Redfern Oval is an Australian football ground, in the Sydney suburb of Redfern, New South Wales, Australia. The South Sydney Rabbitohs Rugby League Football Club played at Redfern Oval between 1948 and 1987. Rabbitoh supporters often refer to Redfern Oval as "The Holy Land".

The St. Maron's Cathedral, also called St Maroun’s Cathedral, is a Maronite rite Eastern Catholic Church cathedral church, located in Redfern, in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It is the main temple of the Maronite Catholic Eparchy of Saint Maron of Sydney (Eparchia Sancti Maronis Sydneyensis Maronitarum) which was created by Pope Paul VI in 1973 through the papal bull, Illo fretis Concilii. The administration of the Eparchy is overseen by the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Sydney. The cathedral is the seat of Epoch Antoine-Charbel Tarabay, OLM and religious services are delivered in English and Arabic.

Redfern Park is a heritage-listed park at Elizabeth, Redfern, Chalmers, and Phillip Streets, Redfern, City of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by Charles O'Neill. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 21 September 2018.

The Waterloo Town Hall is a heritage-listed town hall located in Waterloo, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. Located at 770 Elizabeth Street, it was built in 1880–82 in the Victorian Italianate architectural style with Second Empire elements by John Smedley, Edward Hughes and Ambrose Thornley. The town hall was the seat of Waterloo Municipal Council from 1882 to 1948 and since 1972 has been the Waterloo Library, a branch of the City of Sydney Library (and formerly South Sydney Library) servicing Waterloo and Alexandria.

The Redfern Town Hall is a landmark sandstone civic building located in the heart of Redfern, New South Wales, Australia. built in 1870 and designed in the Victorian Regency style by George Allen Mansfield. It was the seat of the Municipality of Redfern from 1870 to 1948. It stands at 73 Pitt Street, Redfern.

The Rachel Forster Hospital for Women and Children opened on 3 January 1922 in Redfern (an inner suburb of Sydney, Australia) as the 'New Hospital'. In 1925 the hospital was renamed after Baroness Rachel Forster, the wife of the then Governor-General of Australia, Henry Forster, 1st Baron Forster. Initial goals were to serve as a training hospital for female doctors and to serve women and children. It later grew to include specialised clinics and a breast cancer research centre.The hospital started admitting men in 1967.The hospital faced closure in the mid 1990s and services were transferred to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital by mid 2002.In 2013, City of Sydney councillor Irene Doutney raised strong concerns about the proposed redevelopment of the site, suggesting that most of the hospital would be demolished apart from the eastern facade and the colonnades at the front entrance. She suggested that the hospital had been left to "demolition by neglect", and that in the new development "They’re going to keep the minimum amount of heritage possible then bang a new building down. It's not adaptive re-use at all, it's demolition."In December 2014, The Daily Telegraph ran a photo piece documenting the deteriorating and vandalised state of the hospital despite its former significance, and referring to Doutney's 2013 concerns about the site falling victim to "demolition by neglect."

Strawberry Hills is an official Urban Place in Sydney, in the state of New South Wales, Australia. Strawberry Hills is located east of Central railway station, within the suburbs of Surry Hills and Redfern which are part of the local government area of the City of Sydney. The origin of the name is unknown.The neighbourhood features mostly mixed commercial/residential & business developments with medium to high density residential developments, including terrace housing and newer apartment blocks. Strawberry Hills is also the home of a number of significant cultural organisations including Opera Australia, The Australia Council for the Arts, and numerous notable entertainment venues including the Belvoir Street Theatre and the Strawberry Hills Hotel, a renowned traditional Australian jazz venue located on Elizabeth Street.

Fitzroy Terrace is a heritage-listed residence located at 6-18 Pitt Street in the inner western Sydney suburb of Redfern in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It was designed by James Hume. It is also known as Fitzroy Crescent. The property is privately owned. It was added to the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.
