Fayence

Tourrettes (French pronunciation: [tuʁɛt]; Occitan: Torretas) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. Tourrettes is one of a series of "perched villages" overlooking the plain between the southern Alps and the Esterel massif, which borders the sea between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. Tourrettes is popular with tourists. The village is located on the road to Mons, which later on joins the Route Napoléon (linking Nice to Grenoble through the Alps). In the recent years a high-standing golf resort has settled in Tourrettes, the Domaine de Terre Blanche. The aerodrome of Fayence-Tourrettes was one of the most active in Europe.

The Pays de Fayence is a 'communauté de communes' made up of 9 communes in the departement Var, southeastern France. Its seat is in the town Fayence. Its area is 401.9 km2, and its population was 28,266 in 2019.

The Terre Blanche Hotel Spa Golf Resort is located at Tourrettes, Var, just southeast of Fayence, in the Provence region of France. The Bouge family owned the estate in the 18th century. Actor Sean Connery then bought the property comprising the château and its surrounding 266 hectares. He had it for 20 years before selling it to Dietmar Hopp in 1999. Hopp transformed the property into an exclusive golf resort with luxury properties, two championship golf courses and a world-class spa. It was ranked 5th in the CNN Money dream vacation home guide. The domain is 30–45 minute from Cannes, Nice, and St Tropez, and 1 hour drive from Monaco.

Saint-Paul-en-Forêt (French pronunciation: [sɛ̃ pɔl ɑ̃ fɔʁɛ], literally Saint-Paul in Forest; Provençal: Sant Pau de la Galina) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France.

Seillans (French pronunciation: [sɛjɑ̃]; Occitan: Selhan) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is a ville perché (perched hill-top village) overlooking the plain between the southern Alps and the Esterel, which borders the sea between Cannes and Saint-Raphaël. It has been recognized by Les Plus Beaux Villages de France. Seillans has a steeply-inclined medieval centre, accessible only on foot, and a number of small squares and old buildings. It is the westernmost of a line of such towns and villages (including Montauroux, Callian, Tourrettes and Fayence) that face south and attract tourists. Other local attractions include the nearby Lac de Saint-Cassien. Seillans is also a destination for holiday-makers, retirees and second-home owners from other parts of France and northern Europe. Seillans features a castle and C13 church at its summit. Nearby are rustic chapels, vineyards, forests and olive groves. Seillans has an annual pottery market and many concerts and events throughout the year, as well as the annual international Musique-Cordiale Festival, a fortnight when the church, the salle polyvalente and outdoor venues resound to a variety of high quality classical, choral and jazz music from international artists, soloists, choirs and orchestras each August, when the area is at its most popular. In the late 1960s and early 1970s Max Ernst and Dorothea Tanning made Seillans their home. The village hosts a substantial Max Ernst collection, including several sculptures in open air.

Montauroux (French pronunciation: [mɔ̃toʁu]; Occitan: Montauron) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France. Its neighbour town is the smaller, picturesque Callian, which can be seen across a small valley. In 2019, Montauroux had a population of 6,548.

Bagnols-en-Forêt (French pronunciation: [baɲɔl ɑ̃ fɔʁɛ]; Occitan: Banhòus) is a commune in Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in Southeastern France.

The Lac de Saint-Cassien (French pronunciation: [lak də sɛ̃kasjɛ̃]; Lake of Saint-Cassien) is a reservoir in the Var department, Southern France, not far from the border with Alpes-Maritimes. It is bordered by Montauroux, Tanneron and Les Adrets-de-l'Estérel. At an elevation of 147 m (482 ft), its surface area is 4.2 km2 (1.6 sq mi). The EDF Barrage de Saint-Cassien (Saint-Cassien Dam), northeast of the lake in the commune of Tanneron, was put into service in 1966. Both the dam and reservoir were named after John Cassian (Jean Cassien), a Christian saint who founded the Abbey of St Victor in Marseille.

Claviers (French pronunciation: [klavje] ; Occitan: Clavier) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It is approximately 60 km (37 mi) west of Cannes.
