Ganei Tikva

Gat Rimon (Hebrew: גַּת רִמּוֹן, lit. Pomegranate press) is a moshav in central Israel. Located in the Ono Valley in the Sharon plain between Ganei Tikva and Petah Tikva, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 326.

Savyon (Hebrew: סַבְיוֹן) is an affluent local council in the Central District of Israel, bordering the cities of Kiryat Ono and Yehud. Ranked 10/10 on the Israeli socio-economic scale, it is one of the wealthiest municipalities in Israel. In 2019 it had a population of 4,036.

Kfar Ma'as (Hebrew: כְּפַר מַעַשׂ, lit. Deed Village) is a moshav in central Israel. Located to the south of Petah Tikva on the edge of the Ono Valley, it falls under the jurisdiction of Drom HaSharon Regional Council. In 2019 it had a population of 864.

Ono Academic College (in Hebrew: הקריה האקדמית אונו) is a private college located in Kiryat Ono, Israel. With over 14,000 students, the college is among Israel's fastest growing institutions of higher education. OAC"s stated mission is to decrease economic and cultural gaps in Israeli society. As a result, populations that are otherwise underrepresented in Israeli higher education, including Druze, Bedouin, Palestinians, Ethiopian-Israelis, ultra-Orthodox Jews, and students with special needs, gravitate to OAC.

Kiryat Ono (Hebrew: קִרְיַת אוֹנוֹ) is a city in the Tel Aviv District of Israel. It is located 11 kilometres (6.8 mi) east of Tel Aviv. In 2019 it had a population of 40,409.Modern Kiryat Ono is not to be confused with the biblical Ono, which was located in the area that is now Or Yehuda.

Ganei Yehuda (Hebrew: גני יהודה) was a moshav founded in 1950 in the Ono Valley (בקעת אונו‎), adjacent to the cities of Yehud and Kiryat Ono. Ganei Yehuda was officially merged with Savyon in 2003.The moshav was named "Ganei Yehuda" after the biblical person Judah whom was the fourth son of Jacob and Leah and the founder of the Israelite Tribe of Judah. Both Savyon and Ganei Yehuda are located on the land of the Palestinian village of Al-'Abbasiyya (formerly Al-Yahudiyya), which became depopulated in the 1948 Arab–Israeli War.

Old Hapoel Ground, Petah Tikva (Hebrew: מגרש הפועל פתח תקווה הישן) was a football ground in Petah Tikva, at the corner of Jewish National Fund and Schapira streets. The ground was in use between 1935 and 1940, when the team moved to their new ground

The name Aphek or Aphec refers to one or several locations mentioned by the Hebrew Bible as the scenes of a number of battles between the Israelites and the Arameans or Philistines: Most famously, a town near which one or more rulers of Damascus named Ben-hadad were defeated by the Israelites and in which the Damascene king and his surviving soldiers found a safe place of retreat (1 Kings 20:26-30; 2 Kings 13:17, 24-25). Just before his death, the prophet Elisha predicted:"The arrow of the Lord’s deliverance and the arrow of deliverance from Syria; for you must strike the Syrians at Aphek till you have destroyed them."A place at which the Bible states that the Philistines had encamped, while the Israelites pitched in Eben-Ezer, before the Battle of Aphek in which the sons of Eli were killed (I Samuel 4:1–ff.) A city of the Tribe of Issachar, near to Jezreel, in the north of the Sharon plain. The scene, according to the Bible; of another encampment of the Philistines, which led to the defeat and death of Saul. Aphik, a city of the tribe of Asher, identified as either Tel Afek near Haifa, or Afqa in Lebanon.

The Petah Tikva Subdistrict is one of Israel's subdistricts in the Central District. The principal city of this subdistrict, as the name implies, is Petah Tikva.

The Petah Tikva Museum of Art is an art museum in Arlozorov Street, Petah Tikva, Israel.

The Lomza Yeshiva (Hebrew: ישיבת לומזה) was an Orthodox Jewish yeshiva in Łomża, Poland, founded by Rabbi Eliezer Bentzion Shulevitz in 1883. Rabbi Yechiel Mordechai Gordon served as the yeshiva's rosh yeshiva for many years, and Rabbi Moshe Rosenstain served as the mashgiach. A branch of the yeshiva was established in Petach Tikvah, Palestine in 1926, where Rabbi Reuven Katz served as co-rosh yeshiva alongside Rabbi Gordon.
