Arab al-Fuqara (Arabic: عرب الفقراء) was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 10, 1948. At that time, the land records of the village consisted of a total area of 2,714 dunams, of which 2,513 were owned by Jews, 15 owned by Arabs, and the remaining 186 dunams being public lands.

Arab Zahrat al-Dumayri was a Palestinian Arab village in the Haifa Subdistrict. It was depopulated during the 1947–1948 Civil War in Mandatory Palestine on April 10, 1948. It was located 40 km south of Haifa.

Hadera Ma'arav (West) railway station (Hebrew: תחנת הרכבת חדרה מערב, Tahanat HaRakevet Hadera Ma'arav) is an Israel Railways passenger station and freight terminal located in the city of Hadera. Giv'at Olga (Hebrew: גבעת אולגה, lit. 'Olga's Hill') is a suburb of the Israeli city of Hadera. Giv'at Olga is bordered on the west by the coastal strip of the Mediterranean Sea, on the east stretches Highway 2, the new Mall Hof Village, and the Hadera West train station. The northern border of the neighborhood is Hadera River Park, and its southern border is Hasharon Park, Ein Hayam, another suburb of Hadera West, and the entrance to Tel Gador Nature Reservation and its beaches.

Orot Rabin (Hebrew: אורות רבין, lit. Rabin Lights) is a power station located on the Mediterranean coast in Hadera, Israel which is owned and operated by the Israel Electric Corporation (IEC). As of 2022 it is Israel’s largest power station and contains six thermal generation units capable of producing a total of 2.59GW of electricity using coal as the primary fuel. In addition, under construction at the site are two single-shaft natural gas-powered combined-cycle units capable of generating 630 MW each. The older, unmodernised four of its total six coal-fuelled units will be closed by mid-2022 in order to eliminate this major source of air pollution in the country.

HaSharon Park (פארק השרון) is an Israeli national park located alongside Highway 4 with the entrance to it going through the Hadera West Railway Station.

Hadera (Hebrew: חֲדֵרָה [χadeˈʁa]) is a city located in the Haifa District of Israel, in the northern Sharon region, approximately 45 kilometers (28 miles) from the major cities of Tel Aviv and Haifa. The city is located along 7 km (5 mi) of the Israeli Mediterranean Coastal Plain. The city's population includes a high proportion of immigrants arriving since 1990, notably from Ethiopia and the former Soviet Union. In 2021 it had a population of 100,631.Hadera was established in 1891 as a farming colony by members of the Zionist group, Hovevei Zion, from Lithuania and Latvia. By 1948, it was a regional center with a population of 11,800. In 1952, Hadera was declared a city, with jurisdiction over an area of 53,000 dunams.

On 27 March 2022, two Islamic State gunmen opened fire at a bus stop in Hadera, Israel, killing two people and injuring twelve.The attack came as Israel held the Negev Summit, a conference between Israeli authorities and representatives of Egypt, Bahrain, Morocco, and the United Arab Emirates (the latter three had signed the Abraham Accords) were meeting in Sde Boker coinciding with a visit to Israel by United States secretary of state Antony Blinken.

The Hadera bus station suicide bombing was a 1994 Hamas suicide attack on a passenger bus departing from the central bus station in Hadera for Tel Aviv, Israel. As a result, five civilians were killed and 30 injured. The attack came exactly one week after another Hamas attack, the Afula Bus suicide bombing. Both attacks were motivated officially by Hamas as retribution for the Cave of the Patriarchs massacre conducted against Muslim worshippers in February by Baruch Goldstein. The attack took place on the Israeli Fallen Soldiers and Victims of Terrorism Remembrance Day. Hamas bombmaker Yahya Ayyash built a bomb using two kilograms of home-made acetone peroxide explosive. Twenty-one-year-old Amar Salah Diab Amarna, a native of Ya'bad in the West Bank, was selected for the mission.On the morning of April 13, 1994, Amarna boarded the 9:30 am bus to Tel Aviv. At 9:40 am, as the bus was pulling out of the station, Amarna placed the bag containing the bomb on the floor of the bus, "where shrapnel could rip through vital arteries in the groin area," and detonated it.As Israeli rescue workers converged on the scene of the explosion, a second pipe bomb exploded. Hamas later claimed responsibility for the attack.

On Thursday, January 17, 2002 a Palestinian terrorist, 24-year-old Abdul Salaam Sadek Hassouneh, killed six people and wounded 33 at a bat mitzvah celebration in Hadera, Israel.
