Mountain Pointe High School is a secondary school located in Ahwatukee, Arizona one of eight public high schools serving the Tempe Union High School District.

The House of the Future also known as the Ahwatukee House of the Future is an example of a home of the future located in Ahwatukee, an urban village in Phoenix, Arizona. The idea was originated by Randall Presley, the developer of Ahwatukee to promote his then-new development and bring more residences to the then-less populated Ahwatukee neighborhood. The House was designed by Charles R. Schiffner Taliesin Associated Architects of the Frank Lloyd Wright Foundation in Scottsdale, who got inspiration from his drawings of one of his box projects originally intended for Mr. and Mrs. Wright. It was opened for tours in 1980; tours cost $3. Between 1980 and 1984 the House attracted approximately 250,000 people, who were also given tours of various model homes in the development. After four years the House was sold, and is now in private ownership, having changed hands several times.The House was "the first microprocessor controlled house". Designed in coordination with Motorola it had multiple Motorola MC6800 microprocessors that "opened and closed windows, adjusted blinds, and stored tax records, shopping lists, and video games." The system consisted of ten microprocessors, and cost $30,000 in 1980 dollars.The three-bedroom house had an unconventional design. "Most of it is below ground. It includes a two-storey 'atrium', or sky-lobby, from which all the rooms lead off. This contains plants and provides a central conversation area." "Dozens of companies helped build the property at an estimated cost of more than $2 million, a portion of it in donated materials."When it opened the house became a media sensation. “It was covered in periodicals, the media of the time, in 33 different countries. It became a world-famous house, in essence.”

KDUS (AM 1060) is a sports talk radio station broadcasting out of Tempe, Arizona, and serving the Phoenix metropolitan radio market. It is owned by Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc. and licensed to Phoenix FCC License Sub, LLC. Its studios are located on North 52nd Street west of Papago Park and its transmitter is in Guadalupe. KDUS broadcasts on the clear-channel frequency of 1060 kHz; KYW and XEEP are the dominant Class A stations on that frequency. KDUS can also be heard on HD Radio receivers at 100.7 FM KSLX-FM-HD2.

Guadalupe Regional High School, also known as Guadalupe Satellite at Compadre High School during its final year, was a small high school in Guadalupe, Arizona. It was run by the Tempe Union High School District after it was turned over by the Maricopa County Regional School District in 2006 for financial reasons. The school, after this move, lost 35 students to bring it down to an enrollment of just 25: Many students had missed too many classes and had to be dropped due to state regulations. 12 other students transferred to Compadre at the beginning of the school year. Due to a lack of offerings or needed specialized attention, some students were transferred, particularly to Marcos de Niza High School, the closest public high school.Because of this, the Tempe Union High School District began to consider closure of the school. A million dollar budget shortfall in the district forced the closure of the school, which had shrunk even further to 16 students. Of those 16, four graduated after summer school, two moved to Marcos, and ten moved to Compadre itself.It was located at a Boys and Girls Club facility in Guadalupe.

Guadalupe is a town in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States and part of the great Phoenix metropolitan area. The town motto, "where three cultures flourish", recognizes the town's roots in the Yaquis, Mexicans and descendants of the original farmers. Since its founding, Guadalupe has been known as a center of Yaqui culture, and it is home to many religious festivals. Nestled between Phoenix and Tempe, the 2020 census listed the population of the town as 5,322. Guadalupe was founded around 1900 by Yaqui Indians, who fled their homeland in Sonora to avoid oppression by the Mexican government of Porfirio Díaz. The cemetery of Guadalupe was established in 1904, in the original townsite. The cemetery is now officially located in Tempe, due to that city's annexation of the land surrounding the cemetery; however, it is still administered by the Guadalupe Clerk's Office. Guadalupe is primarily a residential area; most residents commute to other parts of the Phoenix area to work.

Turning Point USA (TPUSA) is an American nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college, and university campuses. It was founded in 2012 by Charlie Kirk and Bill Montgomery. TPUSA's interconnected affiliate groups include Turning Point Endowment, Turning Point Action and TPUSA Faith. TPUSA has been described as the fastest growing organization of campus chapters in America, and according to The Chronicle of Higher Education, is a dominant force in campus conservatism.The organization started Professor Watchlist, a website that claims to expose professors that TPUSA says "discriminate against conservative students and advance leftist propaganda in the classroom". TPUSA has attempted to influence student government elections in an effort to "combat liberalism on college and university campuses". In 2021, TPUSA started its School Board Watchlist website, which publishes names and photos of school board members who have adopted mask mandates, or anti-racist curricula.TPUSA annually hosts several conferences on various topics throughout the year, such as the Student Action Summit, Young Women's Leadership Summit, Young Black Leadership Summit, and AmericaFest. The organization is funded by conservative donors and foundations, including Republican Party politicians.

