Mukilteo station is a train station serving the city of Mukilteo, Washington. It is owned by Sound Transit, who runs the N Line of the Sounder commuter rail service through the station from Everett to King Street Station in Seattle. The station includes a parking lot with 63 spaces, as well as connections to nearby Washington State Ferries, Community Transit, and Everett Transit service on State Route 525. Mukilteo station opened in 2008 with a single side platform, later supplemented with a second platform and pedestrian overpass in 2016.

The Mukilteo Light is an operational navigation aid located on the east side of Possession Sound at Mukilteo, Snohomish County, Washington, in the United States. It is owned and operated by the City of Mukilteo as part of Mukilteo Lighthouse Park. The lighthouse is listed on the Washington State Heritage Register and was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.

Mukilteo Lighthouse Park encompasses the lighthouse at the west end of the city of Mukilteo, Washington, and 12 acres (0.049 km2) south of it. The property is west and south of the Washington State Ferries terminal with ferry service to Clinton, Whidbey Island, and is bordered on the south and east by the BNSF Railway (formerly the Burlington Northern Railroad) mainline. Whidbey Island lies across a narrow portion of Possession Sound and is easily visible from the shore. This park was formerly known as Mukilteo State Park. The lighthouse was deeded to the City of Mukilteo in 2001, and Washington State Parks deeded the parklands to the City in 2003. In 2004, the City adopted a Lighthouse Park Master Plan to make physical site improvements in four phases. Phases I and II have been completed, adding amenities and parking. The artwork by Joe Gobin and James Madison, Tulalip Tribal carvers, indicates the significance of this site to many tribes, especially the Tulalip Tribes of Snohomish County, who lived at this location for over 1,000 years until European-American occupation in the mid-nineteenth century. The 1855 Point Elliott Treaty was signed in the area and three tribes were forced to re-settle at Tulalip Bay across Port Gardner Bay. Lighthouse Park is also significant as Captain George Vancouver's naturalist landed a small craft on the shoreline on May 31, 1792. Vancouver named the area Rose Point, a name today reflected in that of the nearby community of Rosehill. Mukilteo Lighthouse Park has about 1,500 feet (460 m) of sandy beach and includes a public boat launch, a lighthouse and a shoreline walkway. It is one of the most easily accessed shorelines in urban Snohomish County, especially for those needing ADA access.

The Future of Flight Aviation Center, officially known as Boeing Future of Flight, is an aviation museum and education center located at the northwest corner of Paine Field in Mukilteo, Washington. It is the starting point for the Boeing Tour, a guided tour of a portion of the nearby Boeing Everett Factory in Everett, Washington. The 73,000-square-foot (6,800 m2) facility, owned by Snohomish County via Paine Field and operated by Boeing, opened in 2005 at a cost of $24 million; it is funded by a sales and use tax from the county via its public facilities district. The museum includes a 28,000-square-foot (2,600 m2) gallery containing static and interactive exhibits and displays as well as a 240-seat theater, café and shops.

The Boeing Everett Factory is an airplane assembly facility built by Boeing in Everett, Washington, United States. It sits at the northeast corner of Paine Field and includes the largest building in the world by volume at 13,385,378 m3 (472,370,319 cu ft) and covers 98.7 acres (39.9 ha). The entire complex spans both sides of State Route 526 (named the Boeing Freeway). The factory was built in 1967 for the Boeing 747 and has since been expanded several times to accommodate new airliners, including the 767, 777, and 787 programs.

Mukilteo ( MUK-əl-TEE-oh; Lushootseed: bək̓ʷəɬtiwʔ) is a city in Snohomish County, Washington, United States. It is located on Puget Sound between Edmonds and Everett, approximately 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. The city had a population of 20,254 at the 2010 census and an estimated 2019 population of 21,441. The current site of downtown Mukilteo (also named Old Town) has been inhabited by the Snohomish people for at least 1,000 years before present. The Treaty of Point Elliott was signed in Mukilteo in 1855, opening the region to American settlement. A new town was founded at Mukilteo and served as the provisional county seat of Snohomish County in early 1861. The area remained a trading post for loggers and was home to other industries, but was overshadowed by Everett and grew slowly. Mukilteo was used during World War II as an auxiliary fueling facility, due to its proximity to the newly built Snohomish County Airport (now Paine Field). Mukilteo was incorporated as a city in 1947 and saw new suburban development, which accelerated after the opening of the nearby Boeing Everett Factory in the late 1960s. The city annexed large suburban areas on the west side of Paine Field in the 1980s and 1990s, including Harbour Pointe and the State Route 525 corridor, while also revitalizing the Old Town area in the 2000s. Today, Mukilteo is a bedroom community with a small job base centered around manufacturing industries. It is also a major transportation hub, with connections to Whidbey Island via the Washington State Ferries system, Sounder commuter trains to Seattle, and public transit services to nearby cities. The city is recognized for its quality of life and is one of the most affluent in Washington state, with a high median income.

