School (formerly Deansfield Community School), founded in 1968, is located in the area. It also has a main link road connecting Wednesfield to Bilston via Stowheath Lane. This provides a vital link to the Black Country and more importantly the Black Country Route, which provides access to towns such as West Bromwich, Wednesbury, Darlaston and Birmingham.

Holy Trinity Church, Heath Town, is in Heath Town, a district of Wolverhampton, West Midlands, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Wolverhampton, the archdeaconry of Walsall, and the diocese of Lichfield. The church has been designated by English Heritage as a Grade II listed building.
