Whites Creek is a neighborhood of Davidson County in the U.S. state of Tennessee. It is governed by the Metropolitan Council of Nashville and Davidson County, due to the fact that the government of Davidson County is consolidated with that of Nashville. The community is named for the creek of the same name running north–south along U.S. Route 431. The historic Whites Creek District was established in 1780 and has some of the best preserved examples of the architectural and historical significance of this era in Middle Tennessee.
