The Alamo Colleges District (previously the Alamo Community College District, or ACCD, and The Alamo Colleges) is a network of five community colleges in San Antonio and Universal City, Texas, and serving the Greater San Antonio metropolitan area. The district was founded in 1945 as the San Antonio Union Junior College District before adopting the Alamo name in 1982.

KZAI is owned by the Educational Media Foundation.Originally a station in the Corpus Christi area, the station moved in 2021 as part of a facilities shuffle that moved a third EMF signal into San Antonio (alongside existing K-Love outlet KZLV and rimshot Air1 outlet KZAR). The former 103.7 facilities and KXAI call sign were moved to another license, leaving Air1 programming seamlessly available to Corpus Christi-area listeners.

Prospect Hill Missionary Baptist Church (Prospect Hill Baptist Church) is a historic Baptist church building at 1601 Buena Vista in San Antonio, Texas. The Beaux Arts style building was constructed in 1911 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1986.

Milam Park, formerly Milam Square, is an urban park located in downtown San Antonio, Texas, United States. Originally used as a burial ground, the park was extablished in 1884. It is named after Benjamin Milam, whose remains are interred under a monument on the west end of the park.

Fox Technical High School is a public high school located in central San Antonio, Texas (USA) and classified as a 4A school by the UIL. This school is one of twelve schools in the San Antonio Independent School District. In 2015, the school was rated "Met Standard" by the Texas Education Agency.

VIA Metropolitan Transit (or VIA) is the mass transit agency serving San Antonio, Texas, United States, and its surrounding municipalities. It began operation in 1978 as a successor to the San Antonio Transit System. In addition to the city of San Antonio, VIA serves many other Bexar County municipalities, including Alamo Heights, Balcones Heights, Castle Hills, Converse, Kirby, Leon Valley, Olmos Park, Shavano Park, and Terrell Hills. While VIA does not directly serve some Bexar County municipalities such as Hill Country Village, Hollywood Park, Live Oak, Selma, Schertz, Universal City and Windcrest, many of them are within driving proximity of outlying park and ride facilities.

The Sporting District in the U.S. city of San Antonio, Texas was a red-light district in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. It was established by the city council to manage prostitution in the city. For a time it was one of the nation's largest vice districts with venues ranging from brothels to gambling halls. The area was officially shut down in 1941 resulting from the mobilization for World War II. The term sporting was a common 19th-century euphemism for gambling and/or prostitution. Many communities around the U.S. used this term; brothels were often referred to as sporting houses.

The Frost Tower is a 23-story skyscraper in San Antonio, Texas, USA. It opened in 2019 at a cost of $142 million and is the first new office tower built in downtown San Antonio since 1989 when Weston Centre was built. Frost Tower replaced the old Frost Bank Tower as the headquarters of the eponymously named Frost Bank when it opened in 2019.

Artpace is a non-profit contemporary art gallery located in San Antonio, Texas, United States, founded by Linda Pace. Artpace opened its doors in 1995, and focuses on the artistic process. Occupying the space of a former Hudson automobile dealership, Artpace uses its industrial space as the setting for its programs and events.

Market Square is a three-block outdoor plaza lined with shops, and restaurants in downtown San Antonio, Texas. Market Square is the largest Mexican market in the United States. The "El Mercado" section has 32 specialty shops and the "Farmer's Market Plaza" section has 80. "Mi Tierra Cafe Y Panaderia" and "La Margarita Mexican Restaurant & Oyster Bar" are the major eateries, but snack and specialty foods are available at other shops. Market Square is the site of Cinco de Mayo in central San Antonio and many other fiestas throughout the year.The "El Mercado" building was built as a Works Progress Administration project during 1938-1939 after the existing municipal market house (known as the Giles building) was torn down. The new building was originally named the "Municipal Truck Market", but locals commonly called it the "Farmer's Market", as farmers sold their produce straight from their trucks inside the open air building. In 1975, the last produce was sold there, and the market house underwent renovation to convert it into an enclosed air-conditioned mercado.
