Carapachay is a town located in Vicente López Partido in Argentina. It forms part of the Greater Buenos Aires agglomeration.

Villa Ballester is a city located in the northern Greater Buenos Aires urban area and it is part of the General San Martín Partido in Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. It is served by the Línea Mitre commuter railway with its station also named Villa Ballester. Founded on 26 October 1889.

Unicenter is a major shopping and entertainment complex in Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is located by the Panamerican Highway in Martínez, 17 mi (25 km) northwest of downtown Buenos Aires. It is just north of the Panamerican, on Calle Paraná. Unicenter was opened in 1988, the first shopping centre of its size in Argentina. It has 300 stores, largely branches of national and international chains that include: Ralph Lauren, Tommy Hilfiger, Christian Dior, Christian Lacroix, Zara, Yves Saint Laurent, Swarovski, Armani Exchange, Levi's, Nike, Adidas, Calvin Klein, as well as a major supermarket (Jumbo), a department store (Falabella), a 14-screen cinema with one of the most advanced sound systems in South America (operated by Hoyts), and a food court. Facing Unicenter across the Panamerican is Norcenter Lifestyle Mall (Norcenter), a cinema, shopping and entertainment complex, which boasts the only Imax center in Argentina.

Colegio de Todos Los Santos is a private school in Argentina. It was founded in 1981 and has been an International Baccalaureate World School since 1988. Its classes are being taught in English and Spanish.

The Torre Ader (Ader Tower in English) is an 18th-century Florentine-style tower located in Carapachay in Vicente López Partido, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is an historical monument built in similar style to the Torre Monumental (Monumental Tower) in Buenos Aires. It reaches a height of 42.30 m (138 ft 9+1⁄2 in) The tower was conceived in 1916 by Bernado Ader as Torre de la Independencia (Independence Tower) in honour of his deceased children and as a monument to the centenary of Argentine independence. Construction began in 1917; the architects were Artaza and Marino and the construction company was P. Stefanetti and Sons.

Munro is a city of the Vicente López Partido in northern Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina, best known for its jeans and apparel stores and outlets. It is located some 20 km from the downtown of the city. It is bordered by the neighborhoods of Villa Adelina, Carapachay and Martínez on the north; Villa Ballester on the west; Florida Este in the south; and Olivos to the east. The border streets are Mariano Moreno, Bartolomé Mitre Avenue, Paraná, National Highway 9 (Panamericana), Antonio Malaver, Alexander Fleming, Luis María Drago, Primera Junta, Montes de Oca, Capitán Cajaraville, Juramento, Carlos Calvo, Albarellos, and Belgrano. There are many sports clubs in Munro such as Unión Vecinal de Fomento Munro (founded on 1922), Olivos Rugby Club (1927), Club Unión de Munro (1946), Club Social y Deportivo Industrial Munro (1947). Some of Munro's local industries are: Atanor, Fabriloza, Colorín, Virulana, Ripán, Telagoma, Bayer, Gillette and other factories of clothing, lumber, steel, food, etc. In the town were located the Lumiton filming studios (they still exist today as a museum of the movies filmed there).

The 1962 Canada Cup took place 8–11 November at Jockey Club Golf in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the 10th Canada Cup event, which became the World Cup in 1967. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 34 teams. These were the same teams that had competed in 1961 but without Paraguay and with the addition of Ecuador and Panama. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The American team of Arnold Palmer and Sam Snead won by two strokes over the Argentine team of Fidel de Luca and Roberto De Vicenzo. The individual competition was won by Roberto De Vicenzo, who finished two shots ahead of Englishman Peter Alliss and Arnold Palmer.

The 1970 World Cup took place 12–15 November at The Jockey Club in San Isidro 28 kilometers north of the center of Buenos Aires, Argentina. It was the 18th World Cup event. The tournament was a 72-hole stroke play team event with 43 teams. 44 teams were invited, but the Czechoslovakia team of amateurs Jiri Dvorak and Jan Kunšta withdraw from the tournament before it begun. Each team consisted of two players from a country. The combined score of each team determined the team results. The Australia team of Bruce Devlin and David Graham won, with a record aggregate of 544, by eight strokes over the Japan team of Takaaki Kono and Haruo Yasuda. Australia held a record advantage of 19 strokes going into the final round. This was the third victory for Australia in the history of the World Cup, until 1967 named the Canada Cup. The individual competition was won by Roberto De Vicenzo, Argentina one stroke ahead of Graham. The event was dedicated to the 47-year-old home hero De Vicenzo, who had participated in 15 Canada Cup/World Cup events played and shared in Argentina's victory in the 1953 inaugural event.Henrik Lund, Denmark, made a hole-in-one on the par 3 12th hole in the first round.

Florida is a neighborhood in Vicente López Partido, Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. The community is a suburb in the Buenos Aires metropolitan area. In 2020 the population was estimated at 48,158, making it the second most populated neighborhood in Vicente López Partido. It is 15 kilometers north of downtown Buenos Aires. Florida grew and prospered in the late 1800s when it became a railway stop; the community became progressively more urban and started to receive Italian and English immigrants who set small farms that provided vegetables and fruits to nearby Buenos Aires. Nowadays it is an upper middle class residential area serving as a bedroom community. It is bordered to the east by Vicente López neighborhood, to the north by Olivos, to the south by the city of Buenos Aires, and to the west by Villa Martelli.

The Instituto La Salle Florida is an Argentine private school founded in 1934 and located in Florida, Vicente López Partido, Buenos Aires Province. Although it is managed by lay people, it belongs to the Institute of the Brothers of the Christian Schools, a Roman Catholic religious teaching congregation created by French priest and educational reformer Jean-Baptiste de La Salle in 1680. Originally established as a boys-only school, nowadays both male and female students attend classes. It offers early childhood, primary, secondary and tertiary education. In recent years, the school has organized a marathon in order to raise funds for charitable purposes.

The Hipódromo de San Isidro is a horse racing track located in San Isidro, Buenos Aires, Argentina, owned by the Argentine Jockey Club. It is one of the largest and most important racetracks in the Americas. 120 racing days are held per year, on every Wednesday, every other Friday and Saturday, and some Sundays.The Hipódromo is located 22 km from Buenos Aires City. It has an area of 1.48 km2. Each December, the Hipódromo hosts the Gran Premio Carlos Pellegrini, the most important horse race in Argentina. The Hipódromo de San Isidro hosts the annual Carlos Pellegrini Awards.

Florida Oeste is a city of the Vicente López Partido in the northern suburbs of Greater Buenos Aires, Argentina. It is principally a middle-class and industrial neighbourhood located between the barrios of Villa Martelli and Munro, also in the same partido (department).
