Lady Bird Lake

Longhorn Dam is a dam crossing the Colorado River in Austin, Texas, United States, where it creates Lady Bird Lake. Completed in 1960, the dam was built by the City of Austin as the last in a chain of Colorado River dams in central Texas begun during the Great Depression. The name refers to its location on a ford used for longhorn cattle drives as a part of the Chisholm Trail in the late 19th century.

KTSN (1490 AM) is a radio station licensed to Austin, Texas. While KTSN is commercially licensed by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC), it is the flagship station of the non-commercial listener-supported "Sun Radio Network" and does not air advertisements. The station is owned by Daryl O'Neal, CEO of Township Media DBA The Sun Radio Network. The network airs a mix of adult album alternative and Americana music, along with other genres such as progressive country, blues and folk music. KTSN is the oldest radio station in Austin still on the air today. It transmits with 1,000 watts, with its transmitter on Tillery Street at East 4th Street in Austin. The studios and offices are in the Hill Country Galleria Mall on Hill Country Boulevard at State Highway 71 in Bee Cave. The station holds periodic fundraisers on the air to support Sun Radio.

The University of Texas-University Charter School is a charter school operated by the University of Texas at Austin, serving about 500 students from kindergarten to 12th grade on twenty-three campuses across Texas.

Joe's Bakery and Coffee Shop is a Mexican restaurant in Austin, Texas, United States. Established in 1962, the business was named one of "America's Classics" by the James Beard Foundation in 2023.

Huston–Tillotson University (HT) is a private historically black university in Austin, Texas. Established in 1875, Huston–Tillotson University was the first institution of higher learning in Austin. The university is affiliated with the United Methodist Church, the United Church of Christ, and the United Negro College Fund. Huston–Tillotson University awards bachelor's degrees in business, education, the humanities, natural sciences, social sciences, science, and technology and a master's degree in educational leadership. The university also offers alternative teacher certification and academic programs for undergraduates interested in pursuing post-graduate degrees in law and medicine.

The Anthony and Louise Viaer Alumni Hall, formerly the Administration Building, is a building on the campus of Huston–Tillotson University in Austin, Texas, United States. Constructed in 1914 in the Prairie School style, it was built of bricks manufactured by Huston–Tillotson students.: 17 The building was named after Anthony E. Viaer, an alumnus of the Class of 1958 who gave a $1 million scholarship opportunity to university students.The building was first nominated for National Register listing in 1986, but was not then listed, due to owner objection.: 24  It was listed in 1993.

Plaza Saltillo is a Capital MetroRail commuter rail station in Austin, Texas. It is located in East Austin at the corner of Fifth and Comal Street adjacent to the Plaza Saltillo complex which, in turn, was built in 1998 as a result of a collaborative effort between the city of Austin, the city of Saltillo (a sister city of Austin), Capital Metro and Ole Mexico, an east Austin cultural group. To smoothly incorporate the station in the existing plaza layout and still ensure ADA accessibility, the platform was built with a unique "split ramp" layout, with two high-level sections split by a pair of wheelchair ramps. Railcars stop with their doors aligned with the high-level platform sections, providing level access. With Project Connect, the Green Line will also stop at this station.

The Boardwalk at Lady Bird Lake is a boardwalk along Lady Bird Lake in Austin, Texas, United States. Construction on the $28 million project was completed during October 2012 – June 2014. Artist Ken Little's art installation Belting It Out was commissioned for the boardwalk and features 36 cast bronze belts displaying lyrics by Texas singers and songwriters. Condé Nast Traveler says, "This section of the Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail finally links the entire whole together. Take the time to enjoy a different perspective of Austin from the many viewing areas." The boardwalk begins near the Austin American-Statesman on East Riverside.

Eastside Early College High School (formerly Johnston High School, Eastside Memorial High School) is located in Austin, Texas. It is a part of the Austin Independent School District (AISD).

East Riverside-Oltorf is a neighborhood in Austin, Texas, located southeast of the city's urban core. The East Riverside, Parker Lane, and Pleasant Valley neighborhoods together form the East Riverside-Oltorf Combined Neighborhood Planning Area. The region is bounded on the north by Lake Lady Bird, to the east by Grove Boulevard and the Montopolis neighborhood, Texas State Highway 71 to the south, and Interstate 35 and South River City to the west. East Riverside Drive is a highly traveled roadway located a few minutes from Downtown Austin, but was until recently a neglected area of Austin. In addition to being a primary route between Downtown Austin and the Austin Bergstrom International Airport, the City of Austin has deemed it an important corridor for development. Recently there has been significant interest in the redevelopment of several large properties in the area.

Albert Sidney Johnston is a memorial statue of General Albert Sidney Johnston by German American sculptor Elisabet Ney. The piece is a life-size recumbent male figure rendered in marble sculpture. It depicts the General at the time of his death in the Battle of Shiloh during the American Civil War. Completed in 1903, the piece resides atop Johnston's tomb in the Texas State Cemetery in Austin, Texas, where it was installed in 1905.

Anderson Stadium, also known as Yellow Jacket Stadium, is a historic football and track and field facility in East Austin, Texas. The stadium was built in 1953 as the football facility on what was then the campus of L.C. Anderson High School, Austin's only public high school open to African Americans under racial segregation. Closed in 1971 as part of a school integration plan and restored in the 1990s, Anderson Stadium was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2022.
