Boyce is an unincorporated community in South Fayette and Upper St. Clair townships, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. Boyce is located along Chartiers Run, 10.5 miles (16.9 km) southwest of downtown Pittsburgh.

Boyce is a disused train station located at the junction of Boyce Road and the tracks of the Chartiers Branch in Upper St. Clair, Pennsylvania, United States. It was built in 1900, and housed not only the rail operations but a post office and general store for the small community it served. After falling vacant when traffic on the line declined and the rise of the automobile made the surrounding less dependent on the commercial operations and passenger rail service, it was restored in 1980. It is the only intact example of a rail station in the Pittsburgh area that served as a local commercial center. In 1982 it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Boyce Station.

Lawrence is a census-designated place located in Cecil Township, Washington County in the state of Pennsylvania. The community is a Pittsburgh suburb located in northern Washington County near the Allegheny County line. As of the 2010 census the population was 540 residents.

St. Clair Township, Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, was one of the original townships created with the incorporation of Allegheny County in 1788. The township was named after Arthur St. Clair, an American Revolutionary War general and president of the Continental Congress in 1787. The township extended from the Ohio and Monongahela rivers to the southern county line. It was bounded on the west by Chartiers Creek and on the east partially by Streets Run. The township was subsequently divided between the northern part, Lower St. Clair Township, and the southern part, Upper St. Clair Township. The "upper" and "lower" referred to the elevation, as Lower St. Clair bordered on the river, the lowest elevation, and Upper St. Clair extended into the South Hills of Pittsburgh. The original Lower St. Clair Township consisted of the present-day neighborhoods of the City of Pittsburgh south of the Monongahela and Ohio, and all or parts of Green Tree, Carnegie, Baldwin, Bridgeville, Dormont, Mount Lebanon and other boroughs and townships in the South Hills. The township was subdivided several times, and today exists only as the neighborhood of St. Clair in the City of Pittsburgh. Upper St. Clair Township, subdivided many times, still exists in the South Hills of Pittsburgh.

Bridgeville is a borough in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 4,804 at the 2020 census. It is a residential suburb of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area.

Upper St. Clair is a township with home rule status in southern Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, United States, located approximately 8 miles (13 km) south of Downtown Pittsburgh. It is known for being an affluent suburb with a nationally recognized school district. As of the 2010 census, the township population was 19,229. Around 9% of the township's area is dedicated to 14 parks and multiple fields, totaling approximately 733 acres. The township has six borders with neighboring communities, including South Fayette Township to the west, Bridgeville to the northwest, Scott Township and Mt. Lebanon to the north, Bethel Park to the east, and Peters Township in Washington County to the south.

Pittsburgh Youth Ballet is an American non-profit organization previously run by former Pittsburgh Ballet Theater ballerina Jean Gedeon. The School was founded in 1983, while the company was established in 1990. PYB alumnae have performed with the New York City Ballet and other professional dance companies.In 2019, the Youth Pittsburgh Ballet changed its name to Texture Ballet School and is under the direction of Alan Obuzor.

The Upper St Clair School District is a public school district serving the Pittsburgh suburb of Upper St. Clair Township, Pennsylvania. The district encompasses approximately 10 square miles. Upper Saint Clair School District features three elementary schools for grades K–4: Albert F. Baker Elementary, Dwight D. Eisenhower Elementary, and Carl R. Streams Elementary. The school district also includes two middle schools, Fort Couch Middle School and Boyce Middle School. Boyce Middle School contains both 5th- and 6th-level students. Fort Couch Middle School contains grades 7th and 8th grades, and is the oldest running school of the school district. According to 2000 census data, it serves a resident population of 20,053.

The Fulton Log House in Upper St. Clair Township, Pennsylvania, was built circa 1830. The log house was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on December 6, 1975.Alexander Gilfillan settled in Upper St. Clair Township in the late 1760s and eventually owned 413 acres. About 1830, he or his son, John, built houses for his workers including four or five log houses, with only one surviving to the present. This house remained in the Gilfillan Family until 1899. James E. and Emily Fulton bought the house in 1923 as a summer home. Their son James Grove Fulton was a lifelong bachelor and served in the U.S. Congress from 1945 to 1971. His estate sold the house to Upper St. Clair Township in 1972. The 1830 Log House Association restored the house and now uses it for educational purposes.