Valley Christian High School is a private Christian high school located in Chandler, Arizona, United States.

Compadre Academy (formerly Compadre High School) is a high school in the Tempe Union High School District in Tempe, Arizona. It serves as a faster paced alternative high school for students who wish to get ahead in their high school credits. Compadre Academy formerly consisted of two campuses due to one of the schools being under construction to add more facilities. Subsequently, the other school was closed and has since had its students moved to the now much larger and renovated campus.

Horizon Honors Schools (also known as Horizon Honors or Horizon Community Learning Center) is an organization of tuition-free charter schools in the Ahwatukee Foothills area of Phoenix, Arizona. Horizon Honors consists of two schools: Horizon Honors Elementary School (Grades K-6) and Horizon Honors Secondary School (Grades 7–12). Over 1,500 students from cities throughout the East Valley attend the schools. Horizon Honors Elementary School has an enrollment of 728 students. The school principal is Laura Wanstreet. The school is ranked an “A” School by the Arizona Department of Education (2018), designated a “No Place for Hate” School by the Anti-Defamation League, and is designated a “Mix It Up” Model School by the Southern Poverty Law Center. Horizon Honors Secondary School has an enrollment of 280 students in Horizon Honors Middle School (grades 7–8) and 425 in Horizon Honors High School (grades 9–12). The school principal is Paul Schneider. The school is ranked an “A” School by the Arizona Department of Education (2018,) has a 99% graduation rate, and 97% of graduates pursue college degrees. The school is ranked a "Best High School" by U.S. News & World Report, and accredited by the North Central Association AdvancEd.

Arizona Mills is an outlet shopping mall in Tempe, Arizona within the Phoenix metropolitan area and it is one of the tourist destinations in Phoenix, Arizona and it was owned by the Mills Corporation (which owned 25%) and Taubman Centers. However, Taubman has since sold the remaining 75% stake to Simon, who purchased it in 2007 from the Mills Corporation. It opened on November 20, 1997, with 6,000 parking spaces and approximately 200 retailers. It is currently anchored by Old Navy, Off Broadway Shoe Warehouse, American Freight, Forever 21, Harkins Theatres, H&M, IMAX, Legoland Discovery Center, Rainforest Cafe, Sea Life Aquarium, Tilt Studio, Ross Dress for Less, Marshalls, Camille La Vie, Conn's, and Burlington Coat Factory. The mall is located on the Southeast corner of US 60 and I-10. Despite the presence of 'Mills' in its name, it is not geographically close to or affiliated with Mill Avenue, a shopping and entertainment district near Hayden Butte to the north. The name comes from that of the property developer, formerly known as the Mills Corporation. Like other Mills Centers, Arizona Mills has abstract graphics from the entrances and inside the whole mall. Likewise for this mall, numerous artworks are displayed throughout Arizona Mills from the people of Arizona. In June 2008, the mall's website was changed from its former Mills Corporation format to its Simon Malls format along with 16 other sister Simon-Mills malls. It was the last Simon-Mills mall to make the switch. It is one of three malls Simon currently owns in Arizona, with Phoenix Premium Outlets in Chandler & Tucson Premium outlets being the others. It is the third mall Simon has ever owned in Arizona, previously having owned Southgate Mall in Yuma, Arizona, and Metrocenter Mall in Phoenix, Arizona which is now owned by Carlyle Development Group.

Sea Life Arizona is a 26,000 square foot interactive aquarium located at Arizona Mills mall in Tempe, Arizona. The aquarium contains thousands of aquatic creatures, plus interactive touch pools and a 360° ocean tunnel. Sea Life Arizona is owned and operated by Merlin Entertainments, which operates over thirty other aquariums in eleven countries on two continents. Eight of these are in the United States.

KPHX (1480 kHz) is a commercial AM radio station in Phoenix, Arizona. It is owned by Vic Micheal's Cedar Cove Broadcasting. KPHX carries a Spanish language Christian talk and teaching radio format. It is also heard on FM translator 92.9 K225CT in Paradise Valley, Arizona.Using a directional antenna, KPHX broadcasts at 1,000 watts by day and 33 watts at night.
