Bergholtz, Haut-Rhin

Issenheim (French pronunciation: ​[isɑ̃nɛ̃]; German: Isenheim) is a commune in the Haut-Rhin department in Grand Est in north-eastern France. The Isenheim Altarpiece, currently on display at the Unterlinden Museum of Colmar, was completed in 1515 by Matthias Grünewald for a local monastery. Among his many other titles, Prince Albert II of Monaco is ceremonially styled as "Seigneur of Issenheim".

Oberelsaß (or Upper Alsace, French: Haute-Alsace) was the southern part of the historical region Alsace or Elsass, inhabited originally by locals speaking Alemannic German. From 1871 to 1918, Bezirk Oberelsaß was a region (Bezirk) in the southern part of the province of Elsaß-Lothringen in the German Empire. The region corresponds exactly to the current French department of Haut-Rhin. Its capital was Colmar. It was divided into the districts (Kreise) of: Altkirch within the Sundgau Colmar Gebweiler (Guebwiller) Mülhausen (Mulhouse) Rappoltsweiler (Ribeauvillé) ThannThe flag of Oberelsaß is a yellow bar on a red field decorated on each side with three crowns. The combination of this flag with that of Unterelsaß forms the flag of modern Alsace.

The Parc de la Marseillaise is a public arboretum and botanical garden in the center of the town of Guebwiller, in the department of Haut-Rhin, in the Alsace Region of France. It is classified by the French Ministry of Culture as one of the Notable Gardens of France. The park was created by landscape designer Édouard André between 1897 and 1899, and contains a large fountain, bandstand, a great variety of trees, rhododendrons and roses, and colorful seasonal flower beds of begonias, dahlias and iris.

Notre-Dame (Church of Our Lady) is a Neoclassical Catholic parish church in the town of Guebwiller, in the Haut-Rhin department of France. The church is classified as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1841. The building is remarkable for its size and for the quality of its decoration; it is considered as the most important Neoclassical church in Alsace, and as an outstanding and most sumptuous example of early Neoclassical architecture.

Église Saint-Maurice (Church of Saint Maurice) is the medieval parish church of the small town of Soultz, in the Haut-Rhin department of France. The church is noteworthy for its refined and light (épuré et léger) Gothic design, and for the works of art it contains, including a Renaissance pulpit and a 1750 Silbermann pipe organ. It has been classified as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture since 1920.

The Château de Buchenek is a castle in the commune of Soultz-Haut-Rhin in the Haut-Rhin département of France. Dating from the second half of the 13th century, it was altered, possibly in the 14th century, and in the 16th century.The castle was first recorded in 1251. The logis, of a rectangular plan, possibly still dates from this period at the lower level; it was altered in the 14th century (there is evidence of building work) as well as in the second half of the 16th century (staircase tower). Restored after the Thirty Years' War, the castle was sold as national property. In the 19th century it was used as a factory. Bought by the town in 1976, the castle has had a significant restoration and, since 1990, has housed the municipal museum.It has been listed since 1984 as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.