Seattle Paine Field International Airport (IATA: PAE, ICAO: KPAE, FAA LID: PAE), also known as Paine Field and Snohomish County Airport, is a commercial and general aviation airport serving the Seattle metropolitan area in the U.S. state of Washington. It is located in unincorporated Snohomish County, Washington, between the cities of Mukilteo and Everett, about 25 miles (40 km) north of Seattle. PAE covers 1,315 acres (2.05 sq mi; 5.32 km2) of land.The airport was built in 1936 by the Works Progress Administration and began commercial service in 1939. It was named for Topliff Olin Paine in 1941, shortly before the Army Air Corps began the occupation of Paine Field for military use. The airport briefly returned to civilian use in the late 1940s, before conversion into an air force base during the Korean War. In 1966, the Boeing Company selected Paine Field for the site of its Everett assembly plant as part of the Boeing 747 program. By the 1970s, the airport had grown into a hub for light aviation and manufacturing, lacking commercial service. The county government sought to begin commercial service at Paine Field as early as the 1980s but was halted by opposition from neighboring cities.In March 2019, Paine Field resumed commercial service at a newly constructed terminal. The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) National Plan of Integrated Airport Systems for 2023–2027 categorized it as a non-hub primary commercial service facility.

Kamiak High School is a public high school in Mukilteo, Washington, United States. It was the second high school in the Mukilteo School District when it opened on September 8, 1993. The first and only high school within Mukilteo city limits, it was built to accommodate the overflow population from the overcrowded Mariner High School in the neighboring city of Everett. Kamiak's campus features over 40 classrooms, a physical education complex with two separate gymnasiums and a weight room, a half-Olympic sized swimming pool complex, a Performing Arts Center (known as "The PAC"), a number of portables, six tennis courts, a softball field, baseball field, soccer field, football field, track facilities, and the school's East Campus, which houses science and math rooms as well as a third gymnasium (Multi-Purpose room) used as a secondary cafeteria.

The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum is a U.S.A. 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the display and preservation of rare military aircraft, tanks and other military equipment. The museum reopened on the Memorial Day Weekend 2023.On rotation in the three working hangars are military artifacts from the United States, Britain, Germany, Soviet Union and Japan. The Flying Heritage & Combat Armor Museum is housed in three working hangars on Seattle-Paine Field International Airport in Everett, WA. Mechanics are typically on-site Monday through Friday working on maintaining the technology to operating condition. The museum provides guided tours five days a week, hosts a variety of activities, features war conflict simulators, and possesses countless historical artifacts.

Mukilteo School District No. 6 is a public school district that mainly serves Mukilteo, Washington. The Mukilteo School District includes all of the city, but also a portion of south Everett, Lynnwood, and Edmonds. The district had more than 14,600 students in 2013–14 and a budget of approximately $147 million.Organized in 1878, the district has two high schools, one alternative high school, four middle schools, 12 elementary schools, and one kindergarten-only school. It also administers an Everett-based technical high school serving surrounding school districts. It is the sixth oldest district in the state.The school district had no high school until the opening of Mariner High School in 1970. Prior to that, students from tenth grade onwards had to attend Cascade High School or Everett High School in the neighboring Everett School District. While the lack of a high school led to attempts in 1916 and 1959 to merge the district into the Everett district, both attempts failed; the latter involved the passage of bonds to fund the district's share in the construction of Cascade.With the opening of Kamiak High School in 1993, the district switched from junior high to middle schools, adding two of the latter in the process. As a result, sixth grade was moved from elementary to middle school while ninth grade was moved from junior high to high school.The school district had a teachers' strike of 33 days in 1990, pushing the last day of school for the 1990–91 school year to July 2. This was resolved using collaborative bargaining. A three-year contract was signed and school councils were established to continue the process of collaboration.

USNS Sgt. George Peterson (T-AK-248) was a US Maritime Administration (MARCOM) C1-M-AV1 type coastal cargo ship, originally planned as an Alamosa-class cargo ship. The contract for building was canceled by the Navy in August 1945. The ship, however, was completed as SS Coastal Guide. She was later acquired by the US Army, in 1948, and renamed USAT Sgt. George Peterson. She was reacquired by the Navy, in 1950, and placed in service by the Military Sea Transportation Service (MSTS) as USNS Sgt. George Peterson (T-AK-248). She remained with the Navy until struck in 1966. She was sold in 1971.
