Timbersbrook is a small village in the town parish of Congleton, Cheshire, England.

The Cloud or Bosley Cloud is a prominent hill on the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire a couple of miles west of the Peak District National Park boundary. At 343 metres (1,125 ft) in height, it is one of the highest hills in the area. Its heather-covered summit plateau is crowned by a trig point from which there are extensive views over Congleton, Biddulph, Macclesfield, Holmes Chapel and the Greater Manchester area. The Cloud is at the northern apex of a triangle formed by the broken ridge which runs along the border between Cheshire and Staffordshire and the hills stretching south through Biddulph Moor into Staffordshire. To its north, the River Dane wraps around its lower slopes whilst the A523 road runs to its east through the village of Bosley in Southeast Cheshire.

The Bridestones is a chambered cairn, near Congleton, Cheshire, England, that was constructed in the Neolithic period about 3500–2400 BC. It was described in 1764 as being 120 yards (110 m) long and 12 yards (11 m) wide, containing three separate compartments, of which only one remains today. The remaining compartment is 6 metres (20 ft) long by 2.7 metres (8.9 ft) wide, and consists of vertical stone slabs, divided by a now-broken cross slab. The cairn originally had a stone circle surrounding it, with four portal stones; two of these portal stones still remain. The site is protected as a scheduled ancient monument.

Buglawton Hall is a former country house, later a school, to the northeast of Buglawton, a suburb of Congleton, Cheshire, England.

Bosley railway station served the village of Bosley, Cheshire. The station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway in September 1849 as part of the Churnet Valley line.The station was some distance from the village, to which it was linked by a footpath. To travel between the village and the station by road was a much longer journey. The main customer of the station was the corn mill belonging to Francis R Thompstone & Sons Ltd which was situated next to the station. Thompstones also had their own 2 ft 6 in (762 mm) tramway which ran for 0.75 miles (1.21 km) from the mill to the Macclesfield Canal and was used for transporting corn from the canal to the mill. The tramway opened in 1887 and closed around 1925. Remains of the track can still just be seen in a shallow cutting through woodland, leading to the old transhipment dock, just below Bosley bottom lock.Bosley station remained open until passenger services were withdrawn from the northern end of the Churnet valley line (North Rode – Leek) in 1960. Freight services lasted until 1964 when they too were withdrawn and the track lifted.Today, the station remains as a private residence and the church near it still remains active. The trackbed has been built on by industrial buildings. The trackbed can be traced on a map to Leek and Macclesfield.

Bosley Lock Flight (grid reference SJ904662) is a flight of twelve canal locks, situated on the Macclesfield Canal at Bosley, near Macclesfield, Cheshire, England. The locks are substantially built with stone blocks, and unusually for narrow locks have mitre gates at both ends. They were each built with a side pond, which enabled some of the water to be re-used during a filling and emptying cycle. The side ponds have been disused for many years, but there are plans to reinstate one of them for demonstration purposes.

North Rode is a small village and civil parish in the unitary authority of Cheshire East and the ceremonial county of Cheshire, England. According to the 2001 census, the population of the entire civil parish was 178.

St Michael's Church is in Church Lane, North Rode, Cheshire, England. It is an active Anglican parish church in the deanery of Macclesfield, the archdeaconry of Macclesfield, and the diocese of Chester. Its benefice is combined with those of St Mary the Virgin, Bosley, St Saviour, Wildboarclough, and St Michael, Wincle. The church is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade II listed building. The authors of the Buildings of England series describe it as "a charming estate church".

North Rode railway station originally North Rode junction served the village of North Rode, Cheshire. The station was opened by the North Staffordshire Railway (NSR) on 18 June 1849 and formed the junction of the Churnet Valley Line from the main NSR line between Stoke-on-Trent and Macclesfield.The station was some distance from the village and traffic was sparse however the station remained open until 1962 when it closed completely, passenger traffic between North Rode and Leek having been withdrawn in 1960.

Bosley is a village and civil parish in Cheshire, England. At the 2001 census, it had a population of 406. The village is on the A523 road near to where it intersects the A54, about six miles south of Macclesfield. It is the site of Bosley Reservoir. The Macclesfield Canal runs through the parish. All its locks are in this section, including the noted Bosley Lock Flight. The village is immediately to the north of the Staffordshire border, close to the Peak District National Park. Arthur Herbert Procter, Victoria Cross recipient, was parish vicar of Bosley from 1931 to 1933.The village's tug of war team, formed in 1947, were world champions in 1975 and 1976.
