Saint-Amans-Valtoret (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃.t‿amɑ̃(s) valtɔʁɛ]; Occitan: Sant Amanç de Val Toret) is a commune in the Tarn department and Occitanie region of southern France.

Saint-Amans-Soult (French pronunciation: ​[sɛ̃t‿amɑ̃ sult]; Languedocien: Sant Amanç de Solt) is a commune in the Tarn department in southern France. The commune was formerly called Saint-Amans-la-Bastide. It was renamed in 1851, after Marshal Jean-de-Dieu Soult, who was born there in 1769. Marshal-General Soult, under the Emperor Napoleon, was later named as Duke of Dalmatia, and following the Emperor's permanent exile to St. Helena, enjoyed a long and fruitful career as a politician and diplomant under several early 19th century royalist and republican regimes in France. His son, Napoleon H. de Soult, arranged for the posthumous publication of his father's Memoires after 1851.

Pont-de-Larn (French pronunciation: ​[pɔ̃ də laʁn]; Occitan: Lo Pont de L'Arn) is a commune in the Tarn department in southern France. It is 2 kilometers from Mazamet in the Occitanie region. The town is situated on the river Arn (a tributary of the Thoré) in the Haut-Languedoc Regional Nature Park at the foot of the Montagne Noire. On the sunny side of the Thoré valley, Pont-de-Larn offers residents and guests the ambience of a "country town". There are guest houses and lodges in the vicinity, and marked hiking trails. There is also a tennis club, stadiums, bowling and one of the oldest golf courses in the region, de la Barouge. The village offers a wide selection of shops, restaurants and services. Pont-de-Larn can be the starting point for excursions to the Sidobre, the valley of the Orb and the Caroux Lacaune.

Pic de Nore transmitter is a facility for FM/TV transmission situated on the mountain of same name at 43°25'29"N 2°27'47"E, in the Montagne Noire, on the border of the Aude and Tarn departments, near to the Parc naturel régional du Haut-Languedoc in southern France. It uses a 102 metres tall concrete tower. This tower replaces the old tower, which was situated on the roof of the transmitter building and whose pinnacle was torn down by a storm on December 2, 1976. The stump of the old tower still exists and is today used for mobile phone transmission.
