Calaveras Reservoir

Calaveras Creek is a northward-flowing stream in Alameda and Santa Clara counties of California. It runs for 8.5 miles (13.7 km), starting from Poverty Ridge, passing through Calaveras Reservoir, and emptying into Alameda Creek east of Fremont, California. Its main tributary is Arroyo Hondo.

Calaveras Valley is a valley east of Milpitas, California in the San Francisco Bay Area. It has formed primarily as a result of the actions of the Calaveras Fault. The southern end of the Calaveras Valley is a few miles south of Calaveras Reservoir, while the northern end is at Sunol. See Calaveras Reservoir for more information.

The Sunol Regional Wilderness is a regional park in Alameda County, the eastern San Francisco Bay Area, Northern California. It is located near the town of Sunol, south of Pleasanton and east of Fremont. The 27.74 square kilometres (6,850 acres) park was established in 1962, and is administered by the East Bay Regional Park District. The park is subject to either closure or fire restriction during the wildfire season from June through October.

Ed R. Levin County Park is the largest park in Milpitas, California. It is run by the Santa Clara County Parks and Recreation Department and is located in the chaparral and grassland foothills of Diablo Range east of the Santa Clara Valley. Monument Peak can be accessed through trails in the park. The park's recreational facilities include a hang gliding and paragliding area, a dog park, and horseback riding areas. Ed R. Levin County Park has two lakes, Sandy Wool Lake and Spring Valley Pond. Both of them are reservoirs which collect runoff water from the hills to the east. It is home to some of the East Bay Walls. The park is named after open space advocate and Santa Clara County 3rd District Supervisor Edgar R. Levin (1908-1965).

Monument Peak is a mountain peak located southeast of Fremont and northeast of Milpitas in the East Bay region of the San Francisco Bay Area in California.

KICU-TV (channel 36), branded on-air as KTVU Plus, is an independent television station licensed to San Jose, California, United States, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. It is owned by Fox Television Stations alongside Oakland-licensed Fox owned-and-operated station KTVU (channel 2). Both stations share studios at Jack London Square in Oakland, while KICU-TV's transmitter is located on Monument Peak in Milpitas.

Arroyo Hondo is a northwestward-flowing 13.0-mile-long (20.9 km) river in Santa Clara County, California, United States, that lies east of Milpitas. The area is privately owned by the San Francisco Water Department and is closed to public access because of its usage as drinking water. Bounded to the east by Oak Ridge and to the west by Poverty Ridge, Arroyo Hondo empties into the Calaveras Reservoir where it joins Calaveras Creek. It is formed by the confluence of Smith Creek and Isabel Creek which drain the west and east slopes of Mount Hamilton, respectively.

Mount Allison is a peak of the Diablo Range, located in the East Bay southeast of Fremont, California.

KSTS (channel 48) is a television station licensed to San Jose, California, United States, serving as the San Francisco Bay Area outlet for the Spanish-language network Telemundo. It is owned and operated by NBCUniversal's Telemundo Station Group alongside NBC outlet KNTV (channel 11); it is also sister to regional sports networks NBC Sports Bay Area and NBC Sports California. KSTS and KNTV share studios on North 1st Street in the North San Jose Innovation District; KSTS's transmitter is located on Mount Allison, and two of its main subchannels are also broadcast from the KNTV tower on San Bruno Mountain. KSTS was established in 1981 to provide subscription television service in the South Bay and Santa Clara Valley. The STV programming ended in 1983, and the station mostly became noted for specialty programming about business and computers as well as some ethnic programs. Telemundo purchased the station in 1987, giving the Bay Area a second station focusing on Spanish-language programming and a second choice for Spanish-language local news.

KDTV-DT (channel 14) is a television station licensed to San Francisco, California, United States, serving as the Spanish-language Univision network outlet for the San Francisco Bay Area. It is owned and operated by TelevisaUnivision alongside Vallejo-licensed UniMás outlet KFSF-DT (channel 66). Both stations share studios on Zanker Road near the North San Jose Innovation District in San Jose, while KDTV's transmitter is located on Mount Allison in Fremont. KDTV-CD (channel 28) in Santa Rosa operates as a Class A translator of KDTV relaying the station's signal into the northern half of the market; this station's transmitter is located atop Mount Saint Helena.

KSCZ-LD, virtual channel 16 (UHF digital channel 23), is a low-powered television station licensed to San Jose and San Francisco, California, United States. It broadcasts mostly Vietnamese-language programming from atop Mount Allison in unincorporated Alameda County. The station is owned by Venture Technologies Group. Until 2017, the station served the Central Coast media market.

Ohlone Wilderness is a 9,737 acres (39.40 km2) regional park in the United States that is part of the East Bay Regional Parks (EBRPD) system. It is located in southern Alameda County, near the cities of Fremont, California and Sunol, California. It is located between Mission Peak (to its west) and Sunol Regional Wilderness (to its east).
