Chojnów Landscape Park (Chojnowski Park Krajobrazowy) is a protected area (Landscape Park) in east-central Poland, established in 1993, covering an area of 67.96553 square kilometres (26.24164 sq mi). It consists chiefly of the Chojnów forests (Lasy Chojnowskie) south of Warsaw, named after the village of Chojnów. The Park lies within Masovian Voivodeship, in Piaseczno County (Gmina Piaseczno, Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna, Gmina Prażmów, Gmina Tarczyn). Since 2010, it has been part of the Masovian Landscape Park Complex, along with the Mazowiecki, Brudzeński, Kozienicki and Nadbużański landscape parks (with which he previously formed the ensemble). It is an element of the Green Ring of Warsaw and the protected areas belt stretching from the Mazowiecki Landscape Park to the Bolimów Landscape Park. Within the Landscape Park are 11 nature reserves.

Gmina Konstancin-Jeziorna is an urban-rural gmina (administrative district) in Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, in east-central Poland. Its seat is the town of Konstancin-Jeziorna, which lies approximately 8 kilometres (5 mi) east of Piaseczno and 17 km (11 mi) south-east of Warsaw. The gmina covers an area of 78.28 square kilometres (30.2 sq mi), and as of 2006 its total population is 23,229 (out of which the population of Konstancin-Jeziorna amounts to 16,579, and the population of the rural part of the gmina is 6,650). The gmina contains part of the protected area called Chojnów Landscape Park.

Konstancin-Jeziorna

Konstancin-Jeziorna [kɔnˈstaɲt͡ɕin jɛˈʑɔrna] is a town in Piaseczno County, Masovian Voivodeship, Poland, with 17,566 inhabitants (as of March 2011, according to GUS). It is located about 20 km (12 mi) south of downtown Warsaw and is a part of the metropolitan area of that city. The town was created in 1969 through combining neighbouring towns: holiday resort Skolimów-Konstancin and industrial Jeziorna with a number of villages. The town, a 19th-century health spa, sits on the administrative border of the capital city, Warsaw. The town is known for its historic villas as well as newly built mansions, a shopping center in a restored 19th-century mill and is the home of the American School of Warsaw. Konstancin-Jeziorna also has a sports team which specializes in football/soccer named Kosa Konstancin created by former professional footballer Roman Kosecki.
