Great Titchfield Street

Go West is the title of the first exhibition by Stuckist artists in a commercial London West End gallery. It was staged in Spectrum London gallery in October 2006. The show attracted media interest for its location, for the use of a painting satirising Sir Nicholas Serota, Director of the Tate gallery, and for two paintings of a stripper by Charles Thomson based on his former wife, artist Stella Vine.

Spectrum London was a London art gallery which showed contemporary figurative painting, photography and sculpture. It staged Go West, the first commercial West End show of the Stuckists, and a retrospective by Sebastian Horsley. It closed in 2008.

Scandinavian Kitchen is a Scandinavian delicatessen and grocery store in 61 Great Titchfield Street, London. Its menu is based on the smörgåsbord and the Danish smørrebrød (open sandwich) and draws on the Scandinavian tradition of uncomplicated food served on rye bread. The Kitchen's grocery section stocks over 600 food products from all over Scandinavia including a large selection of pickled herring, specialty cheeses and crisp bread as well as chocolate and the northern European speciality, salty liquorice. Opened in 2007, it was the first Scandinavian delicatessen to open in London.

The Roman Catholic Church of Saint Charles Borromeo is a Roman Catholic church on Ogle Street in the Diocese of Westminster, London.Named after Charles Borromeo, a 16th-century Italian saint. On the outside it is Gothic Revival style; the architect was Samuel Joseph Nicholl, possibly in partnership with T.J. Willson. The church was built in 1862/3 and cost £4,000; the land was gifted by an anonymous donor. The builders were Messrs Patman and Fotheringham. It was opened by Cardinal Wiseman on 20 May 1863.John Francis Bentley added the present reredos, high altar and communion rails in 1870/73. The reredos, which is thirty feet high, has two tiers of saints painted on slate by Nathaniel Westlake. The frontal for the Lady Chapel altar was added in 1879. The reredos, designed by Nicholl, in the Sacred Heart chapel was added in 1902, with four angels in niches are holding the instruments of the Passion; in the central niche is a statue of the Sacred Heart by Theodore Phyffers (1821-1876), a Belgian-born sculptor working in London. When the lease expired the church survived because Madame Meschini and her son Arturo purchased the land and donated it the Westminster diocese. The church was consecrated on 4 September 1921. It fortunately survived being damaged in the war and the interior was restored in 1957/63 and again in 1978/80, when the reredos was restored and a large forward altar, by Michael Anderson, installed. The octagonal immersion font, designed by Michael Anderson in collaboration with Mattia del Prete and Antonio Incognito of Rome, was installed in the nave in 1984. BBC Radio 6 Music is a British digital radio station owned and operated by the BBC, specialising primarily in alternative music. BBC 6 Music was the first national music radio station to be launched by the BBC in 32 years. It is available only on digital media: DAB radio, BBC Sounds, digital television, and throughout northern and western Europe through the Astra 2B satellite. BBC Radio 6 Music has been described as a "dedicated alternative music station". Many presenters have argued against the perception that the main focus is indie guitar music. The station itself describes its output as "the cutting edge music of today, the iconic and groundbreaking music of the past 40 years and unlimited access to the BBC's wonderful music archive". Since 2014, an annual music festival, 6 Music Festival, has been held in different cities around the United Kingdom and broadcast live on the station.In July 2010, the BBC Trust announced it had rejected a proposal by the BBC to close 6 Music to provide commercial rivals more room. The trust commented that the station was "well-liked by its listeners, was highly distinctive and made an important contribution". St Paul's Church, for many years known as the Portland Chapel, was built in the eighteenth century on the site of the former Marylebone Basin reservoir in London. Today the site is occupied by the BBC and known as Brock House, originally the Philharmonic Hall.The building was constructed in 1766 or 1775–6 of brick with a stone steeple and consecrated in 1831. It was designed by Stiff Leadbetter for the Portland Estates. The Philharmonic Hall was built on the site of the church in 1907/08 to replace the St James's Hall in Regent Street which had been demolished in 1905.

The Philharmonic Hall, 97 Great Portland Street, London, originally the St James's Hall, was built in 1907–08 to replace the St James's Hall that once stood in Regent Street. The building was then used by the BBC and known as Brock House. It is now leased to The Office Group.

BBC Wogan House is a building in central London owned by Abrdn and currently on long-term lease to the BBC. It is located on the junction of Gildea Street and Great Portland Street adjacent to the BBC's headquarters, Broadcasting House. Originally named Western House, on 16 November 2016 the building was renamed Wogan House after the Irish broadcaster Sir Terry Wogan, who had died in January that year, and broadcast his final Wake up to Wogan breakfast show from the building in December 2009.
