Jesuit High School (Sacramento)

Rio Americano High School, colloquially known as Rio, is a public high school in Arden-Arcade, California, just outside Sacramento, serving students in grades 9 through 12 as part of the San Juan Unified School District. Rio Americano students come from the surrounding areas of Arden Park, Arden Oaks, Sierra Oaks, Fair Oaks, Carmichael, Gold River, and to a much lesser extent, the La Sierra community. In recent years, more students have been transferring from other districts and areas, partly due to the shift of Sacramento High School to a charter school. Rio's two rival schools are Jesuit High School and El Camino Fundamental High School because of the schools' close proximity. As of the 2019–20 school year, the school had an enrollment of 1,953 students. Cliff Kelly is the principal. Christopher Hauger, Jennifer Dalton and Robert Kerr are the vice principals.

Butterfield is a side platformed Sacramento RT light rail station in La Riviera, California, United States. The station was opened on September 5, 1987, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Gold Line. The station is located at the intersection of Folsom Boulevard and Butterfield Way just northeast of Highway 50. From its opening through the opening of the Mather Field/Mills station September 6, 1998, this served as the eastern terminus of the original RT light rail alignment (the Watt/I-80–Downtown–Butterfield line).

The population was 10,802 at the 2010 census, up from 10,273 at the 2000 census. La Riviera is a primarily residential neighborhood located between the American River on the North side and Highway 50 on the southern border.

Tiber is a side platformed Sacramento RT light rail station in La Riviera, California, United States. The station was opened on September 5, 1987, and is operated by the Sacramento Regional Transit District. It is served by the Gold Line. The station is located just west of Tiber Drive on Folsom Boulevard, north of Highway 50.

KYDS is a Sacramento, California FM radio station with the frequency 91.5 MHz. It is maintained at El Camino Fundamental High School, and select students from the school are allowed to participate in its operation. The original inception of KYDS was in 1976, when it broadcast only in the school cafeteria during lunch hour. KYDS originally received its FCC broadcast license in 1978 as one of the last Class "D" licensed FM stations in the country. The station went on the air with 10 watts of power (transmitter power output, not effective radiated power), into a 4-bay antenna and broadcast a monaural signal that effectively covered a 5-mile radius. Do to the COVID-19 pandemic and a campaign to modernize, the station now broadcasts on the internet on KYDS.rocks

El Camino Fundamental High School is a public high school in Arden-Arcade, California, near Sacramento. It is part of the San Juan Unified School District. Built in 1951 as El Camino High School, "Fundamental" was added to the name in the late 1970s to signify the school's intention to focus upon basic (fundamental) characteristics of successful schools, in particular a return to a strong disciplinary emphasis, a stripped-down college preparatory curriculum, and a contract-supported, enroll-through-application-only process. Academically, as measured by their Academic Performance Index, El Camino finally broke the important "800" barrier in 2009 after two years of changes implemented by its former principal, Mike Stockdale. El Camino has continually met the requirements of the Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP) outlined under No Child Left Behind mandates, since their inception. El Camino has, for over 20 years, participated with the state's "California Partnership Academy" program through the Eagle Polytechnic Institute (EPI) which focuses on engineering and manufacturing.

Edward Kelley School (formerly Brighton School) in Sacramento County, California is a building first constructed sometime in the 1850s. The school has been in a district since 1858. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1981.The school was originally constructed as a single classroom facility, with a small library, and two foyers. The classroom was later partitioned into three separate rooms to accommodate the growing needs of the developing community. An additional out-building was constructed in the rear of the property, which itself also dates to the 1850s. The school building was almost completely destroyed at least twice during separate fires, once in 1874 and again in 1878. It then caught fire again in 1891, damaging a portion of the structure, and the current facade is a result of the 1891 reconstruction. There is some confusion regarding if the reconstructed work truly represents the original design of the building. A sign above the entryway indicates that the structure was built in 1869.The building was originally located several miles to the west of its current location, in a part of Sacramento, California once known as Brighton, but is now generally known as East Sacramento, near the location of California State University, Sacramento. In 1924 the school was moved to its current location in what today is known as the unincorporated community of Rosemont, California. A year later the school's name was changed from Brighton School to Edward Kelley School, in honor of the person who had donated the land on which the school now stands. Edward Kelley School is still in use today, primarily as a pre-school. It is the oldest continuously-operating schoolhouse in Sacramento County.

The station is located near the intersection of Starfire Drive on Folsom Boulevard, south of Highway 50.

The population was 92,186 at the 2010 census, making it the second most populous census-designated place in California. It is east of the city of Sacramento and west of the community of Carmichael. Arden-Arcade is a principal locality of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville Metropolitan Statistical Area.

Rosemont is a census-designated place (CDP) in Sacramento County, California, United States. It is part of the Sacramento–Arden-Arcade–Roseville metropolitan area. The population rose to 23,510 at the 2020 census. It was 22,681 at the 2010 census, down from 22,904 at the 2000 census.
