Eastville, Lincolnshire

East Ville was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the village of Eastville in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1964. It originally opened as East Ville and New Leake, but was renamed in 1850. Withdrawal of passenger services took place in 1961, followed by goods facilities in 1964. The line through the station remains in use as the Poacher Line

New Leake is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 323. It is situated 9 miles (14 km) north from Boston, and 10 miles (16 km) east from Coningsby. St Judes Mission church lies within the village of New Leake. It appears to have been built and opened around 1896. It is part of the Stickney Group of churchesEast Fen Chapel was a Primitive Methodist chapel originally built in 1831, but was replaced by a new building in 1855. It closed in 1969.New Leake primary school was built in 1890, originally as the New Leake Board School, by the United School Board of the parishes of Old and New Leake (1881-1903).

Midville railway station was a station in Midville, Lincolnshire, England. It was on the line between Lincoln and Firsby. The station opened in 1913 and closed along with the line in 1970. The station building and masters house are now in private ownership.

Toynton Fen Side is a hamlet and linear settlement on Fenside Road in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The hamlet is partly in the civil parish of Toynton St Peter, and that of Toynton All Saints. Toynton Fen Side is situated 12 miles (19 km) north from Boston and 11 miles (18 km) west from Skegness. The East Fen Catchwater Drain crosses west to east at the south of the hamlet. Bus services connect Toynton Fen Side with Horncastle, Partney, Wainfleet, Boston, Mablethorpe, and Spilsby. Businesses include garage services and a fencing suppliers. According to trade directories Toynton Fen Side is a centre for growing wheat, barley, potatoes and beans, and has rich pasture land. The settlement was historically under the lordship of the Willoughby de Eresby Barony; in 1855, Peter Drummond-Burrell; in 1885, Clementina Drummond-Willoughby. There was a publican of The Wheatsheaf public house in 1855. A farmer and a publican was mentioned in 1872, where the publican was also a grocer. In 1933 there were two farmers, a smallholder, and a shopkeeper. There was a Primitive Methodist Chapel, dating to 1867, in the Toynton All Saints part of the hamlet. The chapel was variously in the Louth, Spilsby, and Leake Circuits.

Toynton St Peter is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England, approximately 2 miles (3 km) south from the town of Spilsby. Toynton St Peter, and its neighbours Toynton All Saints, and Toynton Fenside are listed three times in the Domesday Book of 1086, jointly as "Toantun" so it is not possible to distinguish which entry referred to which place. As a whole, "Toantun" consisted of 78 households and had a church.The parish church is a Grade II listed building dedicated to Saint Peter and dating from the 14th century, although it was rebuilt in 1876 by James Fowler of Louth. It was built of greenstone and limestonewith some brick patching. It has a 15th-century tower and a 14th-century font.In the churchyard is the base of a 14th-century churchyard cross which is both Grade II listed and a scheduled monument.A Wesleyan Methodist chapel was built in 1811. The chapel is now closed and an application for planning permission to convert it into a dwelling was refused.The parish has a village hall.

Old Leake is a village and civil parish in Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 2,022.Old Leake is situated approximately 8 miles (13 km) north-east from Boston, and on the A52 road between Leverton and Wrangle at the junction of the B1184 (from Sibsey). Areas included in the parish are The Gride to the north-west, Leake Commonside and Lade Bank to the north, and Leake Hurns End to the south-east. The coast of The Wash lies 3 miles (5 km) to the east of the village.

Wrangle is a village in the Boston Borough of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated approximately 9 miles (14 km) north-east from the town of Boston. The population of Wrangle civil parish in 2001 was 1,265, increasing to 1,397 at the 2011 census.Wrangle is one of eighteen parishes which, together with Boston, form the Borough of Boston. The local government has been arranged in this way since the reorganisation of 1 April 1974, which resulted from the Local Government Act 1972. This parish forms part of the Old Leake and Wrangle electoral ward.Hitherto, the parish had formed part of Boston Rural District, in the Parts of Holland. Holland was one of the three divisions (formally known as parts) of the traditional county of Lincolnshire. Since the Local Government Act of 1888, Holland had been in most respects, a county in itself.

Little Steeping was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the hamlet of Little Steeping in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1964. It became a junction station in June 1913 when the Kirkstead and Little Steeping Railway was opened to provide a more direct route to Skegness for East Midlands holidaymakers. Withdrawal of passenger services took place in 1961, followed by goods facilities in 1964. The line through the station remains in use as the Poacher Line, although the Kirkstead and Little Steeping Railway closed throughout on 5 October 1970.

Keal Cotes, forming part of West Keal parish, is a small linear village in East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated on the A16 road, 1 mile (1.6 km) south from West Keal and 1 mile north from Stickford. The nearest market town is Spilsby, about 6 miles (10 km) to the north. Keal Cotes market day is on Mondays. The village is at the southern edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds north of the Fenlands, and approximately 25 miles (40 km) east from the city and county town of Lincoln, 11 miles (18 km) north-east from the market town of Boston, and 12 miles (19 km) west from the holiday resort of Skegness. The remains of a substantial Roman villa or high status Romano-British farmhouse, the only one found in Lincolnshire, are in a large field at the south end of the village. The name of the village is occasionally spelt on some maps as "Keal Coates".
