Hellvik (Nesodden)

Hellvik is a village in the municipality of Nesodden, Norway. It is situated on the eastern coast of Nesodden facing the Bunnefjorden. Hellvik lies north of Berger, east of Skoklefall and south of Ursvik. As Nesodden is a peninsula, the estimated time by car, heading into Oslo, is about 50 minutes. Hellviktangen, a bit north of Hellvikstrand, is an old farm, turned into a café, surrounded by green fields and beaches - the café and the area surrounding it are considered to be one of the "pearls" of Eastern Norway. The village is connected by Hellvikskogveien, Hellvikveien and Hellvikstrand. Geographically, Hellvik is quite steep, making construction planning an architectural challenge. Up to now, Hellvik has remained relatively untouched by urbanisation. Since the early 1990s however, Hellvik has seen the construction of several "modernistic" buildings built.

Flaskebekk is a village in Nesodden municipality and Viken county, Norway. The village is located on the northwestern end of Nesoddtangen peninsula, south of Oslo. It looks onto the Oslofjord and Oslo, Bærum, and Asker in the distance. The area borders Tangen to the North; Bjørnemyr to the South; and Skoklefall to the East. Flaskebekk is known for 'Strandpromenaden' - the beach promenade - which hugs the coastline south of Nordre Flaskebekk pier. Along the promenade are badehus - small 'bath houses' usually owned by local families and simply furnished for day trips to the fjord. A ferry on the Oslo - Drøbak route stops at Nordre Flaskebekk pier during the summer months. Flaskebekk played a role in the Norwegian resistance movement during World War II. Corncrake, a clandestine radio station belonging to resistance organization Milorg, was located in a summer house in Flaskebekk. German soldiers ambushed the location on April 4, 1944; Leif Kyrre Karlsen, Ivar William Wagle, and Tell Christian Wagle, the station's three undercover agents, lost their lives in the ambush. A small plaque has been erected at Flaskebekkveien to commemorate the radio station.

Nakholmen (also spelled Nakkholmen) is an uninhabited island in the inner part of Oslofjord, in the municipitality of Oslo. It is located west of Lindøya and southeast of Bygdøy. The island has more than 180 weekend cottages.

Langøyene is an island in Bunnefjorden in the inner part of Oslofjord, in the municipitality of Nesodden in Akershus, Norway. It is owned by the municipality of Oslo. Langøyene were originally two islands, Nordre Langøy and Søndre Langøy. The islands were bought by the municipitality of Kristiania in 1902, and the strait between the two islands has been filled with garbage deposits.

Nesoddtangen is a village and the administrative centre of the municipality of Nesodden in Akershus, Norway.Nesoddtangen is located on the tip of the peninsula between the inner Oslofjord (Indre Oslofjord) and its arm Bunnefjorden. It is situated 4 miles (7 kilometers) southwest of Oslo. It had 13,150 residents in 2021; about two thirds of the municipality's population. Of the working population in Nesoddtangen, more than 90% work in Oslo. Passenger ferries are the most used commuting transportation.The name Nesoddtangen is a triple tautology, consisting of three parts, nes, odd and tangen, all being synonyms signifying a small cape or promontory.

Nesodden is a municipality in Akershus in Viken county, Norway. It is part of the traditional region of Follo. The administrative centre of the municipality is Nesoddtangen. The parish of Næsodden was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt). The new municipality of Oppegård was separated from Nesodden on 1 July 1915.

Sunnaas Rehabilitation Hospital is a hospital in Nesodden, Norway, and a health trust under Helse Sør-Øst. Sunnaas is the country's largest specialized hospital in physical medicine and rehabilitation. Patient services include cancer services, brain injuries after accidents or disease, multiple injuries, burns, and neurology. The rehabilitation program covers primary rehabilitation, controlled return, and patient programs. The hospital has policlinics in Oslo and on Nesodden and runs laboratory research on the hospital's behalf. Research is a central part of the trust's work. The hospital has its own research department and uses both medical students and their own health personnel.
