Hartmannswiller

Château de Hartmannswiller is a castle in the commune of Hartmannswiller, in the department of Haut-Rhin, Alsace, France. Although a castle was already mentioned in the 14th century, the present structure mainly dates from the 16th and 18th century. It is a listed historical monument since 1988.

Wuenheim (Alemannic German: Wüene; German: Wünheim) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.

Berrwiller (dialectal name: Barwillr; German: Berrweiler) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in northeastern France. It forms part of the Mulhouse Alsace Agglomération, the inter-communal local government body for the Mulhouse conurbation. Its inhabitants are called the Berrwillerois and Berrwilleroises.

The Soultz-Haut-Rhin Railway (German Sulzerbahn) was a 9.8 km (6.1 mi) long military light railway with a track gauge of 600 mm (1 ft 11+5⁄8 in) that the Germans built and operated during World War I from Soultz-Haut-Rhin to the Niederwald terminus below the Hartmannswillerkopf near Wattwiller in Alsace.

The canton de Soultz-Haut-Rhin is a French former administrative division, located in the département of Haut-Rhin and the region Alsace. It had 23,348 inhabitants (2012). It was disbanded following the French canton reorganisation which came into effect in March 2015. The canton comprised the following communes:

The Château de Buchenek is a castle in the commune of Soultz-Haut-Rhin in the Haut-Rhin département of France. Dating from the second half of the 13th century, it was altered, possibly in the 14th century, and in the 16th century.The castle was first recorded in 1251. The logis, of a rectangular plan, possibly still dates from this period at the lower level; it was altered in the 14th century (there is evidence of building work) as well as in the second half of the 16th century (staircase tower). Restored after the Thirty Years' War, the castle was sold as national property. In the 19th century it was used as a factory. Bought by the town in 1976, the castle has had a significant restoration and, since 1990, has housed the municipal museum.It has been listed since 1984 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.

Église Saint-Maurice (Church of Saint Maurice) is the medieval parish church of the small town of Soultz, in the Haut-Rhin department of France. The church is noteworthy for its refined and light (épuré et léger) Gothic design, and for the works of art it contains, including a Renaissance pulpit and a 1750 Silbermann pipe organ. It has been classified as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1920.

Jungholtz (French pronunciation: ​[junɡɔls]; German: Jungholz) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France.

The Basilica of Our Lady of Thierenbach is a Cluniac priory and minor basilica located in Jungholtz, in the Alasace region of France. The priory was built on the order of the Abbot of Cluny Abbey in the Benedictine order, with construction occurring around 1130. Monks from Cluny Abbey occupied the priory until the 17th century. The current structure was designed by Peter Thumb and was built between 1719–1723 after the original 12th-century structure was destroyed during the Thirty Years War. The basilica was later abandoned during the French Revolution. The current church was built in the Baroque style, with a number of typical Baroque features, such as ex-voto images along the walls, and an elaborate altarpiece. The most recent building works, taking place in 1932, saw the erection of a Baroque bell tower, topped with a bulbous dome. Today, the basilica draws hundreds of thousands of pilgrims a year, and is a significant site of pilgrimage in the Alsace region.

The Parc de la Marseillaise is a public arboretum and botanical garden in the center of the town of Guebwiller, in the department of Haut-Rhin, in the Alsace Region of France. It is classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France. The park was created by landscape designer Édouard André between 1897 and 1899, and contains a large fountain, bandstand, a great variety of trees, rhododendrons and roses, and colorful seasonal flower beds of begonias, dahlias and iris.

Notre-Dame (Church of Our Lady) is a Neoclassical Catholic parish church in the town of Guebwiller, in the Haut-Rhin department of France. The church is classified as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1841. The building is remarkable for its size and for the quality of its decoration; it is considered as the most important Neoclassical church in Alsace, and as an outstanding and most sumptuous example of early Neoclassical architecture.
