Fresnes Prison

Fresnes (French pronunciation: [fʁɛn] ) is a commune in the Val-de-Marne department in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 11.2 km (7.0 mi) from the center of Paris, next to Antony, Sceaux and Rungis. It is drained by the River Bièvre. The Fresnes Prison, where Jean Genet was held for a time, is located there.

Parc de Sceaux is one of the Paris RER B stations, located in the city of Antony, Hauts-de-Seine, France. This is also the name of a park and castle from Jean-Baptiste Colbert.

It was named after Joseph Lakanal, a French politician, and an original member of the Institut de France. The school also offers a middle school and highly ranked "classes préparatoires" undergraduate training. Famous French scientists and writers have graduated from lycée Lakanal, such as Jean Giraudoux, Alain-Fournier and Frédéric Joliot-Curie. The school includes a science building, a large park, a track, and dormitories for the Pôle Espoir Rugby and the boarding students. Several teachers also live at the school along with boarding students. The main classrooms and the dormitories are in one building, and the school uses space heaters in every classroom except the science building's classrooms and the gymnasium.As of 2016 the school has about 2,550 students in all levels, from junior high school to preparatory classes.

L'Haÿ-les-Roses (French: [laj.le.ʁoz] (listen)) is a commune in the southern suburbs of Paris, France. It is located 8.5 km (5.3 mi) from the centre of Paris. L'Haÿ-les-Roses is a sous-préfecture of the Val-de-Marne département, being the seat of the Arrondissement of L'Haÿ-les-Roses. L'Haÿ-les-Roses owes the second part of its name to a famous rose garden located there.
