Cuers (French pronunciation: [kɥɛʁs]) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It has an aerodrome, Cuers-Pierrefeu Aerodrome, shared with nearby Pierrefeu. It was one of the locations of the 1995 Cuers massacre.

On 23 September 1995, 16-year-old Éric Borel murdered three members of his family in Solliès-Pont in the arrondissement of Toulon, France. The following day he shot dead twelve other people and injured four more in the village of Cuers the next day. When police arrived at the scene, Borel shot himself.

The Institut des Sciences de l'Ingénieur de Toulon et du Var (English: Institute of Engineering Sciences of Toulon and the Var), or ISITV, was a French public engineering school. It was located in the south of France, between Toulon and Hyères, on the French Riviera. In 2014, the school merged with Supméca to form a new engineering school called SeaTech. The School was established in 1991 by combining the teaching and research resources of the University of the South, Toulon-Var with support and collaboration from industry.

Belgentier (French pronunciation: [bɛlʒɑ̃tje]; Occitan: Beujanciá) is a commune in the Var department in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. It was the birthplace of the astronomer, antiquary and savant, Nicolas-Claude Fabri de Peiresc (1580–1637).

The Domaine d'Orvès is an arboretum and Provençal garden surrounding an 18th-century bastide located in the commune of La Valette du Var in the Var department of France. It is classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Remarkable Gardens of France. It is privately owned but open to the public by reservation.
