Old Leake railway station

Sibsey was a railway station on the East Lincolnshire Railway which served the village of Sibsey in Lincolnshire between 1848 and 1964. Withdrawal of passenger services took place in 1961, followed by goods facilities in 1964. The line through the station remains in use as part of the Poacher Line between Boston and Skegness.

The Prime Meridian passes just to the west of Sibsey, crossing the Stone Bridge Drain canal. At the 2001 census, Sibsey had a population of 1,996, reducing to 1,979 at the 2011 Census.Set in the fens of Lincolnshire, Sibsey is a focus of the farming community. The village is surrounded by farmland. The village won an award for best-kept village in 1989. The village has a village hall, a post office with shop, and a public house, the White Hart, on Main Road. Although the postal address for residences includes nearby Boston, it is not in that borough.

Midville is a small village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. It is situated about 10 miles (16 km) north from Boston. The village was an extra-parochial allotment of the East Fen, which was drained between 1802 and 1813, and was constituted as a parochial township by an act of Parliament passed in 1885. The East Fen is between Boston and Spilsby.Midville church was built in 1819–20 and is a plain edifice of Georgian brick.Midville railway station opened in 1913, and closed in 1970.

New Leake is a village and civil parish in the East Lindsey district of Lincolnshire, England. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 323. It is situated 9 miles (14 km) north from Boston, and 10 miles (16 km) east from Coningsby. St Judes Mission church lies within the village of New Leake. It appears to have been built and opened around 1896. It is part of the Stickney Group of churchesEast Fen Chapel was a Primitive Methodist chapel originally built in 1831, but was replaced by a new building in 1855. It closed in 1969.New Leake primary school was built in 1890, originally as the New Leake Board School, by the United School Board of the parishes of Old and New Leake (1881-1903).

Midville railway station was a station in Midville, Lincolnshire, England. It was on the line between Lincoln and Firsby. The station opened in 1913 and closed along with the line in 1970. The station building and masters house are now in private ownership.

Areas included in the parish are The Gride to the north-west, Leake Commonside and Lade Bank to the north, and Leake Hurns End to the south-east. The coast of The Wash lies 3 miles (5 km) to the east of the village.

Trader Mill is located in the village of Sibsey, Lincolnshire. It's one of two windmills which were grinding flour for the local community. Rhodes Mill (the second of the two) has been converted into a house. Built in 1877 by Saunderson of Louth in the typical Lincolnshire style, since then it has been restored and is now owned by English Heritage and managed by an independent party. It is a six-storey windmill with complete gear, six sails and fantail which still works today. It is a Grade I listed building.The windmill is one of the very few six-sailed mills still remaining in England. The mill itself is not exceptionally tall and in fact stands only six floors high above ground and the height to the top of the mill's cap is a mere 74 feet 3 inches. However the slenderness of the tower combined with the flat landscape which surrounds the mill give the illusion that Sibsey is larger than it actually is. The slim central tower also makes the sails look enormous in comparison.The mill worked until 1954 (although with only four sails in its later years) following which it was allowed to fall into disrepair. It has now been restored to full working order and today produces a wide range of organic flours.The mill features in the CBeebies series Baby Jake where location filming for the series took place in the late summer of 2010.

Leverton is a village and civil parish in the Boston district of Lincolnshire, England, about 6 mi (10 km) east-north-east of Boston, on the A52 road. The population of the civil parish at the 2011 census was 689.It is one of eighteen parishes which, together with Boston, form the Borough of Boston in the county of Lincolnshire, England. The local government has been arranged in this way since the reorganisation of 1 April 1974, which resulted from the Local Government Act 1972. This parish forms part of the Coastal electoral ward. Hitherto the parish had formed part of Boston Rural District, in the Parts of Holland. Holland was one of the three divisions (formally known as parts) of the traditional county of Lincolnshire. Since the Local Government Act of 1888 Holland had been, in most respects, a county in itself. Before that Leverton had been in Skirbeck Wapentake, Parts of Holland. Leverton Grade I listed Anglican church is dedicated to St Helen.
