Montauroux (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃toʁu]; Occitan: Montauron) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. Its neighbour town is the smaller, picturesque Callian, which can be seen across a small valley. In 2019, Montauroux had a population of 6,548.

The Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort is located at Tourrettes, Var, just southeast of Fayence, in the Provence region of France. The Bouge family owned the estate in the 18th century. Actor Sean Connery then bought the property comprising the château and its surrounding 266 hectares. He had it for 20 years before selling it to Dietmar Hopp in 1999. Hopp transformed the property into an exclusive golf resort with luxury properties, two championship golf courses and a world-class spa. It was ranked 5th in the CNN Money dream vacation home guide. The domain is 30–45 minute from Cannes, Nice, and St Tropez, and 1 hour drive from Monaco.

Tourrettes is one of a series of "perched villages" overlooking the plain between the southern Alps and the Esterel massif, which borders the sea between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. Tourrettes is popular with tourists. The village is located on the road to Mons, which later on joins the Route Napoléon (linking Nice to Grenoble through the Alps). In the recent years a high-standing golf resort has settled in Tourrettes, the Domaine de Terre Blanche. The aerodrome of Fayence-Tourrettes was one of the most active in Europe.

Fayence is one of a series of "perched villages" overlooking the plain between the southern Alps and the Esterel massif, which borders the Mediterranean Sea between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. The village is located on the road to Mons, which later on joins the Route Napoléon linking Nice to Grenoble through the Alps. Some high-standing resorts have settled nearby the village in the recent years: the Domaine de Terre Blanche at Tourrettes and Domaine de Fayence attract a foreign clientele. The village contains a primary school (École de la Ferrage) and a junior high school (Collège Marie Mauron). The Aérodrome de Fayence-Tourettes is one of the most active in Europe for gliding; it hosts the Provence Côte d'Azur Aeronautical Association.

Seillans (French pronunciation: [sɛjɑ̃]; Occitan: Selhan) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is a ville perché (perched hill-top village) overlooking the plain between the southern Alps and the Esterel, which borders the sea between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. It has been recognized by Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. Seillans has a steeply-inclined medieval centre, accessible only on foot, and a number of small squares and old buildings. It is the westernmost of a line of such towns and villages (including Montauroux, Callian, Tourrettes and Fayence) that face south and attract tourists. Other local attractions include the nearby Lac de Saint-Cassien. Seillans is also a destination for holiday-makers, retirees and second-home owners from other parts of France and northern Europe. Seillans features a castle and C13 church at its summit. Nearby are rustic chapels, vineyards, forests and olive groves. Seillans has an annual pottery market and many concerts and events throughout the year, as well as the annual international Musique-Cordiale Festival, a fortnight when the church, the salle polyvalente and outdoor venues resound to a variety of high quality classical, choral and jazz music from international artists, soloists, choirs and orchestras each August, when the area is at its most popular. In the late 1960s and early 1970s Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning made Seillans their home. The village hosts a substantial Max Ernst collection, including several sculptures in open air.
