Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna

Konstancin-Jeziorna [kɔnˈstaɲt͡ɕin jɛˈʑɔrna] is a town in Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, with 17,566 inhabitants (as of March 2011, according to GUS). It is located about 20 km (12 mi) south of downtown Warsaw and is a part of the metropolitan area of that city. The town was created in 1969 through combining neighbouring towns: holiday resort Skolimów-Konstancin and industrial Jeziorna with a number of villages. The town, a 19th-century health spa, sits on the administrative border of the capital city, Warsaw. The town is known for its historic villas as well as newly built mansions, a shopping center in a restored 19th-century mill and is the home of the American School of Warsaw. Konstancin-Jeziorna also has a sports team which specializes in football/soccer named Kosa Konstancin created by former professional footballer Roman Kosecki.

Chojnów Landscape Park (Chojnowski Park Krajobrazowy) is a protected area (Landscape Park) in east-central Poland, established in 1993, covering an area of 67.96553 square kilometres (26.24164 sq mi). It consists chiefly of the Chojnów forests (Lasy Chojnowskie) south of Warsaw, named after the village of Chojnów. The Park lies within Masovian Voivodeship, in Piaseczno County (Gmina Piaseczno, Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna, Gmina Prażmów, Gmina Tarczyn). Since 2010, it has been part of the Masovian Landscape Park Complex, along with the Mazowiecki, Brudzeński, Kozienicki and Nadbużański landscape parks (with which he previously formed the ensemble). It is an element of the Green Ring of Warsaw and the protected areas belt stretching from the Mazowiecki Landscape Park to the Bolimów Landscape Park. Within the Landscape Park are 11 nature reserves.

Czarnów [ˈt͡ʂarnuf] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna, within Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) south-west of Konstancin-Jeziorna, 6 km (4 mi) east of Piaseczno, and 18 km (11 mi) south of Warsaw.

Janówek is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, within the City Information System area of Skarpa Powsińska. It is a small single-family housing neighbourhood, centred of Prawdziwka Street.

Bielawa [bjɛˈlava] is a village located in Poland, in Piaseczno County in the Masovian Voivodeship, just south of the city of Warsaw. The population is 960. The Bielawski family originated from and owned the village of Bielawa in the 15th century through 17th century.

The American School of Warsaw (commonly abbreviated as ASW) is an English-using international school in Warsaw, Poland, founded in 1953 by members of the U. S. Embassy. The school remains connected to the Embassy for general support and the U.S. Ambassador is the honorary chair of the board according to the bylaws of the school. Members of the Board of Trustees are appointed by the ambassador, appointed by the board itself, or elected by the members of the school association (parents). The school is divided into Elementary and Upper School divisions. The school also has a 25m pool and a library that includes a picture book room. The grounds also contain tennis courts, basketball courts, football courts, baseball, courts as well as two extensive playgrounds. The school has some 1000+ students from Pre-K to 12th Grade, with, on average, twenty students per class. The student body contains 55+ different nationalities. The student population is approximately 20% Polish, 20% American and the rest from around the world.

It lies approximately 3 kilometres (2 mi) east of Konstancin-Jeziorna, 10 km (6 mi) east of Piaseczno, and 19 km (12 mi) south-east of Warsaw.

Skarpa Powsińska is a neighbourhood, and a City Information System area, located in Warsaw, Poland, within the district of Ursynów. The area includes two single-family neighbourhoods, Janówek and Łęczyca, as well as the Polish Academy of Sciences Botanical Garden – Powsin Centre for Biological Diversity Conservation, and the Powsin Culture Park.

Chylice [xɨˈlit͡sɛ] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Piaseczno, within Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) east of Piaseczno and 16 km (10 mi) south of Warsaw.

Łęczyca is a neighbourhood in Warsaw, Poland, located within the district of Ursynów, within the City Information System area of Skarpa Powsińska. It is a small single-family housing neighbourhood, centred of Prawdziwka Street. It forms the municipal neighbourhood of Prawdziwka.

Okrzeszyn [ɔˈkʂɛʂɨn] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna, within Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north of Konstancin-Jeziorna, 10 km (6 mi) north-east of Piaseczno, and 15 km (9 mi) south-east of Warsaw.
