Revelstoke station was a railway station in Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. It was previously used by the Canadian Pacific Railway and Via Rail. The station is on a Canadian Pacific Kansas City line. The station was originally built for the Canadian Pacific Railway, serving the nearby city of Revelstoke. The station was converted to a Museum in 1992 which opened in 1993.

Revelstoke Secondary is the only public high school in Revelstoke, British Columbia part of School District 19 Revelstoke. In October 2011, a transition was made from the old school into a new 40 million dollar project, built directly beside the old building. The new school building is one of the most modern and environmentally friendly schools in Canada and includes a 275-seat theatre, an oversized gymnasium, a fitness room, a fully equipped library, two computer labs, woodwork and automotive shops, an art room, a drama facility, food services, a music/band room, science labs, a home economics area, and general student services spaces. Revelstoke Secondary School (RSS) is known for its strong track and field team and athletic program which is complemented by a vibrant music and visual arts program. The students at RSS have above-average academic results as measured by the BC Ministry of Education, and most recently was tied for first among all the rural secondary schools in British Columbia.

Nels Nelsen Hill (orig.: Big Hill) is an abandoned ski jumping hill located in Mount Revelstoke National Park near the city of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. The original hill, Big Hill, was built in 1916 and was the first permanent ski jump in Canada. By 1933, three world length records had been set on the Big Hill. It fell out of use in 1939, with Revelstoke instead using the Big Bend Ski Jump. Big Hill was rebuilt to a K80 hill in 1948 and was named in honor of Nels Nelsen, a local ski jumper who had set two world records on the hill. Among the events hosted there were the annual Tournament of Champions and the 1949 edition of the Western Canada Ski Championships. In the vicinity was a K60 hill and other smaller hills. The hill record of 94.5 meters (310 ft) was set by Kjell Sjöberg in 1967. The last major tournament was held in 1974. The venue has not been used since 1975 and has fallen into disrepair.

The Illecillewaet River is a tributary of the Columbia River located in British Columbia, Canada. Fed by the Illecillewaet Glacier in Glacier National Park, the river flows approximately 62 kilometres (39 mi) to the southwest, where it flows into the north end of Upper Arrow Lake at Revelstoke. The river's drainage basin is 1,202 square kilometres (464 sq mi).

Revelstoke Dam, also known as Revelstoke Canyon Dam, is a hydroelectric dam (combined earthfill dam and gravity dam) spanning the Columbia River, 5 km (3.1 mi) north of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. The powerhouse was completed in 1984 and has an installed capacity of 2480 MW. Four generating units were installed initially, with one additional unit (#5) having come online in 2011. The reservoir behind the dam is named Lake Revelstoke. The dam is operated by BC Hydro.

Mount Mackenzie is a 2,461-metre (8,074 ft) mountain just southeast of the city of Revelstoke, British Columbia, Canada. Part of the Selkirk Mountains, it is the site of the Revelstoke Mountain Resort ski area and was named for the Right Honourable Sir Alexander Mackenzie, the second Prime Minister of Canada.

Mount Macpherson is a 2,427-metre (7,963-foot) mountain summit located in the Gold Range of the Monashee Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. Situated 10 km (6.2 mi) southwest of Revelstoke and west of the Columbia River and Upper Arrow Lake, this peak is visible from Revelstoke, the Trans-Canada Highway, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort ski area. Its nearest higher peak is Mount Tilley, 5 km (3.1 mi) to the south, and Mount Begbie is 5.7 km (3.5 mi) to the south-southeast.

Mount Begbie is a 2,733-metre (8,967-foot) mountain summit located in the Gold Range of the Monashee Mountains in British Columbia, Canada. Situated west of the Columbia River high above the shore of Upper Arrow Lake, this prominent peak is visible from the Trans-Canada Highway, Revelstoke, and Revelstoke Mountain Resort ski area. Mt. Begbie Brewing Company, a brewery, was named after the mountain. The nearest peak is Mount Tilley, 3 km (1.9 mi) to the west, and the nearest higher peak is Blanket Mountain, 14.0 km (8.7 mi) to the south.

Okanagan—Revelstoke was a federal electoral district in British Columbia, Canada, that was represented in the House of Commons of Canada from 1953 to 1968. This riding was created in 1952 from parts of Kamloops and Yale ridings. It was abolished in 1966 when it was redistributed into Kootenay West, Okanagan Boundary and Okanagan—Kootenay ridings.
