The Library of the Congress of Mexico (Spanish: Biblioteca del Honorable Congreso de la Unión, formerly the Santa Clara Church) mostly contains the records of the country's legislative sessions since its Independence. It is located at 29 Tacuba Street, near the corner with Bolivar in the historic center of Mexico City. This structure was originally part of a Poor Clares convent founded in the 16th century, but was confiscated by the Reform Laws of the 19th century. Since then, this building has been used as government offices, barracks and even a canteen. It current use was established in 1962, when the Library of Congress was founded by the Mexican government. Since then, the archives it houses have outgrown the building and a number are housed at the Palacio Legislativo de San Lázaro as well.

MIDE, Interactive Museum of Economics (MIDE, Museo Interactivo de Economía) or simply MIDE is the first museum in the world dedicated exclusively to economics. The museum was opened in 2006 and is located on Tacuba Street in the historic center of Mexico City. The museum is open to the public and features hands-on exhibits meant to make the basic concepts of economics fun and engaging. The museum is housed in the old Bethlehemite convent and hospital. Before the Bank of Mexico acquired the building in 1990, it was in ruins and filled with debris. It took fifteen years to restore the building to what it probably looked like in the 19th century.

The Teatro de la Ciudad (Theater of the City) was built as the Teatro Esperanza Iris (Esperanza Iris Theatre) in 1918 and is now one of Mexico City’s public venues for cultural events. The theater is located in the historic center of Mexico City on Donceles Street 36.

The Congress of Mexico City (Spanish: Congreso de la Ciudad de México) is the legislative branch of the government of Mexico City. Between 1988 and 1997, it was known as the Assembly of Representatives of the Federal District (Spanish: Asamblea de Representantes del Distrito Federal). Between 1997 and 2018, it was styled the Legislative Assembly of the Federal District (Spanish: Asamblea Legislativa del Distrito Federal. During those earlier periods, it had reduced powers compared to the current body.

The Garden of the Triple Alliance is a small garden and monument composed of three bronze castings representing the three Tlatoaque of the Aztec Triple Alliance, and made by the artist Jesús Fructuoso Contreras between 1888 and 1889. It is located on Filomeno Mata street (at the crossing with Tacuba street), west of the Zocalo in the historic center of Mexico City.

The Senate of the Republic, (Spanish: Senado de la República) constitutionally Chamber of Senators of the Honorable Congress of the Union (Spanish: Cámara de Senadores del H. Congreso de la Unión), is the upper house of Mexico's bicameral Congress. It currently consists of 128 members, who serve six-year terms.

The Hospital del Divino Salvador was the first hospital established in Mexico City for the treatment of mentally ill women.

The Teatro Fru Fru (Fru Fru Theater) is a theater in Mexico City. It was inaugurated on January 1, 1899 under the name Teatro Renacimiento. In 1973 it was re-inaugurated with its current name. It is located at number 24 in the Donceles Street, in the Centro Histórico de la Ciudad de México

Francisco I. Madero Avenue, commonly known as simply Madero Street, is a geographically and historically significant pedestrian street of Mexico City and a major thoroughfare of the historic city center. It has an east–west orientation from Zócalo to the Eje Central. From that point the street is called Avenida Juárez and becomes accessible to one-way traffic from one of the city's main boulevards, the Paseo de la Reforma. It was named in honour of one of the most important figures in the Mexican Revolution – Francisco I. Madero, a leader of the Anti-Re-election Movement and who was briefly President of Mexico before his assassination in 1913.

Casa Pellandini was a Mexican company that manufactured and imported art and luxury items, founded by the Swiss stained glass artist of Italian origin Claudio Pellandini, in 1893, at the 2a. Calle de San Francisco No. 10, currently Madero 33 (Banco Santander Select), four blocks East of the Palacio de Bellas Artes, in Mexico City.

The Borda House, located on 27, 29 and 33 Madero Street, and 26-28 Bolivar streets in the historic center of Mexico City, originally belonged to the Frenchman José de la Borda (Joseph de Laborde) who was one of the richest men in New Spain in the 18th century. It stands out due to its notable architectural features such as the sculpted stone decorative details on the ground floor. The original building encompassed the entire city block. It had various inner courtyards, and Borda had an ironwork balcony built all the way around the building, supported by angles in the shape of rooster feet. This allowed one to walk all the way around the building on the outside.

The Church of San Felipe Neri, commonly known as "La Profesa" (English: the Professed house), is a Roman Catholic parish church that was established by the Society of Jesus late in the 16th century as the church of a community of professed Jesuits. The church is considered to be an important transitional work between the more sober or moderate Baroque style of the 17th century and the extremely decorated manifestations of the Baroque of the 18th century in Mexico.Located at the corner of Madero and Isabel la Católica Streets in Mexico City, diagonally opposite the Museo del Estanquillo, its original name was "La Iglesia de la Casa Profesa." This church is well known for being the site of a number of historical events, including the "La Profesa Conspiracy," which was instrumental in bringing Agustín de Iturbide to power and the "Polkos Rebellion". More recently, this church was the scene for deliberations relating to the beatification of Juan Diego. The church is also noted for its very large collection of colonial-era artworks spanning three centuries by some of Mexico's best artists including Cristóbal de Villalpando, Juan Correa, Pellegrí Clavé and José de Alcíbar.
