Mahalaxmi Racecourse

Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat is an open air laundry place in Mumbai, India. It is located at Mahalaxmi railway station in southern Mumbai, it is also accessible from the Jacob Circle monorail station. The washers, known as dhobis, work in the open to clean clothes and linens from Mumbai's hotels and hospitals. It was constructed in 1890.The phrase dhobi ghat is used all over India to refer to any place where many washers are present. Inspired by the Mumbai Dhobi Ghat (then Bombay), the British built Dhobi Ghat in Kolkata (then Calcutta) in 1902 and there are other dhobi ghat places all over southern Asia.

Masque is an Indian restaurant located in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It was founded by Prateek Sadhu and Aditi Dugar in 2016.Masque is best known for its 10-course tasting menu and is often counted among Asia's and India's best restaurants. In 2022, it was ranked #21 in the list of Asia's 50 Best Restaurants.

Namaste Tower is a 310 m (1,017 ft) tall skyscraper mega project in Mumbai, India. It would have been a mixed-use skyscraper with 63 floors that will house a 380-room W Hotel, office and retail space. It was designed by Atkins, Dubai. The design resembles the Namaste gesture: two wings of the hotel are clasped together like hands greeting. It would have been built in Lower Parel, Mumbai, on land previously owned by Ambika Mills. The land was acquired by the builders using redevelopment models.

Lokhandwala Minerva is a 79-floor supertall skyscraper under construction in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. It will have two towers of 79 floors, each of which will encompass parking floors from 4th to 13th, two triple-heighted levels of World Class Amenities from floors 14th to 19th, 5-heighted open-to-sky Podium Landscape Garden on 20th floor with 2 Banquet Halls through floors 20 to 24 and a service level on the 25th floor, residential floors from 26th to 76th, and two penthouses from floors 76 to 79. There will be a transfer girder on level 50 and a service level right above that on level 51, dividing the tower into two separate configurations: 3 BHKs below and 4 BHKs above.

Jacob Circle, officially known as Sant Gadge Maharaj Chowk, is a monorail station and the southernmost terminus of the Mumbai Monorail, serving the area of Mahalaxmi and Byculla in South Mumbai. It was inaugurated on 3 March 2019 by Piyush Goyal Railway Minister and Devendra Fadnavis the then Chief Minister of Maharashtra. The station is located in the Vicinity of Arthur Road Jail, it is in close proximity to Mahalaxmi railway station, Chinchpokli railway station and Byculla railway station, Mahalaxmi Racecourse. The Dagdi Chawl can be accessed through this station. St. Ignatius High School is the only school located in its vicinity along with Kasturbha Gandhi Hospital. It also gives connectivity to Haji Ali Dargah and Worli, Lala Lajpat Rai College, Hira Panna, NH.SRCC Hospital.

Lodha Bellissimo is a skyscraper located in Mumbai, India developed by Lodha Group of Mumbai. Construction started in 2006 and completed in 2012. Having 53 floors, it is 222 metres (728 ft) tall.

Agripada is an area in South Mumbai. It is located between Byculla (West) and Mumbai Central (East). This area is connected with the Central Railway as well as the Western Railway. Agripada is also notable for its YMCA which has a swimming pool and various indoor and outdoor sports facilities. A large number of schools, including municipal schools, convents, Marathi, Hindi and English medium schools are located in this area. Maratha Mandir is the nearest cinema hall. The other surrounding areas are Mumbai Central, Byculla, Nagpada, Madanpura and Mahalaxmi. Agripada also has a large number of mosques, of which Arab Masjid and Al-Madina Masjid are the most famous.

Kasturba Hospital is a government hospital situated at Chinchpokli in Mumbai. It is funded by the Municipal corporation of Greater Mumbai and is one of the centres for coronavirus testing in Mumbai.

The Mumbai Central Prison, also referred to as Arthur Road Jail, was built in 1926, and is Mumbai's largest and oldest prison. It houses most of the city's prisoners. It was declared a Central Jail in 1972. Although its name was changed to Mumbai Central Prison, it is still often referred to as Arthur Road Jail. The jail occupies 2 acres (0.81 ha) of land.

The Haji Ali Dargah is a mosque and dargah or the monument of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari located on an islet off the coast of Worli in the southern Mumbai. An exquisite example of Indo-Islamic Architecture, associated with legends about doomed lovers, the dargah contains the tomb of Haji Ali Shah Bukhari. Bukhari was a Sufi saint and a wealthy merchant from Uzbekistan. Near the heart of the city proper, the dargah is one of the most recognisable landmarks of Mumbai.

The Four Seasons Private Residences is a Residential skyscraper in the Worli district of Mumbai, India. Built between 2014 and 2021, the tower stands at 250 m (820 ft) tall with 55 floors and is the current 22nd tallest building in Mumbai as well as the 22nd tallest in India.

Bombay State was a large Indian state created at the time of India's Independence, with other regions being added to it in the succeeding years. Bombay Presidency (roughly equating to the present-day Indian state of Maharashtra, excluding South Maharashtra and Vidarbha) was merged with the princely states of Baroda, Western India and Gujarat (the present-day Indian state of Gujarat) and the Deccan States (which included parts of the present-day Indian states of Maharashtra and Karnataka). On 1 November 1956, Bombay State was re-organized under the States Reorganisation Act on linguistic lines, absorbing various territories including the Saurashtra and Kutch States, which ceased to exist. On 1 May 1960, Bombay State was dissolved and split on linguistic lines into the two states of Gujarat, with Gujarati speaking population and Maharashtra, with Marathi speaking population.
