The Gregory Ground was a football and cricket ground in Nottingham in England. It was the home of Nottingham Forest between 1885 and 1890. It was also used as a cricket ground by Lenton United in between 1888 and 1969.

The Parkside Ground was a football ground in Nottingham in England. It was the home ground of Nottingham Forest between 1883 and 1885.Forest were forced to leave Trent Bridge cricket ground in 1883 when Notts County replaced them there and they found a field in Lenton Sands to play on at short notice. The new pitch at Parkside had a slope and was uneven, which contrasted with their previous pitch at Trent Bridge. Forest's first game there was a 3–2 victory on 22 September 1883 against Small Heath Alliance (who were to become Birmingham City) watched by 3000 people. Crowds in general though were small at Parkside with one game attracting only 150 spectators. The club left Parkside at the end of the 1884/85 season to move to the Gregory Ground.

Lenton is an area of the City of Nottingham, in the county of Nottinghamshire, England. Most of Lenton is situated in the electoral ward of 'Dunkirk and Lenton', with a small part in 'Wollaton East and Lenton Park'. Originally a separate agricultural village, Lenton became part of the town of Nottingham in 1877, when the town's boundaries were enlarged. Nottingham became a city as part of the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of Queen Victoria in 1897.

Holy Trinity Church, Lenton is a parish church in the Church of England Diocese of Southwell. The church is Grade II* listed by the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport as it is a particularly significant building of more than local interest.

The Lenton Flats were a mid-20th century high rise housing complex located in the Lenton area, west of the city of Nottingham, England. The estate originally consisted of 5 tower blocks, with each block reaching to a height of 48.1 metres (158 ft) and consisting of 17 floors. All tower blocks were demolished by May 2016.

The Albert Ball Memorial Homes were erected in 1922 in Lenton, Nottingham. Alderman Albert Ball commissioned the building of the Albert Ball Memorial Homes in Lenton to house the families of local servicemen killed in action, in memory of his son, Albert Ball, a fighter pilot who had been killed in World War I. Opened on 7 September 1922, the homes featured some unusual design elements. The building, containing eight residences, was built to evoke an aircraft, with the homes the wings, and the central porch reminiscent of a cockpit. The two centre homes had curving doors, windows, and walls that also fit the theme. Windows on the row are suggestive of propellers. They were also built with ease of use for the elderly in mind. The Albert Ball Memorial Homes were Grade-II listed in 1995.

The GlaxoSmithKline Carbon Neutral Laboratory for Sustainable Chemistry is a chemistry laboratory in Nottingham, England. It is located on the Jubilee Campus of the University of Nottingham, and is part of the university's School of Chemistry. The school carries out research at the carbon neutral laboratory, which is the first of its kind in the UK. The construction was majority funded by GlaxoSmithKline, as part of their commitment to green chemistry first announced in 2010, and saw a grant of £12 million provided to the project.There are five teaching and research laboratories on the first floor, with write-up space for about 100 researchers. The laboratories have been designed to encourage sharing of equipment, in order to be more collaborative than traditional ones. There are also dedicated instrument rooms, including nuclear magnetic resonance, and space to work with schools on outreach activities. The laboratory contains a number of innovations to reduce its environmental impact including a wooden construction, a green roof, solar panels, and extensive use of passive ventilation.

Radford is an inner-city area of Nottingham, located just outside the city centre. The appropriate ward of the City of Nottingham Council is called Radford and Park with a population of 21,414. It is bounded on the south by Lenton and Nottingham City Centre, and comprises around 600 acres (2.4 km2) of land.
