Andrićev Venac

The Museum of Ivo Andrić (Serbian: Музеј Иве Андрића / Muzej Ive Andrića) is a museum located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Founded on 10 October 1976, it is dedicated to the Nobel prize winning writer Ivo Andrić. It is operated by the Belgrade City Museum. The library contains 4,502 bibliographical units, rich collection of photographs, numerous Andrić's personal holdings, and writer's study room and the salon, with authentic atmosphere since Andrić's time.

The New Palace (Serbian Cyrillic: Нови двор, romanized: Novi Dvor) was a royal residence of the Karađorđević dynasty of Serbia and later Kingdom of Yugoslavia. Today it is the seat of the President of Serbia. The palace is located on Andrićev Venac in Belgrade, Serbia, opposite of Stari Dvor (Old Palace).

Pioneers Park (Serbian: Пионирски парк) is a park in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. Developed from the royal garden, which itself was a successor of a much older garden, it is today one of the central city parks. It has been open for public since 1944. The park has been declared a botanical natural monument.

London (Serbian: Лондон) is an urban neighborhood of Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. It is located in Belgrade's municipality of Stari Grad, in city's downtown.

Archaeological Site Pionirski Park is one of the most important archaeological sites in Serbia. Protective and systematic researches of ancient Singidunum have been lasting for more than a hundred years. Unfortunately, at the beginning of the 21st century, knowledge of this city is still shallow compared to the knowledge of the history of other ancient cities that have been explored for so long. One of the reasons for this, is the fact that above the ancient Singidunum grew modern Belgrade whose construction destroyed the earlier cultural layers.

Stari dvor (Serbian Cyrillic: Стари двор, lit. "Old Palace") was the royal residence of the Obrenović dynasty. Today it houses the City Assembly of Belgrade. The palace is located on the corner of Kralja Milana and Dragoslava Jovanovića streets in Belgrade, Serbia, opposite Novi dvor (New Palace).

The Kingdom of Serbia (Serbian Cyrillic: Краљевина Србија, romanized: Kraljevina Srbija) was a country located in the Balkans which was created when the ruler of the Principality of Serbia, Milan I, was proclaimed king in 1882. Since 1817, the Principality was ruled by the Obrenović dynasty (replaced by the Karađorđević dynasty for a short time). The Principality, under the suzerainty of the Ottoman Empire, de facto achieved full independence when the last Ottoman troops left Belgrade in 1867. The Congress of Berlin in 1878 recognized the formal independence of the Principality of Serbia, and in its composition Nišava, Pirot, Toplica and Vranje districts entered the South part of Serbia. In 1882, Serbia was elevated to the status of a kingdom, maintaining a foreign policy friendly to Austria-Hungary. Between 1912 and 1913, Serbia greatly enlarged its territory through engagement in the First and Second Balkan Wars—Sandžak-Raška, Kosovo Vilayet and Vardar Macedonia were annexed. At the end of World War I in 1918 it united with Vojvodina and the Kingdom of Montenegro, and in December 1918 it merged with the newly created State of Slovenes, Croats and Serbs to form the Kingdom of Serbs, Croats and Slovenes (later known as Kingdom of Yugoslavia) under the continued rule of the Karađorđević dynasty.

The Principality of Serbia (Serbian: Књажество Србија, romanized: Knjažestvo Srbija) was an autonomous state in the Balkans that came into existence as a result of the Serbian Revolution, which lasted between 1804 and 1817. Its creation was negotiated first through an unwritten agreement between Miloš Obrenović, leader of the Second Serbian Uprising, and Ottoman official Marashli Pasha. It was followed by the series of legal documents published by the Sublime Porte in 1828, 1829 and finally, 1830—the Hatt-i Sharif. Its de facto independence ensued in 1867, following the evacuation of the remaining Ottoman troops from the Belgrade Fortress and the country; its independence was recognized internationally in 1878 by the Treaty of Berlin. In 1882 the country was elevated to the status of kingdom.

Revolutionary Serbia (Serbian: Устаничка Србија / Ustanička Srbija), or Karađorđe's Serbia (Serbian: Карађорђева Србија / Karađorđeva Srbija), refers to the state established by the Serbian revolutionaries in Ottoman Serbia (Sanjak of Smederevo) after the start of the First Serbian Uprising against the Ottoman Empire in 1804. The Sublime Porte first officially recognized the state as autonomous in January 1807, however, the Serbian revolutionaries rejected the treaty and continued fighting the Ottomans until 1813. Although the first uprising was crushed, it was followed by the Second Serbian Uprising in 1815, which resulted in the creation of the Principality of Serbia, as it gained semi-independence from the Ottoman Empire in 1817.

Park Aleksandrov (Serbian: Парк Александров) is a park in Belgrade, a capital of Serbia. It is situated in the sole center of the city, along the main Kralja Milana street. Named Devojački Park until 2017, it is located in the municipality of Stari Grad.

"Stanković" Music School in Belgrade, founded in 1911, under the auspices of King Peter I, as a musical and teaching institution. It is one of the oldest educational institutions in Belgrade. When it was established, it operated within the Choral Society "Stanković". It was named after the Serbian composer, and pianist Kornelije Stanković who was the first to introduce harmonics of the Serbian root and spiritual compositions. "Stanković" Musical School is one of the institutions that laid the foundations of Serbian music culture. Until the beginning of World War II, when the Music Academy in Belgrade was founded, this school, together with the musical school "Mokranjac", was the only source of all music staff – composers, music artists, musicologists, educators – who worked not only in Belgrade and Serbia, but also in a much wider area. The holders of all types of musical creativity, most of those who are represented or still represent the backbone of Serbian music culture, passed through this school as students, teachers or directors. Concert life, opera, chamber orchestra, philharmonic, other musical schools, Music Academy, all this somehow originated from the work and growth of the Musical School "Stanković". Many music artists who are recognized today have passed through this school, and excellent educators and music experts taught at the school, such as Мeri Žeželj, couple Binički, Branko Cvejić, Vojislav Vuković-Terzić, Aleksandar Živanović, Aleksandar Pandurović and other well-known music educators. This school has always stood out in terms of the quality of students and teaching staff, as evidenced by numerous awards and recognitions. The headquarters of the Musical School "Stanković" is in 1a, Kneza Miloša street, however, teaching cannot take place at that location because ten years ago, a part of the school building was destroyed with the promise to build a new facility for the needs of the school. Unfortunately, the promise still has not been met, and one of the oldest and most respected schools in Belgrade is working under difficult conditions. Despite this, the school still shows great results, and students still take part in the great rating of the school "Stanković".

The Museum of Paja Jovanović is a memorial museum located in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia. The museum contains the paintings and personal object of one of the most famous Serbian painters, Paja Jovanović.
