Ōizumigakuenchō

Ōizumi Junction (大泉ジャンクション, Ōizumi Jankushon) is a road interchange located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan.

Ōizumi-Chūō Park (大泉中央公園, Ōizumi-Chūō Kōen) is a public park in Nerima Ward, Tokyo, Japan.

Camp Asaka is a base of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It lies in four municipalities: Nerima, Tokyo; Asaka, Saitama; Wako, Saitama; and Niiza, Saitama. It serves as the headquarters of the Eastern Army. The camp was originally the site of a golf course from 1930 to 1940. It served as the site of the Imperial Japanese Army Junior Military Academy from 1941 to 1945, and as a United States Army camp (South Camp Drake) from 1945 to 1960, during which time it housed part of the 1st Cavalry Division. The Asaka Shooting Range was a firing range constructed on the site for the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, and hosted pistol and rifle shooting and the shooting part of the modern pentathlon. It was the temporary shooting venue for the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Ōizumi-gakuen Station (大泉学園駅, Ōizumi-gakuen-eki) is a railway station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Seibu Railway.

Higashiōizumi (東大泉) is a district of Nerima, Tokyo, Japan, consisting of 1-chōme to 7-chōme. The district has an area of 2.433 km² as of October 10, 2005, and a population of 32,634 as of March 1, 2007. Its postal code is 178-0063. Located in the western part of Nerima, Higashiōizumi borders Ōizumimachi, Ōizumigakuenchō and Nishiōizumi on the north, Shakujiidai on the south, Miharadai and Shakujiimachi on the east, and Minamiōizumi on the west. Ōizumi-gakuen Station is situated in this district, around which a commercial and industrial neighborhood has flourished. On the other hand, Higashiōizumi 3-chōme and other areas nearby are known as well-designed, upper-class residential neighborhoods with a number of large stately homes.

Makino Memorial Garden (牧野記念庭園, Makino Kinen Teien) is located in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan and dedicated to the life and works of Makino Tomitarō, "Father of Japanese Botany".

Wakō (和光市, Wakō-shi) is a city located in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. As of 1 January 2021, the city had an estimated population of 84,161 in 42,434 households and a population density of 7600 persons per km². The total area of the city is 11.04 square kilometres (4.26 sq mi).

Hōya Station (保谷駅, Hōya-eki) is a passenger railway station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line located in the city of Nishitōkyō, Tokyo, Japan, operated by the private railway operator Seibu Railway.

Hōya (保谷市, Hoya-shi) was a city located in the western portion of Tokyo Metropolis, Japan. At the time of its merger, the city had an estimated population of 102,720 and a density of 11,350 persons per km2. The total area was 9.05 km2. The area of modern Hōya was an agricultural region and agricultural products transshipment center for Edo in the premodern period, and was part of ancient Musashi Province. After the Meiji Restoration it came under the jurisdiction of the short-lived prefectures of Shinagawa (1868), Irima (1871), Kumagaya (1873) and Saitama (1876). On April 1, 1889, the villages of Kamihōya, Shimohōya, and Hōya-shinden merged to form the village of Hoya within Niikura District, then a portion of Saitama Prefecture. The district merged with Kitaadachi District in 1896, but subsequently was transferred to the administrative control of Tokyo Metropolis on April 1, 1907. Hōya was connected to central Tokyo by train from 1915. Hoya was elevated to town status in 1940, and to city status in 1967. On January 21, 2001, Hōya was merged with the neighboring city of Tanashi to create the city of Nishi-Tōkyō, and Hōya thus no longer exists as an independent municipality.

Tokio Marine Nichido Shakujii Gymnasium is an arena in Nerima, Tokyo, Japan. It is the home arena of the Tokio Marine Nichido Big Blue of the B.League, Japan's professional basketball league.

RIKEN Brain Science Institute (RIKEN-BSI) was established in 1997 as part of RIKEN, focusing on neuroscience research located in Wakō city, Saitama Prefecture in the greater Tokyo area, Japan. In 2018 RIKEN-BSI has been reorganized as RIKEN Center for Brain Science, a new center under RIKEN. Yasushi Miyashita became the first Director of RIKEN-CBS.The current director is Ryoichiro Kageyama (2021-).
