The Institut national de recherche en sciences et technologies pour l'environnement et l'agriculture (IRSTEA), formerly known as Cemagref, was a public research institute in France focusing on land management issues, such as water resources and agricultural technology. From 1 January 2020 the IRSTEA merged with the INRA (Institut national de la recherche agronomique) to create the INRAE (Institut national de recherche pour l'agriculture, l'alimentation et l'environnement).

Fresnes (French pronunciation: [fʁɛn] ) is a commune in the Val-de-Marne department in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 11.2 km (7.0 mi) from the center of Paris, next to Antony, Sceaux and Rungis. It is drained by the River Bièvre. The Fresnes Prison, where Jean Genet was held for a time, is located there.

Rungis (French pronunciation: [ʁœ̃ʒis] (listen)) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France, in the département of Val-de-Marne. It is best known as the location of the large wholesale food market serving the Paris metropolitan area and beyond, the Marché d'Intérêt National de Rungis, said to be the largest food market in the world. The name Rungis was recorded for the first time in a royal charter of 1124 as Rungi Villa.

Institut aéronautique Jean Mermoz (IAJM) is a flight training organisation and resourcing services. Professional airline pilots have been trained at IAJM since 1957. Its name is from the French aviator Jean Mermoz. The school is well known for its aviation books. Published in French, since 2016 the books have also been available in English thanks to a partnership agreement with the École nationale de l'aviation civile (French Civil Aviation University). The first English books were published at the Paris Air Show 2017, in partnership with Airbus. The school has an agreement with the aerospace college IPSA for a double-degree Master of Science in aviation / ATPL.One third of French airline pilots have been trained at Institut Mermoz.

Fresnes Prison (French Centre pénitentiaire de Fresnes) is the second largest prison in France, located in the town of Fresnes, Val-de-Marne, south of Paris. It comprises a large men's prison (maison d'arrêt) of about 1200 cells, a smaller one for women and a penitentiary hospital. Fresnes is one of the three main prisons of the Paris area, Fleury-Mérogis (Europe's largest prison) and La Santé (located in Paris) being the other two.

Fontaine-Michalon station is a station on Line B of the Réseau Express Régional system serving the city of Antony, Hauts-de-Seine, France, a southern suburb of Paris.

Chilly-Mazarin (French: [ʃiji mazaʁɛ̃] ) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 16.9 km (10.5 mi) from the center of Paris. A small part of Orly International Airport lies on the territory of the commune of Chilly-Mazarin.Inhabitants of Chilly-Mazarin are known as Chiroquois.

Aéroport d'Orly station is a future Paris Métro station serving as the terminus station of Line 14 and of Line 18, part of the Grand Paris Express project. It is located on the land of the commune Paray-Vieille-Poste and will serve Orly Airport, about 13 km (8.1 mi) south of Paris. The station is planned to open together with the extension of Line 14 to the south in June 2024, shortly before the start of the Olympic Games. Line 14 will connect Orly Airport to Olympiades (its current southern terminus within Paris) in a travel time of 16 minutes. The station will improve the transport offering at Orly Airport, which is currently served by tramway T7 and by the orlyval automated shuttle to Antony station on line RER B. Line 18 of Grand Paris Express is planned to start running from the station in 2027, serving Massy – Palaiseau, the Saclay plateau and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines. Thus, it will connect the airport to Paris-Saclay, a research and business cluster to the south of Paris that is currently under construction. In 2030, the line will reach Versailles-Chantiers. The station is being built on the level of the last extension of the parking garage P0, right next to a connector building connecting the South and West terminals. Work began in March 2017 with the demolition of a road bridge opposite the drop-off point and the P0 parking extension. Construction of the station started in September 2018 for delivery in 2024.The station will be operated by RATP Dev from its opening in 2024 until at least 2027.

Orly – Ouest is an Orlyval station in the northern part of the West Terminal of Orly Airport, near Hall 1.

Antony station (French: Gare d'Antony) is a station on the line B of the Réseau Express Régional, a hybrid suburban commuter and rapid transit line. It is named after the city of Antony, Hauts-de-Seine where the station is located. The station allows the transfer from the RER B to Orlyval, a small automated light rail shuttle service to Orly Airport.
