Woldingham and Oxted Downs is a 128.4-hectare (317-acre) biological Site of Special Scientific Interest east of Caterham in Surrey.This sloping site on the North Downs has species-rich chalk grassland, woodland and scrub. Common plants in grazed areas include red fescue, sheep’s fescue, quaking grass, yellow oat grass, purging flax, bee orchid, thyme, common centaury and yellow-wort.

Barrow Green Court is a Grade I listed house near Oxted, Surrey, England.The house was built in the early-17th century, with mid-18th century alterations and 20th-century extensions.Since the 1970s, the businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed has lived at Barrow Green Court.

Hill Park, Tatsfield is a 24.5-hectare (61-acre) Local Nature Reserve south of Tatsfield in Surrey. It is owned by Surrey County Council and managed by Surrey Wildlife Trust.This site on the slope of the North Downs has flora-rich chalk grassland with fly, bee and pyramidal orchids. There is also woodland with ash, beech, yew and an avenue of horse chestnut.There is access from Chestnut Avenue.

Woldingham is a village and civil parish high on the North Downs between Oxted and Warlingham in Surrey, England, within the M25, 17.5 miles (28.2 km) southeast of London. The village has 2,141 inhabitants, many of whom commute to London, making Woldingham part of the London commuter belt. The village is served by the Oxted line and central London can be reached in 33 minutes by train.

Woldingham School is an independent school for girls, located in the former Marden Park of 700 acres (280 ha) outside the village of Woldingham, Surrey, in South East England. It is a Roman Catholic school and a member of the global Network of Sacred Heart Schools.

Woldingham railway station is on the Oxted line in the west of the civil parish and village of Woldingham in Surrey, England. It is 17 miles 15 chains (17.19 miles, 27.66 km) from London Bridge, although off peak trains run to and from London Victoria. The station is managed by Southern.

Tandridge is a village and civil parish in the Tandridge District, in the county of Surrey, England. Its nucleus is on a rise of the Greensand Ridge between Oxted and Godstone. It includes, towards its middle one named sub-locality (hamlet), Crowhurst Lane End. In 2011 the parish had a population of 663 and the district had a population of 82,998.In landmarks it has one of the oldest yew trees in the country, a Grade I-listed church and the tomb of the church's main benefactor Sir George Gilbert Scott's wife, Lady Scott who lived in the parish. The village is acknowledged locally for its friendly atmosphere and sense of community. There is active use of the village hall from the annual Christmas show to many parties and social events. The Village fete and Bonfire events are well attended and add to the sense of village community.

Oxted is a town and civil parish in the Tandridge district of Surrey, England, at the foot of the North Downs. It is 9 miles (14 km) south south-east of Croydon in Greater London, 8.5 miles (13.7 km) west of Sevenoaks in Kent, and 9 miles (14 km) north of East Grinstead in West Sussex. Oxted is a commuter town with a railway station, with direct train services to London and has the district council offices. Its main developed area is contiguous with the village of Limpsfield. Six intermittent headwaters of the River Eden unite in the occasional market town including its furthest source, east of Titsey Place. The Eden feeds into Kent's longest river, the Medway. Only the southern slope of the North Downs is steep and its towns and farmland form the Vale of Holmesdale, a series of headwaters across Surrey and Kent to separate rivers. The settlements of Hurst Green and Holland within the civil parish to the south, including a public house named after Oxted, are continuous but almost wholly residential areas (contiguous neighbourhoods).

All Saints Church is a Roman Catholic Parish church in Oxted, Surrey. Building work on the church started in 1913 and was delayed by World War I. Aspects of the church interior were designed by Geoffrey Webb. It is situated off Chichele Road north of the town centre, to the west of Oxted School. It is a Grade II listed building.

Oxted railway station is on the Oxted line in southern England, serving the commuter town of Oxted, Surrey. It is 20 miles 25 chains (20.31 miles, 32.69 km) from London Bridge. The station is managed by Southern who operate the majority of train services with a few peak services operated by Thameslink. A relatively busy interchange station and terminus, rail services are operated by Southern and Thameslink. The station is the busiest suburban station on the line and is a terminus for some services on the Uckfield branch of the Oxted Line. Trains depart to London Victoria via Clapham Junction, London Bridge via East Croydon station, East Grinstead and Uckfield in East Sussex.

The A25 road is an east–west main road in the South-East of England. Its carries traffic east from Guildford, Surrey, eastward through Surrey and into mid-west Kent, to the town of Sevenoaks, and then on to Wrotham Heath where it connects with the A20. The A25 exits east from Guildford, soon crossing southwards over the North Downs at Newlands Corner, to run eastward below the southern edge of the North Downs, with the road's route alternating between the Vale of Holmesdale and the Greensand Ridge, passing through Dorking, Reigate, Redhill, Nutfield, Bletchingley, Godstone, Oxted, Westerham, Brasted, Sevenoaks and Borough Green. It crosses over the River Wey at Guildford, the River Mole at Dorking, the River Eden at Oxted, and the River Darent at Westerham. The A25 has junctions with several major London to south coast roads: the A24 at Dorking; the A23 at Redhill; the A22 at Godstone; and the A21 at Sevenoaks. A short distance east of Borough Green, at Wrotham Heath, the A25 ends at a junction with the A20, which continues eastward towards Maidstone, and then south-east to Ashford, Folkestone, and then Dover. At its west end in Guildford, the A25 connects with the A3 which takes traffic towards Portsmouth on the south coast. Before leaving Guildford, the A3 connects the A25 with the A31, which continues the westward route to Farnham, before tracking south-westward to Winchester and Bournemouth. The M25 motorway parallels the A25 between Reigate and Sevenoaks, with connections at Reigate, Godstone, and Sevenoaks. The M26 motorway parallels the A25 between Sevenoaks and Wrotham Heath.
