W San Francisco is a 31-floor, 96 m (315 ft) highrise luxury boutique hotel in San Francisco, California located next to the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and across from Moscone Center. The tower was constructed by Webcor Builders and opened in 1999. The building was the tallest concrete-framed structure in San Francisco until The Paramount was completed three years later. The hotel contains 401 rooms operated by W Hotel, which is under the same operator (Marriott International) as the nearby St. Regis Museum Tower.

The Museum of the African Diaspora (MoAD) is a contemporary art museum in San Francisco, California. MoAD holds exhibitions and presents artists exclusively of the African diaspora, one of only a few museums of its kind in the United States. Located at 685 Mission St. adjacent to the St. Regis Hotel in the Yerba Buena Arts District, MoAD is a nonprofit organization as well as a Smithsonian Affiliate. After a six-month refurbishment in 2014 to expand the gallery spaces, the museum reopened and transitioned into presenting exclusively fine arts exhibitions. MoAD does not have a permanent collection and instead works directly with artists or independent curators when developing exhibitions.

140 New Montgomery Street, originally known as The Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Company Building, and, after 1984, as The Pacific Bell Building or The PacBell Building, in San Francisco's South of Market district, is an Art Deco mixed-use office tower located close to the St. Regis Museum Tower and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.The 26-floor building was designed to consolidate numerous smaller buildings and outdated offices into a modern headquarters for The Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Co., and as a result, was designated as the Pacific Telephone & Telegraph Co. Coast Division Offices by the company, though referred to colloquially as The Telephone Building. When it opened on May 30, 1925, The Pacific Telephone Building was San Francisco's first significant skyscraper development, and was the tallest building in San Francisco, until the Russ Building matched its height in 1927 at the time of its completion. The building was the first high-rise south of Market Street, and along with the Russ Building, remained the city's tallest until it was overtaken by 650 California Street in 1964. It was the first high rise located on the west coast to be occupied solely by a single tenant.AT&T sold the building in 2007, and as of 2013, Internet company Yelp is the main tenant.
