The Bonnieure (French pronunciation: [bɔnjœʁ]) is a river in the Charente département, southwestern France, left tributary to the river Charente. It is 46.9 km (29.1 mi) long. Its source is in Genouillac, in the east of the department. It flows into the Charente near Mansle. Another town along the Bonnieure is Chasseneuil-sur-Bonnieure. The Tardoire is a left tributary of the Bonnieure.

Its largest tributary is the Bandiat. It flows through the following départements and towns: Haute-Vienne: Châlus, Cussac Charente: Montbron, La Rochefoucauld, Rivières (a small municipality next to La Rochefoucauld)

Although there is a conventional road bridge across the river Charente near La Salle, there is also a very small ferry called a Barque. The Barque is guided by a steel wire with which users propel the boat.
