Chasseneuil-du-Poitou

The canton of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou is an administrative division of the Vienne department, western France. It was created at the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. Its seat is in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou.It consists of the following communes:

The École Nationale Supérieure de Mécanique et d'Aérotechnique (ISAE-ENSMA) is a grande école founded in 1948 and located near Poitiers, France. Graduates generally work as R&D engineers for corporations in the aerospace (60%), transportation, capital goods, and energy industry. The school is part of GEA, CESAER, PEGASUS and the ISAE group with the Institut supérieur de l'aéronautique et de l'espace (ISAE-SUPAERO). It is a member of Leonardo da Vinci consolidated University, an association of educational institutions in the former Centre, Poitou-Charentes and Limousin regions.

Futuroscope, or Parc du Futuroscope (French pronunciation: ​[paʁk dy fytyʁɔskɔp]), formerly known as Planète Futuroscope, is a French theme park based upon multimedia, cinematographic futuroscope and audio-visual techniques. It has several 3D cinemas and a few 4D cinemas along with other attractions and shows, some of which are the only examples in the world. It is located in the department of Vienne, Nouvelle-Aquitaine, 10 kilometres (6.2 mi) north of Poitiers, in the communes of Chasseneuil-du-Poitou and Jaunay-Clan. The park had 1.83 million visitors in 2015. In total, 50 million visitors have been to the park since it opened in 1987.

Futuroscope is a TGV railway station located near Poitiers, France. It is situated on the Paris–Bordeaux railway. It gives a direct access to the park Futuroscope. It opened on 28 May 2000.

Objectif Mars is a steel multi-launched spinning coaster located at Futuroscope in Chasseneuil-du-Poitou, France. The coaster combines elements of a dark ride and educational technology in order to simulate a daring training session and mission to Mars. It can accommodate children as young as 5–6 years old, provided that they meet the 1.1-metre (43 in) height requirement.

Jaunay-Marigny (French pronunciation: [ʒonɛ maʁiɲi]) is a commune in the department of Vienne, western France. The municipality was established on 1 January 2017 by merger of the former communes of Jaunay-Clan (the seat) and Marigny-Brizay.

Jaunay-Clan (French pronunciation: [ʒonɛ klɑ̃]) is a former commune in the Vienne department, New Aquitaine, western France. On 1 January 2017, it was merged into the new commune Jaunay-Marigny. It is twinned with the town of Cavan, Ireland.
