L'Auberge du Pont de Collonges, also known as Paul Bocuse or Bocuse, is a restaurant in Collonges-au-Mont-d'Or near Lyon, France. The chef was Paul Bocuse.Chef Paul Bocuse died on 20 January 2018 in the same room above his restaurant in which he was born in 1926.The restaurant lost its 3-star rating in the 2020 Michelin Guide after holding it for a record 55 years (since 1965).

Ehrmann is the founder and CEO of Groupe Serveur and Artprice.com, both of which are headquartered at the Abode.The artwork is based around the transformation of the 17th century post house into a replica (post-)war zone, which contrasts with the peaceful village a few kilometers up the Saône river from Lyon. The mayor of the town said of the house: "It's humanly intolerable, ugly, dramatic, with its images of destruction. Whatever you think, for me it's not art, it's a provocation."The Abode of Chaos has been the subject of several lawsuits, and – in 2009 – France's highest court, the Court of Cassation, ruled that Ehrmann would have to revert his home to its pre-Abode of Chaos state. In 2013, the Grenoble Court of Appeals imposed a fine for continued non-compliance of €750 per day. The Court of Cassation intervened in the case again in 2014 by reversing the lower court's decision, ruling that Erhmann should have been assisted by counsel or his wife at the 2013 hearing because of his manic-depressive condition. In 2016, Ehrmann claimed "absolute victory" on his blog because of the passage of the law on freedom of creation, architecture and patrimony.

The Île Barbe is an island situated in the middle of the Saône, in the 9th arrondissement de Lyon, the quartier Saint-Rambert-l'Île-Barbe (a former-commune annexed in 1963). Its name comes from the Latin insula barbara, "Barbarians' Island", suggesting that it was one of the last locales to be occupied (two centuries after the banks of the Saône at the foot of the hill of Fourvière).

The Abbey of Île Barbe was an Abbey built very early in the Christian era, on Île Barbe, outside of Lyon, France.The abbey was founded on the island in the 5th century and was the first monastic establishment in the Lyon region and one of the oldest in Gaul. Charlemagne endowed it with a beautiful library.The monastery, was however looted several times (in 676, and in 725 by the Saracens and in 937 by Hongrois). The abbey adopted the Rule of St. Benedict in the 9th century and gradually gained some wealth. In 816, Louis the Pious granted the monastery the right at any time of three ships on the Saone, the Rhone and the Doubs péages free of taxes; a decree of immunity and protection to monastère which was confirmed by Charles the Bald in 614. In the early 16th century, the abbey came under the commendatory of the family of Albon. In 1549, pope Paul III it is secularized and the monks became canons (collegiate). In 1562, she was devastated and burned by the Protestant troops of Baron Adrets. The chapter of canons was finally removed in 1741, and installs a facility for elderly or infirm priests, which in turn is removed in 1783. During the Revolution, at which point everything was sold and dispersed.
